The independent air conditioning, not central, was great. The inward-opening window with a screen was perfect for keeping out bugs. The automatic toilet didn't splash, which was also a plus. However, the duvet was way too thick! Considering it's summer, the duvet thickness should be adjusted for different seasons; a summer comforter would be much better. Otherwise, I literally woke up sweating in the middle of the night!

The biggest surprise was the concierge service for luggage both at check-in and check-out. The only drawback was that in the evenings, many guests were quite drunk, which made using the elevators uncomfortable. The quality of other guests was a bit hard to comment on. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, and it's a great choice for those who appreciate a refined lifestyle.

The hotel facilities are decent; not new, but not run-down either. Most hotels in Xining don't have air conditioning. Breakfast selection is good – not super extensive, but all the essentials are there. The staff are all very enthusiastic and respond quickly. Given it's peak season, the price is what it is. Overall, I'm satisfied; you can't have everything.
