I was surprised when I arrived. The design and facilities of the room are all high-end homestays, but the price is only half of the same type of famous homestays. It's a surprise! The bedding is very comfortable and the pillows must be praised. And her ham is unique, it's delicious and not as salty as other hams. You must order it. The eggs are picked up by myself from the chicken coop, and the vegetables are picked by the eldest sister in the field. The native chicken only eats vegetable leaves and corn. The soup is golden and fragrant. The landlord's family is simple and kind, and gave me a very good experience during this trip. I highly recommend it!"

"Such a wonderful, peaceful stay, with the most friendly and helpful English speaking hosts! Kindhearted owner Liuting (Eva) cooked us very tasty vegetarian meals, and her partner Dima gave us some lovely travel recommendations in the region. Liutings brother and sister were also very sweet. Nuodeng is the perfect combination of nature (nice walks in and around the village) and culture (old temples, beautiful old houses and stairs- it's smart to bring a backpack instead of suitcase). Also very suitable to work away from home for a few days: strong wifi and plenty of little work spaces up and downstairs in the property, with the most beautiful views over the valley. The cute animal companions made our stay complete: I loved the cat cuddles, and dog Xiaohua even joined us on multiple walks. On our departure day, Liuting helped us so much with organising a shared taxi too. And on top of everything: the food and stay was so affordable, great value for money. We hope to come back one day!"

I like the eldest sister’s cheerful personality. The house is located halfway up the mountain, not far from the big green tree. It takes about half an hour to climb up to the Jade Emperor Pavilion slowly. One thing: when I sleep in bed, I always smell a musty smell near the wall near the head of the bed. It may be due to the humidity in the area, the moisture in the wall, or the smell of ham. . ."
