Shand Nima Grand Hotel ★★★
"Excellent location! The museum is just a two-minute walk away (turn right upon exiting). Jiegu Temple is a short five-minute drive and is definitely worth visiting. You can even see Jiegu Temple right from your room window! The hotel also provides parking."
Vienna International Hotel (Yushu Museum) ★★★★
"During check-in, they were indifferent. I booked a deluxe smart twin room, but they gave me a room with a tiny window. Strangely, both the window of the room next door and the window of the adjacent room faced a small space with absolutely no air circulation. It felt like a disguised wall separating us, which felt like a rip-off. As for the oxygen concentrator, after I informed the front desk, a guy came and fiddled with it for ages before finally managing to get air out of a vent. I've stayed in many Vienna hotels, and this is the first time I've encountered anything like this!"
Qinggan Hotel ★★★
"The hotel has a very spacious parking lot. While the room amenities are a bit dated, the service from staff across all departments was excellent. After checking in, the weather quickly took a turn for the worse, with strong winds blowing down a large tree right in front of the hotel. When I asked the front desk for restaurant recommendations, they went above and beyond by directly contacting the hotel's restaurant staff, ensuring we could safely dine on-site."
Meirujia Holiday Hotel ★★
"The hotel is on a hill off the road from Xining, keep in mind if you are with a bike, hee hee There are several shops nearby, and a large supermarket a couple of hundred meters away."
JI Hotel (Yushu Jiegu Avenue) ★★★
"Very clean"
Lavande Hotel (Yushu Prefecture Museum Qionglong Road) ★★★
"The hotel was very clean, and the mattresses were just the right firmness for a comfortable sleep. The staff were responsive, the location was convenient, the soundproofing was excellent, the facilities were complete, and the price was reasonable, making it a great choice for a short trip."
Vienna Hotel (Yushu Tangbo Old Road) ★★★
"The room is very nice, hygienic and clean, with complete facilities. The front desk service is also super friendly. Thumbs up."
Yushu Quanju Hotel
Atlanta Hotel Jade Tree ★★
"This hotel seriously needs to get its act together regarding cleanliness. Some items should be replaced, others thoroughly washed, and the staff definitely needs proper training! Firstly, upon entering our room, we found a half-drunk bottle of water. The duvet was incredibly and visibly filthy (as shown in Figure 1), covered in unknown stains. It makes you wonder who had been in the room before we even checked in? We went downstairs and spoke to the front desk, and they 'upgraded' us to another room. In reality, it was just a room with two extra chairs, but the cleanliness was just as 'impressive' – meaning, still terrible. The surface dust hadn't been wiped at all; I wouldn't even dare to put anything on those two extra chairs (see Figures 2, 3, and 4). To top it all off, they didn't even bother to put a full roll of toilet paper in the bathroom... What's more, the bathroom sink wouldn't drain properly. After washing up, the water just sat there; we pressed the stopper repeatedly, but it refused to go down. I've never encountered such a dysfunctional bathroom in my life. Finally, the hotel's location is extremely inconvenient for vehicles. You have to drive down a narrow alleyway, which is completely lined with parked cars on both sides. Drivers literally have to fold in their side mirrors just to squeeze past oncoming traffic. You can imagine how frustrating that is..."

Yushu Staff Home Hotel
"I found out there was no hot water for showering when I checked in. I reported it many times but it was not resolved. The room temperature was too high. I woke up several times due to the heat. I was sweating in the morning and couldn't take a shower. It was the worst experience in my life. I was drunk."

Yushu Ruiji Hotel
"In Yushu, Qinghai, a place that should be cool and refreshing during the summer heat, this hotel experience was so terrible that I wanted to check out on the spot! The weather here is supposed to be cool, so staying in a hotel should be enjoyable, but this room was like a stuffy, airtight container. I was drenched in sweat after a short while, offering absolutely no comfort or respite from the heat. To make matters worse, some machine outside the window was making a constant, incessant buzzing noise all night long, so loud that I couldn't sleep at all until the early hours of the morning! Even with my eyes closed, the noise was unbearable, and I didn't get a wink of sleep. The next day, I was exhausted and groggy. The room facilities were even worse: the sink pump was broken, overflowing every time I turned it on, soaking the countertop and floor; the showerhead was completely unusable, with inconsistent water flow! And the smart toilet even flushed water outside!! What was most infuriating was the attitude of the front desk! When I complained about the noise, they just said, "Fine, we're full!" What's even more infuriating is their audacity in saying, "The reason it's cheap at 300 yuan is because it's noisy outside!? Why didn't you write that in the notes??? Saying that 300 yuan is all you can get is a place like this"—so we're getting a bargain by paying 300 yuan for a hot, noisy, and dilapidated room in Yushu? Yushu is such a great place; any clean guesthouse would be far better. This place not only has ridiculously poor facilities, but the service is also disgusting; it's clearly a rip-off. I sincerely advise everyone to avoid this place and not waste your money on such a terrible experience!"
Wheatfield Hotel (Tibetan Hospital)
"Good service attitude, the room is very hot, the movie view is also good, very good"
Meet Yushu Inn
"The bed was very comfortable, with just the right firmness, and I slept soundly until morning. The room was cozy, with good natural light and ventilation, making it very relaxing. The hot water came quickly, the air conditioning was at a comfortable temperature, and the Wi-Fi was stable – all the details were well done."
Yushu Pucuo Daji Hotel
"It was a room with common bathroom, but in the bathroom there's no shower., and no hot water. Staff is very nice and allow us to take a shower in another room. Location is a bit far from the city centre, but it is ok."
Yushu Thousand Households Hotel
"I rarely write reviews, but I am writing this for the public good. First off, almost everything listed under **room amenities** was lacking. There was no air conditioning / Only disposable towels were provided / No body wash or conditioner / The bidet only had a heated seat function, no bidet function / No remote for the projector at all / No tea bags / No wardrobe, just hooks on the wall to hang clothes. I was actually going to let it slide without writing a review if they had been friendly or the service was decent. However, they were extremely unfriendly. I wasn't even expecting excessive friendliness. From check-in until I left, I greeted them whenever we crossed paths, but they didn't even return my greeting. At check-out, there was only a cleaning staff member present. So I couldn't even ask them anything (they didn't seem to know). While looking for the projector remote, I opened a drawer and found leftover sunflower seeds... I was willing to overlook things like white crumbs on the carpet or dust on the headboard... but isn't this basically a case of not cleaning at all? When I tried to wash up, the shower head seemed old; no matter what I did, the water flow was barely coming out. It was extremely noisy at night with singing until 1 AM. I wondered if there was a KTV nearby. It was so loud that I went outside to check, but it was just a deserted marketplace with all the lights off. The entrance was also tucked away in a corner. I chose this place because it claimed to have air conditioning, but there actually wasn't any, so the door was left open the whole time, which was incredibly annoying. I was furious that I hadn't looked into other hotels in Yushu. Also, I saw that cancellations were allowed, but it turned out they were only possible on the same day... but since that was my fault, I'll let it slide. Anyway, my memories of Yushu were completely ruined right here. If you still plan to go despite all this, please check the photo of the entrance before you go. It's hidden away."
