"Mercure Guangzhou Beijing Road was the perfect base for our trip. The location is unbeatable right in the heart of the pedestrian street with the Ancient Rd., Dao Temple and the Metro exit just a few minutes walk away we enjoyed morning dim sum at nearby Dodoo, Jew and Wonjo restaurant then wandered to show me an island and Yong Ching bang in the evening. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the staff were warm and helpful. Everything we wanted was within walking distance making sightseeing and eating incredibly easy. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommended to anyone visiting Guangzhou."

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Chimelong Spaceship Hotel during our trip to Zhuhai Chimelong! The hotel is full of delightful marine elements throughout. The exterior design is striking, and the lobby is spacious and comfortable. The animatronic marine animals are a huge hit with kids. Luggage storage was a breeze—very convenient for dropping off and picking up. The room was spacious, bright, and cozy with warm lighting, featuring a separate living room, bedroom, and a tea set. It was also spotlessly clean. Buying the Spaceship Park package bundle was great value for money, and the resort shuttle bus made getting around quick and easy. There are plenty of entertainment options surrounding the hotel. The security staff are dedicated and vigilant, making the resort feel very safe and secure. The staff are especially friendly to little ones, proactively greeting both the kids and us. The hotel's location is fantastic, with frequent shuttle bus services so you never have to worry about missing one. It's super close to the theme park, meaning when you get tired, you can just head back to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again—so convenient! "Overall, the room was quite good. **Amenities:** It had everything one would need, like a refrigerator and washing machine (the fridge stayed powered on). **Cleanliness:** A common issue with many hotels, there was an odor from the bathroom drain, but it wasn't too bad, just an occasional whiff. **Environment:** It was quite clean; I didn't experience any allergies or discomfort using their towels or other items. **Service:** The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and provided good service. **Location:** It's just a few minutes' walk from the hotel to Fuhuali, which I personally feel is one of the better shopping districts in Zhuhai... there's a great variety of food and drink options there."

"This is a brand-new hotel with no lingering renovation smell, and the location is superb—right above Puning's busiest commercial area. The room is huge, so much so that there's a proper hallway after stepping through the door. However, the view outside the window is pretty average, mostly just a bunch of massive central AC units. The breakfast was great and definitely lives up to the Hilton name. The service is worth mentioning: First, since we arrived quite early (just after 12:00 PM), the room wasn't ready yet. The guy at the front desk was extremely polite and kept following up with housekeeping to expedite the cleaning. After waiting for nearly 40 minutes, we were finally able to check in. The staff member apologized repeatedly, gave us a bunch of small gifts, and even threw in complimentary breakfast—truly sincere service. On the other hand, after checking in, we requested an extra duvet for our child. When I called Housekeeping, the guy on the phone immediately said the hotel was fully booked and that all extra duvets had already been lent out, so there were none left... It was barely past 1:00 PM, and claiming they were already ”all taken” seemed like a very far-fetched, almost ridiculous excuse. That said, they did end up delivering a duvet in the end, and the staff member who brought it was very friendly, which was still appreciated."

"First off, the service was truly excellent, creating a warm, natural, and attentive atmosphere. The staff were clearly well-trained; I haven't felt this level of service since my stay at the Mandarin Oriental Sanya. Secondly, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Finally, the location is truly fantastic, just a three-minute walk to Sunwen West Road. It's right by the Shiqi River, in the most bustling part of Zhongshan. I'd call Atour Hotel a 5-star hotel perfectly suited for Chinese guests. If the Atour brand ever launches a resort-style hotel with a swimming pool, I don't think there would be any need to visit other established 5-star hotels anymore."

My recent stay at Meihao Lizhi was a truly delightful surprise. I have to give a special shoutout to Elena—her service was exceptionally attentive, she was warm and professional, efficient with requests, and responded very quickly without being overbearing. She had the boundaries just right. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and made for a great night's sleep, and the bathroom facilities were top-notch. What really won me over was the heartwarming late-night bowl of noodles. Coming back exhausted after a whole day out and having a hot bowl of noodles instantly helped me unwind and washed away all the travel fatigue. The hotel also offers afternoon tea, and the overall amenities are very comprehensive, making it ideal for both business trips and vacations. With solid hardware and warm, heartfelt service, I've already bookmarked this place and will definitely make it my top choice next time I'm in town. Highly recommended to everyone!

High-floor view, the room felt neat and clean, with complete facilities. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and find great food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, leading to a wonderful overall stay with great value for money. The lobby has a great atmosphere and is equipped with all essential amenities, close to numerous dining and shopping options. The hotel provides breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks. Right across from the hotel is Beijing Road, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Peasant Movement Institute Station (or equivalent local station) or Gongyuanqian Metro Station, which feature Line 1 and Line 2. Getting to places frequented by seniors and kids—like the Guangzhou Oceanarium, zoo, children's park, and Pearl River night cruise—is extremely convenient. The easy commute makes sightseeing much less exhausting. The decision-making and arrangements were spot-on. We stayed for two nights, and the evening staff promptly replenished bottled water and other supplies. They also allowed us to store our luggage for three days. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time, especially since I've already stored my luggage and booked again.

Was disappointed when I called for the airport pick up as the lady said No English! How am I supposed to book if you don't speak English? This was the 1st hurdle. 2nd hurdle was room TV wasn't working and how would I called for help if they don't speak English right? 3rd hurdle was breakfast from 7-9am. My flight was 8.30am They arranged for my transfer at 5am. So, do I get to pack my brekkie? Lady said NO So, I argued and then she showed me a papervag of juice and buns. This hotel is outdated from the outlook and was originally called Super 8 hotel Bedroom slippers was not new but rather recycled plastic slippers. Looks so unhygienic to use . Booked this place due to their airport pick up/drop off that's all. I'd rather book another hotel if you asked me.

We had an amazing stay this time! First of all, the ocean views from the hotel are unbeatable. We were lucky to have clear, sunny weather, and the sea and sky blended into a brilliant, crystal-clear blue! You can watch the sunrise right from your room's small balcony or take a walk down to the seawall. The hotel has an innovative design—the front desk is on the top floor, and the rooms cascade downwards, meaning every single room faces the ocean. Everywhere you look is a picturesque view, perfect for taking photos, and just completely relaxing. The swimming pool is clean and beautiful, and I loved it! I also brought two elderly family members who are in their 80s, and the young staff members took such attentive care of them over the two days. We had a wonderful time! A fantastic hotel that I highly recommend!

Honestly, the service team was so inconsistent it was speechless, with too many frustrating examples to list 😅. The concierge downstairs was excellent, and the lobby front desk staff were professional and good. However, the room attendants seemed quite young, possibly untrained, and their compensation might be average. They were completely clueless about the binoculars, laundry service, and minibar 😅. The male staff at the fitness center were very enthusiastic and provided professional and thorough guidance. But the changing room cleaner, an old man, would work right next to you, silently trying to shoo you away, and when asked a question, his tone was sarcastic… My companion mentioned that the female attendants were bad, ignoring her and chatting/playing on their phones nearby. I also observed the same situation during my visit 😅. The afternoon tea at the lounge was quite sparse (though it seemed better for foreigners**), but the evening service and food quality were excellent and attentive. Overall, if I hadn't been unable to book at Dongwan, I wouldn't have bothered going here. Every staff member at breakfast was professional, thumbs up. Some facilities in the executive room were showing their age; the minibar had a rusty smell 😂, likely due to prolonged disuse without replacement, but the room attendant was still enthusiastic. The hallway carpet was old, and the air freshener had an unsettling, somewhat rancid smell. Overall, for 5k a night, it felt worse than some 2k-3k-a-night hotels. To an NPC, this is the most disappointing fan I've ever stayed at. Now I understand why my boss specifically said not to sign a contract with this place.

I came here on a quick layover,as I arrived late at night and needes ro get in morning to the train station. I chose this hotel specifically because of the proximity - only 8 min walk from the gate entry. But for one night the room felt super big and comfy, and everyone helped me understand how to get to the station.

My child had such a wonderful experience at the Mandarin Oriental Sanya that they decided to visit all Mandarin Oriental hotels in China, starting with Guangzhou. Upon check-in, we found leftover takeaway packaging from the previous guest in our room. However, the hotel's housekeeping staff responded immediately, presented a small panda toy for my child in the family room, and cleaned thoroughly afterward, providing an ample supply of amenities. The room design is beautiful, though the floor-to-ceiling window view wasn't particularly scenic (lots of tall, drab buildings). My child said it looked like the clouds were learning to shapeshift when viewed from the bed. The gym is exceptionally well-maintained, and the pool water temperature is very comfortable. As soon as you exit the pool, an attendant offers a towel – a service experience not even found at the Four Seasons. Breakfast is semi-buffet style, which is great because too many choices can be overwhelming. I highly recommend the freshly made congee and French toast. By the way, there's an incredibly delicious Bing Sheng restaurant right across the street. And, don't go to Lei Garden; it's terrible.

The front desk service was excellent. The room was very clean and the bed was huge and super comfortable. The subway entrance is right downstairs, making transportation and parking very convenient. There are also many restaurants nearby.

The location is fantastic, very close to the subway station and large shopping malls, making it super convenient for getting around the city center! Plus, after comparing prices, the value for money is truly excellent! The laundry room is also very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dongguan.
