We loved our short stay. Location is perfect as only few minutes walk to cable car station to visit Tianmen mountains. Local bus to Avatar mountains departs near the hotel. Plenty local food around as well as McDonalds and Starbucks round the corner. Room had nice bathtube inside the room which has nice views of surroding buildings. Will recommend staying in here 🙂

The hotel's location is super convenient, directly opposite the cable car station, just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel is very clean, which made for a great experience. The service was attentive, and breakfast was abundant with a wide variety of choices. Areas for improvement regarding facilities include: 1. Adding a few hooks in the bathroom. It's inconvenient to have to step out of the shower to dry off and get dressed. 2. The room doors are quite noisy when closing, and you can hear the doors closing from neighboring rooms. 3. The elevator wait times are a bit long, averaging 1-2 minutes. 4. The TV size could be larger. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

I arrived at the hotel quite early in the morning. The front desk staff were very accommodating, offering tea and candy. They also promptly arranged for housekeeping to prepare my reserved room, and I was able to check in around 9:00 AM. The hotel was easy to find using the directions provided. Since I checked in so early, many rooms hadn't been vacated yet, so I ended up in a room without a window, which felt a bit damp. If that's something that bothers you, I recommend mentioning it to the front desk in advance. The area around Wuyi Square has plenty of food options and is very convenient for transportation. For local restaurants like 'Ben Luobo,' don't be deterred by the long lines; you'll get seated surprisingly quickly, usually within 30-40 minutes at most, because they turn tables over very fast.

The hotel is located at the entrance of the upstream scenic area, offering a tranquil escape from the bustling surroundings. The cat is adorable and well-behaved. Facilities: The bathroom is tiny, and the shower is really cramped. Mosquito repellent is provided, but it's not very effective, so I recommend bringing your own. Service: The staff (guys) are very enthusiastic and attentive. The guesthouse doesn't have an elevator, but someone will help you with your luggage 🧳. Environment: Open the French windows, and the real view is shown in Picture 1. It's stunning! The ancient town is very lively at night. I recommend exploring the architecture and trying the local snacks during the day. The fried tofu and sticky rice yogurt drink are excellent! You absolutely must try the restaurant in Picture 3! The owner is incredibly welcoming!

Traveling to Changsha, I was so glad I booked this hidden gem of a guesthouse on Trip.com. Its prime riverside location on a high floor offers absolutely stunning views; during the day, you see the sparkling river, and at night, the city lights across the bank. I'm a light sleeper, and before coming, I was worried about poor soundproofing in guesthouses, but my stay was completely free of noise disturbance. A special thank you to the lovely manager, Ms. Hu, for her warm and thoughtful service. She not only prepared alternative room options for me beforehand but also meticulously wrote down a list of restaurants popular with locals in the city and recommended souvenirs to take home. What really stood out was how Ms. Hu and Mr. Zeng from Siman (the guesthouse name) were at the front desk practically day and night, showing immense dedication and friendliness. They even proactively helped with laundry and drying, and folded it neatly before returning it. With beautiful scenery, excellent service, and a great price, our short three-day stay at Siman added wonderful memories to our Changsha trip. Thank you to both Ms. Hu and Mr. Zeng!

I had the most amazing stay at this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were picked up from the railway station. They dealt with our entry tickets, they dealt with our bags at every point, me and my friend didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our train on the day we were leaving was scheduled for 3pm. The staff let us stay in our room until 2pm, which hotels don’t usually do free of charge. Upon leaving, the gentleman who worked for the hotel told us to choose any food and drink we would like for our next train journey, which was incredibly thoughtful. The hotel room was incredibly clean and the views from the balcony were magnificent.

It was fair for the price and in a good location for accessing the forest park via the East entrance. Great to be able to do our washing and hang it to dry on the covered rooftop. The air conditioning in our room was a bit hit and miss, going from cooling to heating during the night. Overall nice atmosphere.

The overall stay experience is great! The e-sports equipment configuration is very high, the computer runs smoothly, the large-scale games are fully open and the picture quality is not stuck, and the network speed is stable and there is no delay. The room is clean and tidy, there is no smell, the tables and chairs are comfortable, the sedentary playing games are not tired, the front desk service is warm, the price is very high, the first choice for black, come back next time!

The hotel facilities are excellent, and the rooms are incredibly spacious, even equipped with a projector. The front desk staff are very welcoming; it's the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The service is exceptional. The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options, including Changsha's special rice noodles, available until 11 AM – a lifesaver for late risers! The Huangxing Square subway station is right downstairs, making transportation super convenient for getting anywhere quickly. Plus, there's free laundry service, which is fantastic for travelers as it really frees up your hands. The only minor issues are that the soundproofing isn't great (you can hear people leaving the room next door or loud conversations in the hallway), and the air conditioning has a slight noise. Other than that, everything is perfect!!!

The view blew me away, no 5-star hotel could beat the view from this hotel. A must visit when you want to spend the night in Furong. I was initially afraid I cannot sleep due to the sound of waterfall, but turned out I had one of the best sleep ever. The waterfall sound was so tranquil that it wasn’t disturbing my sleep at all. Service was excellent too. The driver will pick you up in the airport and took your luggage up to your room. Receptionist is very accommodating. The only thing that could be improved is the facility, water from the shower could seep through the gap.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for three days to visit the national parks. It’s an amazing hotel with excellent service and fantastic rooms. We loved everything and highly recommend it, especially because it’s very close to the park entrance. It’s easy to get to any location you need by taxi. Overall, we were absolutely delighted. A beautiful, comfortable hotel with outstanding service.

GGuest UserUpon arrival staff were very kind and welcoming. I’ve never stayed in a place so secluded so this was absolutely a great experience and super wholesome. Id recommend this place to couples and solo travellers, not necessarily for families unless you enjoy each others company x50 hehe. The property itself has a tea house, a restaurant and cute scenery places to explore and walk around. Cute cats and dogs are constantly roaming too :) the mountain view is picturesque and honestly a breathtaking view when waking up to it. Staff was so accomodating on my one night stay. I texted on WeChat at 1am in the evening and Mr Hu was super responsive and even got tasks done for me like finding cigarettes and Coke Zero late at night. The property was very clean for a cabin styled property, however I am used to more modern places - also please beware lots of mosquitoes during warm season so pack repellent!! I highly recommend the property if you’re visiting the Avatar Mountains, it’s 9 minutes away to the East Gate Entrance (Tianzi Cableway), the staff can also help book your tours and tickets easily.

PPierre Sae Houer-LamThe owner is fully committed for us to have the best experience in Zhangjiajie. We arrived mid afternoon without any certainty to go visit the Grand Canyon the same day. Once he knew that, he speeded up our check-in to have the essential tasks done. Right after that he helped me to set up my DiDi so I can have a drive to the Grand Canyon. I never had such a good service before. During the next days, we realize that he can also help us book attractions for a better price and without queuing at the ticket office. Thanks to him we visited Baofeng lake and Huanglong Cave on top of all the other activities we booked in advance. We are not just receiving a room in this hotel. We received much more. We were really grateful for your kindness.

GGuest UserStayed here for two nights while exploring Zhangjiajie. Fantastic little guesthouse, the room was very clean and modern, having a bathtub was a plus after walking 20,000+ steps each day! They have Japanese bidet toilets too which is relatively uncommon in China in my experience. They also provide fantastic service recommending attractions and booking tickets for the sights with a discount. They reached out a few days before the stay to ask about my plans and helped me decide what to do and booked tickets for me at a discount. Each day they would message in the morning to remind me what I was booked for and what time to get there etc. I arrived early on the first day and they were able to check me in straight away, but even if that isn't possible due to rooms being full, luggage storage is not an issue. The building doesn't have an elevator but they will move all your bags to your room for you (I tried to say I would be fine doing it but he refused to let me!). On the day I was leaving, I was able to just leave my bags in my room and when I came back from the park in the evening they had bought them downstairs for me, ready to go. The only negative (and I know this is common in China so I'm not being too picky!) is that the bed was very firm. I didn't ask them for an extra blanket or something to add padding but I'm sure they would have provided one if I had asked!

Lliuwenyu1968Pretty good! The lobby is impressive, and the room is spacious and bright. The bed is comfortable, and the shower has great water pressure and heats up quickly. They provide plenty of bottled water, and the tea set is nice. You can also get eye masks at the front desk. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

CChaya🇨🇳 Ho Perfect if you're entering via the East Gate! Beautiful rooms, amazing service. Keep this in mind for your trip! 📌 🛏️ 1. Exactly as pictured & Great value for money - The room is fantastic, very new, and spotlessly clean. I booked a room with a bathtub and got the 4th floor. It looked exactly like the photos. The price in late March was amazing—less than $30/night (getting a bathtub at this price is super worth it!). The furniture looks brand new. - The bathroom is great, with clearly separated wet and dry zones. It has a smart toilet with a heated seat and auto-flush! - Amenities are quite complete. However, the hotel provides disposable towels. If you have a larger build, they might not cover you completely (I'm petite, so it didn't bother me), but the material is highly absorbent. - Good to know: the building has an elevator, but you do have to carry your luggage up a few steps to reach the entrance, so it's not 100% wheelchair accessible. But once inside, you can comfortably use the elevator without carrying your bags up to the higher floors. 📍 2. Quiet location but easy to get around - The hotel is slightly tucked away from the busy, bright areas, making it very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. - Getting to the park is super easy. You can catch a Didi to the East Gate, and it’s very cheap—only about $0.70 per ride. - As for food, even though it's not right next to convenience stores or restaurants, you can easily order food delivery. If you want to eat out, you can take a Didi or walk to the restaurant area. It's not far, less than 1 kilometer away. 👩🏻💼 3. Friendly owner & Excellent service - The owner manages the reception herself and is extremely hospitable. She gives great advice on exploring the park. Whether you plan a 1-day or 2-day itinerary, she can recommend the perfect walking route. I planned a 2-day trip, so she suggested entering via the East Gate on the first day and the South Gate on the second day. - She is always in a good mood and genuinely seems to love her work. Her bright energy makes talking to her an absolute joy 🤣 I was so impressed! - Her English is okay for basic communication, but for convenience and speed, we used WeChat. The translation feature made it smooth, and we understood each other perfectly. 🎟️ 4. Better ticket discounts through the hotel - I highly recommend this! If you need tickets, let the hotel book them for you—the prices are actually better than booking through popular travel apps. - Whether it's the national park ticket (she also helps book your entry time slot for every day you plan to visit—though if you want to change the time, you need to ask her to update it for you), Baofeng Lake, or the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, she can get them at a cheaper price. - Another perk is the unpredictable weather in Zhangjiajie. Letting her book day-by-day or close to the date means you don't have to risk booking too far in advance. I changed my plan easily because of fog and rain, and it was completely stress-free. 🚑 5. A personal note of gratitude (why I'm writing this review so long) Late at night on March 25th, I had a medical emergency. I reached out to the owner, and she was incredibly helpful. She actually left the hotel counter to take me to the hospital and helped sort everything out 😭🙏 (I truly apologize to the other guests staying that night!). I was so touched and grateful, and didn't know how else to repay her, so I wanted to write this review to pass on the good word. Summary: This stay was super comfortable and truly heartwarming. Not only because of how much she helped me, but the rooms and facilities are genuinely excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay, please keep this hotel in mind! ❤️

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, just a short walk to Pozi Street with tons of restaurants and shops nearby, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. EEduarda Carvalho[Parks info below] I'm glad that I checked out this hostel, good value for money. Room was nice and tidy, lots of electricity sources in bed and common area, curtains, hot shower. I shared the 6 beds dorm with just another girl, and you make your own bed. No toilet paper, no free water refill, no light in bed. It's worth the price. If you extend your stay directly in the hostel it's cheaper than the app. The reception area is more cramped but you can socialize there. Most of the people are Chinese but I also met some foreigners. The guy in the reception speaks English and can give you information, in addition to that I recommend you to do your own research. There are two baby cats playing around, and an adult one. You can get to the hostel from the west railway station by bus line 17 for 2 yuan - last bus at 8:40pm + 15 minutes walk. Location is close to the main avenue where there's a lot of restaurants, and a 24-hour convenience store close to the corner with this same avenue. There are two night markets in the city, one on the avenue like 10 min distance walking to downtown direction, more local, and another one on the street in front of the tianmen mountain cable car, more touristy. The hostel is 15 minutes walking to the central bus station where you can get the bus to zhangjiajie park and 15-20 to the tianmen mountain cable car station. [ATTRACTIONS] Zhangjiajie (avatar), tianmen (heaven's gate) and canyon (glass bridge) are 3 different parks in different locations. The entrance to zhangjiajie gives you access for 4 days. I went the 4 days and enjoyed it very properly. If you're short on time, 2 days will do, but plan it wisely based on your priorities. Gates are 1 hour trip distance from the central bus station - 1h30 at weekends. Also, note that before entering the park with passport and face scan, you need to do an APPOINTMENT for that hour. You usually do it there at the gate, but for a saturday all appointments for that hour were sold out in advance and I had to wait for 45 minutes to go in. Recommended to check in advance especially on weekends. There are 2 types of tickets you can get: including all cable cars and elevator for unlimited time for 450 yuan; or just the entrance (including only free shuttles) for 215 yuan - you still have the option of buying each transport at the park (75 yuan cablecar one-way, 65 elevator one-way). At first, I had understood that to see the avatar mountains, the ONLY way was through the elevator, so I bought the all-inclusive. Turns out you CAN go by free shuttle + hike + free shuttle if you start in the east gate. My favorite part was the huangshi village. For tianmen, the entrance is 260 yuan. Choose the route in advance because some sell out fast. Gold advice: go at least one hour or more BEFORE the hour that you have the tickets for. The hour of your ticket just matters before the very last point before boarding the cable car. The line was MASSIVE and it took me 2h30 waiting on a Monday - ended up getting in 2 hours late than my ticket time and couldn't finish the whole loop: took only the red trail and went down to the heaven's gate. About the Canyon, I can't say much because I decided to skip it and save the 210 yuan ticket - note that this price DOESN'T include the activities, you must pay separately. The package that includes almost* everything is 360 yuan. Last but not least, if you go to the 72 Wonders, there's also an entrance of 88 yuan. You can go/come back with the bus 17 - same line that serves to the west railway station, last bus 8:40pm.

The staff were more than just innkeepers – they were tour guides, restaurant experts, and thoughtful organizers. Ticket booking, rain gear on a wet day, water always available – I never had to worry about a thing. Like being taken care of by family. They were also very accommodating with foreigners, spoke some English, and had a fantastic translation app for smooth communication. The most seamless, stress-free stay I’ve ever had.
