"Took us some time to understand how things function in the room, but we finally got it. We missed the AC most. Although the city is at almost 2300 m alttitude, it can get hot in the summer and there's only a narrow window in the room. Too little to cool it over the night. No fridge means no cold drinks either. And also the shower nozzle is not fully functional. Water is fighting its way out of that 😵 But there is a nice lobby and also the room looks good. We did get a surprise snack around 10.00 pm. All put together I would say 'Better try one of the other hotels in the neighbourhood.'"

"My last night in Xining, I chose this hotel mainly because it's close enough to the train station. The hotel's underground parking lot seems to have a limited number of spaces (similar to the Holiday Inn Express I stayed at before). You need to get a handwritten pass from the front desk to enter and exit without paying for parking. I arrived around 3:30 PM, and they said the room was still being inspected, so I had to wait a bit before getting the room card. The front desk also gave me two complimentary vouchers for afternoon tea on the top floor. I checked it out later, and honestly, it felt less impressive than the breakfast's dessert, fruit, and beverage selection. 😅 I got a room on the 20th floor with views of the mountains to the north and south of Xining, so I guess you could call it a ”mountain view + city view” room. Breakfast was pretty standard. The local specialties from Qinghai were 'sanzi' and 'huahua' (I think that's what it was called, also a fried starchy food). Similar to other HUAZHU hotels I've stayed at, this one had many tourists from eastern China. Around 8 AM, the restaurant and elevators became particularly crowded. Goodbye, Xining! 👋"

"The room was great! My kids absolutely loved the slide and building blocks in the room. The high floor offered a nice view of the wetland park next door. Parking downstairs was a bit tight and you had to pay for it yourself. There were plenty of dining options nearby, and we could even get food delivered to our room."

The room was very clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, and the toiletries were of good quality. The front desk staff were very friendly and checked us in quickly. All the hotel staff were warm and attentive, answering all our questions and even proactively helping us plan our itinerary. "The hotel experience was great! The room was super spacious and even had an oxygen concentrator to help with altitude sickness. The location is really convenient; you can see the salt lake right from the room. It's only a 7-minute drive to Chaka Salt Lake. They also gave us complimentary yogurt and a small gift. There are plenty of dining options downstairs, plus a Mixue Ice Cream & Tea and a Luckin Coffee nearby. The service was thoughtful, and the bedding was comfortable. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Chaka!"

"The hotel is located in the city center, which is convenient if you're driving. The breakfast selection is also quite rich. You don't have to go far, as the hotel's second-floor restaurant serves authentic Northwestern cuisine. My only complaint is that there are too few elevators, so you often have to wait several rounds to get on one, especially during breakfast."

"A perfect stay experience. The hotel is fully equipped with gym, laundry room, intelligent control room. The room is large, convenient to wash, dry and wet separation. Most importantly, the amount of water and temperature for washing are also very good! Breakfast is also very powerful. There was no breakfast when I booked. The front desk lady was very intimate to upgrade the room, give breakfast coupons, and the service was very thoughtful. "This is probably the best hotel in Xining. The service and facilities are well-maintained, the rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the cleanliness is excellent. It's located in a bustling area with several shopping complexes nearby, which might lead to some noise at night (due to outside activities)."

"Highly recommend this hotel! The location is excellent, right next to the train station, just a few minutes' walk, which is super convenient for catching a train. The room is very spacious, open and not cramped. It also has air conditioning, which is central but you can control it yourself, very convenient. The most pleasant surprise in the room was the humidifier, which made us first-time visitors to Xining feel very comfortable. The entire room was spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were attentive and friendly, and check-in was very efficient. I'm very satisfied with this stay."
