"Directly next to the airport. Beautiful lobby with a bar and restaurant. Plentiful lounge seating. I definitely felt very fancy walking in here! I enjoyed the heated indoor pool. It was only $50 more expensive than a Quality Inn in the same area, which I felt was well worth the money for the amenities and quality of service.
The shower is awesome, good water pressure and HOT!! Even a little bar to rest your foot on so you can wash/shave your legs!!
The downside was that maybe the housekeeping team is understaffed because I noticed the carpets in the hallway didn't seem to have been vacuumed recently, there was a wad of hair on the floor in my room, and the bed skirt was stained, ripped, and hanging off. I brought this to the attention of the front desk upon checkout. The small sign on the back of the door said that a single room can go for $399. If I had paid that price and received a room with hair and torn bedding, I would have been ticked. But as I got a good deal, it ultimately didn't bother me. I would stay here again."

NnambismeriFriendly and helpful front desk. Comfortable room on top floor. Large comfortable shared lounge and games area if wanted for a group. Convenient location to universities and train station or town amenities by car or walking. Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking, but you can get advice for where in the city to park.
GGuest UserFinding and getting into the motel is fairly easy as it is on Hwy 76. The main lobby is very clean and welcoming as are the staff. I did note that they had a No vacancy sign taped to the door, so that let me know they were a popular spot on the strip. We got there a little early, and there wasnt a guarantee that our room would be ready but the lady was very nice and was able to get us in without an issue. Process was quick and easy and we were assigned room 1121, ground floor, furthest away from the main road, on the backside of the building. We parked, used the key easily (just tap and go), and walked in. The smell made it obvious to us that there had been a major flood or leak because it reeked of attempts to cover the smell of mold and mildew. We could see water damage everywhere and even the sheets on the bed were damp due to excessive moisture in the air. We have worked restoration from flooding and could distinctly smell something reminiscent of an ozone machine. The air unit was black and broken in pieces, but it still worked, for which we were grateful. The carpets were dirty and in a serious need to be cleaned although by the door had the worst of it. The silicone in the bathroom is seriously moldy and, at best, needs to be replaced and at worst scrubbed with a mildew cleaner like Lysol mold and mildew. The in room fridge had serious condensation on the inside so we figured that it had been giving them issues. It wasn't until the next morning that we noticed the patch job in the ceiling over by the door that it occurred to us that that is the bathroom of the floor above us and that there was a major leak that way. Overall, I have paid less for better rooms and if there had been an option, I would have asked for a different room. If not for the fact that we knew we would not be getting a refund, we probably would have left and went somewhere else. The staff were wonderful to interact with, but the room itself was not worth the visit. Its a flip coin or maybe a desperate act that will get us to book there again. Oh! Major gap in the door and the glass in the window to the room was cracked! Shower head was gross and growing stuff too.
GGuest UserThis hotel is in the area near where I needed to be this weekend and it was clean. I will be staying again as I will need to return to the area.
I did have a mishap in that housekeeping cleaned the room but didn't make the beds. I had to leave to get to my performance venue about an hour after checking in, so I went to tell the front desk. The receptionist was very accommodating in getting someone up to my room ASAP, and they were made when I later returned. Thanks!
Also, I think one of the elevators isn't working, so you might have to wait a little longer. Had I stayed longer, I would have found the stairs.
GGuest UserDisappointing Stay – Would Strongly Advise Against Booking
I traveled to Festus for a car show and needed a budget-friendly hotel near local amenities. While this property met that basic requirement, nearly every other aspect of my stay was a disappointment—and at times, unacceptable.
To start, the hotel was unbearably hot inside. There was no functioning indoor air conditioning, and the common areas remained well above 80 degrees throughout my stay. Check-in was quick, but the front desk staff seemed unfamiliar with the facility—unable to even direct me to the pool, which I never located due to the complete lack of signage.
The complimentary breakfast was, frankly, insulting. The food options were minimal and unappetizing—particularly the English muffins, which were so hard they could double as hockey pucks. The oppressive heat made it nearly impossible to sit and eat in the dining area anyway.
My room, while clean, was far from comfortable. The mattress was extremely hard—comparable to sleeping on bare concrete—and the cramped toilet and shower area offered no room to move. Several cockroaches were spotted both in my room and in common areas, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance.
While I understand the hotel is currently under construction and the staff I interacted with were courteous, that alone cannot excuse the overall experience. The current conditions are simply not acceptable for paying guests.
I had high hopes for this location but left deeply disappointed. Unless you have absolutely no other options within your budget, or until after renovations are fully completed (well beyond 2025), I strongly advise against staying here. I will not be returning.
PParker’s7585Hotel was great and clean and beautiful. I was to early for my room and I was exhausted from traveling and they managed to get me in my room very fast.. thank you front desk.. housekeeping did a lovely job on 518. Not one thing was wrong and I am picky. On the other hand, I do smoke and I went outside to sit in my vehicle and smoke late in the night and was harassed and attacked verbally by a gentleman claiming to be a police officer. Very hateful and rude and disrespectful. I was parked inside the gated lot. And was approached with rude questions and insulting tones like me and my husband were criminals. And because I stood up for myself and refused to back down and answer private questions about where I was staying and what room,to someone off duty with no badge, he was trying to get me kicked out if my room in the middle of the night. The police officer on duty help resolve the situation and I went to my room. But it was a very bad moment all because we couldn’t sleep and was having a conversation in our vehicle inside the gated parking for the crown plaza.. shame on the man for being rude and thanks to the officer that handled things well. Maybe should get that guy outta that line of work. But I would stay again hands down cause the hotel was great.. and staff was amazing.. thank you crown plaza
GGuest UserThe room itself was a masterclass in modern design, balancing aesthetic appeal with practical comfort. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided a stunning view of the skyline, while the high-quality linens and soundproofing ensured a peaceful night's sleep despite the central location. Small touches, like a locally sourced snack basket and a high-end espresso machine, added a layer of luxury that is often missing from larger chains.
The amenities were equally impressive. The rooftop terrace served as a perfect evening retreat, featuring a curated selection of beverages and a relaxed atmosphere. For those looking to stay active, the fitness center was well-maintained with a variety of equipment. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, offering a diverse spread of fresh, seasonal options that catered to various tastes, including several thoughtful plant-based and gluten-free choices.
What truly stood out, however, was the level of service. Every interaction felt genuine and personalized, with the concierge providing excellent recommendations for nearby galleries and dining spots that weren't just the typical tourist traps. It is rare to find a hotel that manages to feel both sophisticated and genuinely hospitable. For anyone planning a trip, whether for business or leisure, this property offers an exceptional blend of style, comfort, and top-tier service.
MM8206****Similar to a hotel-style apartment, it is fully equipped with microwave ovens, induction cookers, toasters, tableware, etc. in the room. It is very suitable for long-term living. The hotel has a laundry room, a free swimming pool and a gym. The service staff are enthusiastic.
AAnonymous UserGood value for money, with a rich breakfast, and the facilities and cleanliness are all quite good. A special thanks for letting me check in two hours early for free, it was quite cold that day, so a big shout-out to the kind Black lady at the front desk. The area used to be a Black community and is about a 10-minute walk from the subway station.
