Restaurants and night markets are plentiful nearby, and a taxi ride to the airport takes about 13 minutes. 2. **Amenities & Experience:** Most modern rooms feature private balconies with city or harbor views. The free Wi-Fi is stable, and the outdoor pool is comfortable. The Bushfire Flame Grill Brazilian BBQ has a great reputation (breakfast/dinner are extra). Paid parking is limited, and street-facing rooms occasionally experience noise. 3. **Service:** There's a 24-hour front desk with multi-lingual staff who can assist with booking Great Barrier Reef/rainforest excursions. Luggage storage is seamless. 4. **Drawbacks:** Parking can be tight during peak season, some bathrooms are a bit dated, and breakfast isn't particularly cheap.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Stay! We stayed in the 2 Bed Family Villa at Chinchilla Motor Inn and couldn’t have been happier. The villa was modern, spotless, and very comfortable — everything felt fresh and well maintained. The location is excellent, convenient yet quiet, making it perfect for families. What truly impressed us, though, was the amazing service. Our daughter accidentally left her beloved Kindle behind, and the staff went above and beyond to help. They carefully packed it in a bubble-wrap envelope and posted it back to us free of charge, even though we offered to cover the cost and their time. It arrived safely, and we’re so grateful for their kindness and honesty. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. We’d highly recommend Chinchilla Motor Inn to anyone — fantastic facilities and even better people!

Reception lady was so good and we arrived early so she asked us to leave our luggages in a store room and she explained everything in a professional manner .Room was spacious and near to airport and WiFi was working but 2 feedback I want to give please renovate bathroom and when I entered I can felt the sewerage smell comes from the toilet.I sprayed perfume and Room freshener but still strong odour came from toilet. And then sink hot water tap made so much noise so we used only hot water tap and we can gear all conversation from next room and it was noisy

I want to give a special shout-out to the front desk staff, who were incredibly patient. My English isn't great, but they were so helpful in resolving my issues! Especially a guy from Hong Kong who even helped me translate the restaurant menu! Also, the restaurant's head chef, KK, is Chinese, and he specially prepared a pizza and fruit yogurt salad that suited our palate – generous portions and very fresh fruit! Super nice! The only downside is that the airport shuttle bus costs $8 per person and takes about 30 minutes, which isn't ideal. A taxi is also quite expensive at $20.

I found staying at this hotel at this particular time to be excellent value for money. The location is superb, right behind a casino. It appears to be associated with the Star Hotel group. This hotel is genuinely a historical landmark; I heard it was originally a treasury vault before being converted into a hotel. Both the room's design aesthetic and even the elevators are very unique. A huge plus for me was that when I arrived at 10 AM to drop off my luggage, the front desk staff said our room was ready, allowing us to check in early – what a fantastic surprise! Our room was spacious with high ceilings, and despite its visible history, it was impeccably clean. You could truly call it a work of art, reportedly 200 years old.

The website said check-in was fine until 24:00, but when I arrived at 23:00, the check-in counter was closed. I managed to catch someone from reception about 5 minutes later, but it was a bit of a hassle. To top it off, the bed I was assigned had already been used, and I had to get it changed.

The hotel was ok but looking a little dated and grubby. The whole place needs a deep clean which would make a great improvement. I had a problem with my TV remote not working. I popped down to reception and the very nice lady at reception swapped out the batteries but it still did not work!

It was great stay. Clean room, quiet, peaceful ambiance plus the beach itself. Professional staff. In short we love it ❤️

Overall, the place is nice; it feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle, it’s quiet, and you can tell it’s cleaned regularly (the kitchen was the only area that was quite dirty, but that’s more down to the guests). The single bunk room is a bit uncomfortable: very little space, a very narrow and short bed, only a couple of hooks for clothes, and just one ceiling light (they could, for example, add a small bedside light).

Accomodating receptionist, beautiful, clean room with a lovely view of the pool. Fantastic facilities and great coffee in the Gin bar. Delicious breakfast on the 19th floor with amazing views. Central to Broadbeach, Pacific Fair, Casino and public transport. Perfect and memorable stay.
