DDabaogejiadejiejieThe hotel's facilities are a bit old, but it's very clean, especially the sheets and bedding. There's also a balcony, which is great for drying clothes. The two staff members at the front desk, Sophie and her colleague (I'm sorry, I can't remember the other name!), were incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. They patiently answered all our questions. The hotel's location is excellent; it's within a ten-minute walk to the museum, Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, the market, the water village jetty, and the bus terminal. Taxis are very scarce in this country, so being close to public transport is a huge advantage. To the left of the hotel is a supermarket, and to the right is a restaurant with affordable food. A big thank you to the hotel for the free airport transfer and the helpful tour map. My main purpose for this trip was to photograph proboscis monkeys, and the jetty offers convenient speedboat access to the Brunei River mangroves.

JJack JMplease help me to write a hotel review. The hotel is nice, its have supermarket nearby. But parking also nice just the space a little bit small for you to park your car. but it is very convenient to bring your luggage direct to your room. the room is clean and tidy, just the light is quite dim. and the car from outside the road is quite bising since the room is at the corner near to the vamp. The swimming pool is nice but dont have the children pool. The breakfast is okay and have many delicacies which like malaysia also. Maybe ,next time i will consider to stay here again . thank for the stay. Here’s a smoother, more natural version of your hotel review: I had a pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The location is very convenient, with a supermarket nearby, which made it easy to get anything we needed. The parking is available and convenient, although the spaces are a bit small, so it might be slightly challenging for larger cars. However, I really liked that it was easy to bring luggage directly from the parking area to the room. The room itself was clean and tidy, which I appreciated. The only downside was that the lighting was quite dim, making the room feel a bit less bright than expected. Also, since our room was located at the corner near the ramp, there was some noise from cars on the road, especially at night. The swimming pool was nice and well-maintained, but it would be even better if there were a separate pool for children. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of dishes, many of which are similar to Malaysian cuisine, so it felt quite familiar. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I would consider staying here again in the future. Thank you for the hospitality!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located quite far from the city center, but it does provide a free shuttle service to and from the airport. It is also not very close to the sea; however, this is not a major issue since swimming is prohibited at the nearby beaches anyway. Additionally, there are no cafes or shops within walking distance of the hotel, which makes the location even less convenient. The prices at the hotel’s cafe are overpriced. The hotel’s design feels somewhat outdated, but nothing critical. What was truly disappointing, however, was the service. The hotel presents itself as a 4-star property, yet it is surprisingly strict about a very basic necessity — drinking water. Guests are provided with only one bottle of water per person per day. There is coffee and tea available in the room, but to boil the kettle you need additional drinking water, which the staff refused to provide. They insisted that water had already been supplied during housekeeping and that no more was allowed. We had to keep asking for it as if they were personally paying for it themselves. That was extremely unpleasant. The tap water is yellow, and there were also issues with the hot water. Only one person works at the reception desk, which is clearly insufficient for a hotel with this many rooms, resulting in long waiting times. The reception staff are not knowledgeable about nearby attractions and do not assist with arranging tours, suggesting that guests find everything out on their own. Unfortunately, the overall service was extremely disappointing.

OOng HartonoThis hotel is exceptionally good. From the reception staff to the drivers and cleaners, everyone provides warm and genuine hospitality. They are all very friendly and speak good English, which makes everything easy and comfortable. The hotel offers a free airport pick-up and drop-off service…you simply inform the receptionist of your arrival and departure times. This is extremely convenient. In addition, the hotel provides very affordable tours, costing only 5 BND, covering five nice places using the hotel’s own car. This is far better than traveling independently, as public transportation in Brunei can be quite challenging. Breakfast is simple and standard, but perfectly acceptable. Overall, I truly love Brunei and this hotel. I will definitely come back again.

AAnonymous UserAs one of the newer hotels in Brunei, it's super convenient with a variety of restaurants right downstairs. The biggest night market in Brunei is also just a 5-minute drive away. The rooftop pool has water park facilities and offers stunning sunset views, and you can even see the national mosque from there.

CCassia FooThe reception lady was lovely and professional. She verified all the required details promptly and, shared some useful information within the hotel and nearby attractions. The room is pretty standard, comes with the necessary in-room amenities and the air-conditioning was NICE. The environment was pretty neat, no loud noises from the street nor from the air-conditioning. Location of the hotel is ideal. It is near some of the main attractions, while furtherest is about a 15 minutes car ride. Breakfast buffet (at an additional fee) is alright, mainly international cuisine. Tried their in-house restaurant and in-room dining. Food was delicious and affordable. All of the staffs I have came across and interacted were extremely friendly and positive. Nothing much to be picky for this hotel.

AAnonymous UserThe location is fantastic. Even during Ramadan, they prepared breakfast for us. And not just in the room, but we could eat as much as we wanted at the 7th-floor buffet. Thank you! The room is spacious. There are so many light switches that it's hard to figure out which one controls what. There was a kitchen, but it wasn't usable – no pots, pans, plates, or spoons. There's an electric kettle, two complimentary bottles of water, and a fridge. The staff are very kind. I appreciate having a bathtub, and the hot water works. My biggest complaint is that even with the AC turned off, it was still cold. Maintenance came to the room multiple times, but it remained chilly. The pool is a good size, and there's a gym too. A supermarket is conveniently connected next door, along with cafes. Across the road is the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, and it seems to be owned by the same group. Postcards can be found at the Ritz-Carlton gift shop. The hotel front desk offered a service where, for $1 per card, they would go to the post office, buy stamps, and mail them for you – very helpful! A ride to the airport was about $10 via a ride-hailing app. The place has a retro vibe. There were koi fish in the lobby. The biggest issue is the no-smoking policy; you can't smoke outside, in your room, or anywhere on the premises. Apparently, this isn't due to Ramadan but is a Brunei rule.
