MMatthew040310Had a lovely stay at Scenic Hotel Marlborough to end off our trip in New Zealand. The hotel room was much bigger than our previous hotel stays, where we could comfortably open both our large-sized luggage to repack. Apart from the spacious rooms, we love how clean the toilets were and how tidy our rooms are done up by room service each time we return from our day out. The stand out however, was the service provided to us by the staff. We arrived around midnight as we had a long drive from Fox Glacier to get here but the staff was ever ready to receive us, and even gave us recommendations on what to visit around Marlborough during our stay. During our stay, there were occasions where we opted to buy food back to enjoy in our hotel room and the room service was readily available to provide us whatever we needed to have a lovely meal in, including plates, wine glasses and even condiments. Highly recommended!!

GGuest UserAn excellent boutique experience. Sennen House has a story to tell, and it’s a beautiful place to discover it. Set in a quiet location, its grounds are fantastic, utilising every piece of space cleverly; the welcoming croquet set was a taste of what was to come.
The room we stayed in was great. Nice views and good spaces. Having a separate living and dining area is always a bonus, but its well appointed kitchen with a coffee machine was an extra one! The little baking treats left each day were lovely touches and were enjoyed. It was lovely to organise and portion out our own breakfast each morning, and having ownership of this was a bonus.
If we are lucky enough to visit Picton again, we would definitely make this venue our first choice.

EErma from CanadaPrivately owned, friendly owners. The room was roomy and clean. There is a sitting area out the back patio doors which was good. The outdoor furniture is a bit older. The bed and linens were good for a 2 night stay. We just needed a place to stay while we toured the area. Havelock where the postal boat tour is just a 35 minute drive away. There is a Countdown grocery store right across the street which was convenient. There are no restaurants within walking distance.

GGuest UserThe place is not far from the town centre, just around 20 mins walk. The reception is nice and welcoming. The room is spacious. It can be a bit cold at night but the heater works well. The room’s sound proof isn’t very great. I can hear people next door close and open their room door. The kitchen area is supposed to open at 7am, but it was not when I left at around 7:30am, so it’s worth double checking the time with the reception.

切切尔西的飞虎74This motel is near to the ferry terminal,very convenient.the room is big and clean,face to the Main Street-High Way.There are two supermarkets near to the motel,it is easy to buy fruits,vegetables and drinks.I will choose it again.by the way,Picton is very small,but it is so beautiful and quiet.

GGuest UserI loved it here! I was a single traveler, and this was by far the best stay of my 2 weeks in New Zealand. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and had a kitchenette. I tend to over do the adventure on my vacations, but this was my most chill morning on the trip. The staff is friendly, and as crazy as it sounds, the breakfast was worth it! I wish I could have stayed here on the return trip.

VVinceDlGreat location near picton port . We Book a standard cabin . No kitchen or bathroom . Just a cabin with a bed . Just check twice before booking cause its not clear in description and pictures of the room are not good one. By the way common kitchen and shared bathroom was very clean. Staff nice also.

大大王来巡山Since we were not in a rush, we decided to stay in Picton for one night before leaving.
The town is not big but very clean and beautiful. I booked the hotel late, so there were not many options. I chose Beachcomber because the reviews were good.
From the train station, follow the navigation and you will arrive in a short time. The front desk staff is a lady, very friendly. We were supposed to check in after 2 pm, but we were arranged in advance. The door is retro and uses a key, which is quite nostalgic.
The room is very clean and better than I expected. You can see the beach not far away from the balcony. The distance is not far or near, and you will not be noisy by the bar at night. If the weather is good, sit on the small balcony and chat with the neighbors. It is quite convenient to go to the beach, restaurant and boat.

Originally booked for 2 nights, but due to the weather the day before, the whale watching trip in kaikoura was postponed, canceled for one night, and the phone and hotel discussions were also very happy to promise to change one night.

SShiguangjianyingThe location of the hotel is very good. The balcony of the room has a direct view of the ferry and yacht harbor. The scenery is very good. The room is clean. The lady at the reception is very friendly and answers all questions. Parking is convenient, but the room facilities are a bit outdated.
