The room facilities are complete and spacious enough, and the bedding is very clean and odor-free. The service is warm and attentive! The breakfast is plentiful, and every dish is worth trying. Unlike other star hotels where the food is bland, the dishes here taste absolutely amazing! The hot spring area deserves a huge thumbs-up; there are all sorts of pools, and the water quality is top-notch. There are outdoor pools of various sizes, and there's even a pool where you can swim. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, I definitely have to stay here again.

This was my second stay at a Wanda property. Because hotel prices were much higher than usual at Wanda during Chinese New Year, I opted for the Sheraton instead, even though two nights still cost nearly 7,000 RMB. But to my surprise, I was disappointed in every aspect… Firstly, on February 16th, as soon as I entered the lobby, I saw guests arguing with hotel staff. I wasn't sure about the specific reason, but I already had a bad feeling. Secondly, February 16th was Chinese New Year's Eve. My family of three was watching the Spring Festival Gala in the room, and when we tried to pull down the shower curtain, it was broken. After reporting it, we found that even when the curtain was down, it was still see-through… I nearly fainted! This might be okay for couples, but if you're traveling with friends or family with kids, wouldn't that be incredibly awkward? Then, when we were ready to sleep that night, we discovered an issue with the toilet – there was a constant dripping sound, which was driving me crazy. It was Chinese New Year and the middle of the night, so I decided to deal with it the next day. I communicated with the hotel concierge in the morning but never heard back about a resolution. After breakfast, I had to speak to the front desk myself to get a room change… It was a huge hassle, moving from one end of the hotel to the other (a very long walk, dragging suitcases for 10 minutes, and taking two different elevators). The most ridiculous part was that this concierge, after we checked in, enthusiastically recommended various paid activities to us, and we even booked some through him… Ha! During Chinese New Year, I didn't want to ruin our trip or make things difficult for the staff who were still working. So, I tried to keep my negative emotions to myself. However, an old, established hotel, even if it's been open for a long time, isn't excused from all problems. Proper equipment maintenance and staff quality training are just basic operational necessities, aren't they? If they only think about making money from customers' pockets without any sincerity, how far can they really go?

The price is cheap. Affordable. The place is small, and some people say showering can soak the toilet paper. I solved that problem with a plastic bag. The internet was sometimes slow, as it's a small hotel, so we couldn't take advantage of shared data. Each floor has its own WiFi, so if other people are using it, your speed will fluctuate, sometimes even slow, and sometimes even slow. I spent ages updating my computer software, but it still timed out.

The hotel is very close to the ski resort, within walking distance or a short shuttle ride. The shuttle service is super convenient, departing as soon as you arrive and getting you to the slopes in just 2 minutes. The hotel itself is warm, clean, and has a cozy atmosphere – you can comfortably wear a T-shirt indoors. All the staff are enthusiastic and attentive. Finally, I also want to give a shout-out to Li Honglei, the front desk clerk, who was also very considerate when I checked out today! All in all, if you're going to choose this hotel, go for it! I highly recommend the Wanda Jin Hua Suite Hotel in Changbaishan. The rooms are spacious and bright with a sensible layout. The underfloor heating is excellent, making for a very comfortable stay, especially for two mothers traveling with two children. The hotel is located in the heart of the resort area, within walking distance of the ski resort and the commercial street, which was incredibly convenient since our trip was primarily for skiing. The biggest plus was the service from our butler, Kitty. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help. From check-in to check-out, she provided thoughtful care throughout our stay, proactively reminding us about the weather, our itinerary, and how to utilize hotel benefits. Any request we had was met with a quick response; she truly paid attention to every detail. Because of Kitty, this trip was even more perfect, and she absolutely deserves a five-star rating!
