During the New Year's Day holiday, the hotel was swarming with guests. We arrived at 1 PM but couldn't check into our room until 3:30 PM. They initially said the room wasn't ready, but it turned out the direct drinking water system was broken, and maintenance staff were working on it. Even after we got into the room, it still wasn't fixed, so the hotel provided us with plenty of bottled water instead. The room facilities themselves were quite good. However, the hotel's exterior was very dirty and poorly maintained, which unfortunately detracted from the overall check-in experience. The hotel mattress was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bedding was also just right – not too thick, not too thin – so even with the air conditioning on, it felt pleasant. 👍 We went for breakfast past 8 AM and were surprised to find a very long queue. Luckily, everyone lined up in an orderly fashion. Improving service is key; while the hardware is good, the software (service) needs to be even better.

This hotel stay truly exceeded my expectations! Not only were the views from the window stunning and pleasant, but the service was also incredibly thoughtful and memorable. From the warm and attentive check-in at the front desk, to the housekeeping staff who promptly responded to requests and kept the room spotless during my stay, even the restaurant staff were meticulous, proactively recommending dishes and refilling tea and water. The entire experience was top-notch, and I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip!

The surrounding area has a good selection of restaurants and supermarkets. For this price point, it offers excellent value for money. The front desk staff were polite and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located. The services are as advertised. Staff were helpful. Mr.Ren, at the front office was exceptional with customer service. Good job to the team we had a wonderful stay. Suggestion: The ceiling panels in the restaurant needs changing/cleaning. Mould and water stains do not look good in dining area. Also not good for people with allergies.

It was much better than I expected, and the robot food delivery service was a huge plus. Ordering takeout and bringing it to the hotel was so convenient – ​​no need to bother anyone to pick it up! I never imagined a budget hotel's robots could be so helpful.

Absolutely loved the hotel's style – it felt genuinely江南 (Jiangnan) with its charming bridges, flowing water, and little shop-lined alleys. During the off-season, the hotel kindly upgraded my room, which came with a small courtyard and a little balcony overlooking the canal – truly appreciated that! The breakfast restaurant was lovely and spacious, though the coffee was quite disappointing; it tasted exactly like instant coffee with milk. Parking was absolutely no issue, with plenty of spaces both above and below ground. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a local specialty souvenir when checking out. The weather was beautiful all weekend. Every morning, walking from my courtyard to the breakfast restaurant, I'd pass through an old-fashioned street and over a bridge. Watching the traditional Wupeng boats glide by from the bridge was incredibly therapeutic. Guests could also pick up prayer plaques and incense for blessings – a nice touch! 👍

Perched right on the edge of the cliff, it features floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the entire valley the moment you sit down. We were incredibly fortunate to secure a table with the best view; the expansive vista was simply stunning. Eating breakfast while watching the clouds and mist dance through the valley was profoundly therapeutic. Breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options, ensuring you'd never get tired of it. I must especially commend the rice noodles – with three distinct toppings, each bursting with fresh, savory flavor that left me craving more! I ordered them two days in a row; the more I ate, the more I loved them 😋. 😄 **Overall Experience** If you're looking for a romantic getaway for an anniversary, or a relaxing weekend road trip within the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, this place is absolutely perfect! There's no need to meticulously plan an itinerary; the hotel itself is a 'self-contained holiday haven'. The complimentary activities alone are enough to fill a day: archery, billiards, craft-making... each one was engaging and fun. The paid activities were also reasonably priced. We tried both pottery and the spa, and highly recommend them. He even thoughtfully added us on WeChat so we could track the firing and delivery progress of our pieces at any time. He truly embodies 'delivering peace of mind'! **Archery Instructor 🏹**: He was absolutely fantastic! His instruction was very professional, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We even participated in an archery competition and surprisingly won a prize! He called immediately to inform us and personally delivered the prize to our room. That moment truly warmed our hearts~

I rang the hotel the day before to ask for directions and they were very helpful with giving advice about getting discounted the entrance ticket for us as the hotel is located within the scenic area and the ticket is also valid for the 2 days we were there for. They also added me to a WeChat group with all their staff and everyone was extremely helpful in giving advice and recommendations. One thing was that the bathroom drain is a bit small and when I was washing my hair in the shower it got blocked by the hair (I have long hair that sheds a bit) and there was a bit of mini-flood happening in the shower, though that's more the design of the shower. Bonus: cats and bunny at the reception! Would definitely stay again if I'm visiting!
