The stay was comfortable and peaceful overall. The room was quiet, which I appreciated, and I slept well during my stay. The room itself was spacious and adequate for a restful stay. However, I felt that the service could be improved, as it did not feel particularly warm or welcoming. Another disappointment was during my stay extension. As an existing guest, I would have appreciated a better rate offered directly by the hotel, instead of having to go through the full online booking process again. Breakfast is another area for improvement, both in terms of food quality and offering more local dishes rather than a largely Western spread.

The hotel offered a comfortable and pleasant stay with clean rooms, courteous staff, and prompt service. The ambiance was welcoming, and the overall experience was smooth and hassle-free. A great choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The Taj Cormandel was a fantastic hotel and stay for us on our recent trip to Chennai. We were made welcome from the minute we stepped out of the cab. All staff are very helpful and friendly but Amit from the Chipstead deserves a special mention for his outstanding customer service and welcoming manner. Rooms were large and very comfortable. Housekeeping and services were top notch, plentiful large towels and hot water, plus some housekeeping surprises we enjoyed on our stay. Breakfasts were buffet style with lots of choice and culinary types, service was very well organised and any special breakfast requests delivered to your table.   Choice of restaurants for having dinner and a lounge for drinks and cocktails.  Swimming pool with outside loungers and fitness room are on the lower ground area of the hotel. Towels provided. Would recommend a stay here.

Very poor customer service from the hospitality team, we stayed in premium room with balcony , which was a building at the end. And we booked to rooms one for myself and one for my parents. My mother can’t walk too much and I am having a 1year old daughter too. So whenever we request for buggy to go to the restaurant or the reception or the indoor game are , the staffs we ride and saying we will come in 5minutes but my mother waited for 30minutes , the next day for breakfast when we asked the staff he said it’s just a slight slope, so you can walk through these rear stairs, which felt me very disappointed and especially a brand like sterling should look into this and when I called reception for the hot water, they said they will send it but I didn’t get. So the next day we booked GRT Kodaika Al, which was really good and especially the team, because we are actually coming for an holiday with our family, and when the hospitality team ruins it, we never trust such hotel chain brands.

The front office is friendly. Fast check is in check.. Security was good with Siraj, very attentive to checking, felt safe. Breakfast was not too bad, can be better. The egg specials were very good. Housekeeping guys were polite and good at their work, too. Besides that, they have kept the rooms very clean and tidy. They provide water in refill bottles, like their sustainability efforts around the hotel. With construction nearby, the room remained silent. In room dining is tasty. Tours can be arranged for a good price. Value for money. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

The resort is situated at a peninsula of the lake, with stunning views of the Kalimalai. The premises have well kept vegetation including tamarai and utpala. Morning and evening walks are extremely enjoyable and serene. They also have a lot of activities in the resort, ensuring one will never get bored. The staff are always ready to help. I enjoyed their company and guided tours a lot. The restaurant provides really nice local cuisine and clean vegetarian specialties for every meal. The room in a cottage was prepared thoughtfully either very nice amenities. Individualized cottage also gave a sense of privacy and great views towards the lake undisturbed.

Koox Rooftop bar located at the terrace is a premier dining experience for any Japanese or Thai cuisine aficionados, the evening vibes had us coming back for more. A special mention to the Food Exchange Buffet Restaurant on the 1st Floor, Chef de Partie Amit and Restaurant Manager Nisarg went above and beyond to cater for every request at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel environment is very good, there are peacocks to see. It's just that there is a problem with management. After I swiped my credit card, it was stolen.
