I had a 16-hour layover in Qingdao, so I decided to check out hotels near the airport. I ended up booking the Bangchen Hotel at the terminal, but when I arrived, I was upgraded to the Junting Hotel – they seem to be under the same ownership! To get there from the airport's arrival level, you take the elevator to departure level A. There's a special passage next to the meeting point, and then you just follow the signs. It's super convenient and you don't have to worry about the weather! The hotel lobby is very grand, and the room was quite spacious. I particularly liked the beautiful sink in the bathroom! Even though it's right next to the airport, there was virtually no noise, which was great! The only issue was that my room was right by the elevator, which is why I gave a lower service rating. I'd suggest that when the hotel isn't busy, they avoid assigning guests rooms next to the elevator. After all, many guests stay here for early morning flights, so the sound of doors closing and people talking in the elevator area can be quite noisy and disturb sleep.

Overall, it's a standard five-star hotel, decent but nothing extraordinary – no major downsides, but no 'wow' factor either. Its main selling point is its affordability and reliability. 💰 **Incredible Value for Money** Seriously, the value is unbeatable. Around 400 RMB a night, and with breakfast, it's about 500 RMB. Staying in a five-star hotel for about 250 RMB per person? That's an amazing deal for Yantai. If you're on a budget but still want a star-rated hotel, this is a no-brainer. 📍 **Super Convenient Location** It's right across from Suochengli, so you can explore on foot. Getting a taxi to anywhere else is also easy, making it super convenient for tourists. 🛏️ **Hardware is Spot-On** The bedding and bathrooms are up to par. All the hardware you'd expect from a five-star hotel meets the standards, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromise. 🍞 **Breakfast is Standard Fare** They have everything you'd expect from a typical five-star breakfast. You'll eat well and be full, just don't expect anything mind-blowing. 💁‍♀️ **Service is Neither Good Nor Bad** Basic services are fine; the check-in process goes smoothly. However, the efficiency is average, and there are no thoughtful little surprises – it's just very ordinary. ❌ **Two Minor Gripes I Must Mention** 1. The room lighting is too dim. It's not 'mood lighting'; it's genuinely hard to see. It's just too dark. 2. The TV doesn't support screen mirroring. The facilities feel a bit dated. Don't just rely on past glory; a little modernization would be nice. 👫 **Who is this hotel suitable for?** - Traveling with friends or parents. - Those who spend most of their time exploring and dining out, not looking to lounge at the hotel or seeking extreme service. - Anyone who wants to stay in a five-star hotel, save money, and prioritizes value for money. ✅ **Summary:** For value for money, this is definitely a top choice in Yantai. A five-star with breakfast for around 500 RMB is an absolute steal. If you're looking for attentive service or trendy facilities, you might want to consider other options.

The hotel lobby is on the 7th floor, which I found quite inconvenient. The cleanliness was good. The service was a mixed bag: the staff in the ground floor lobby were pretty average, but the staff on the 7th-floor main lobby were excellent. I drove here, and their underground parking is a nightmare. You have to drive your car onto a metal lift structure, which was really unpleasant, especially since the hotel lobby is already on the 7th floor, making it even more of a hassle. The location itself is great. My room had an interior-facing window, so when I opened the curtains, all I could see was the hotel lobby – no view at all, and it was incredibly hot. The air conditioning just blew out more hot air, which was really uncomfortable. The breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options and good service. The location is excellent. However, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're driving, due to traffic and difficult parking. Everything else was fine.

Booked an Executive King room, but since it wasn't available, the front desk attendant kindly upgraded me to an apartment suite. What more could I ask for? Seriously, nothing but praise. The Executive Lounge's Happy Hour offers plenty of food; if you really try, you can certainly fill up. Normally, no one mixes drinks there, but I insisted and they made me a Gin and Tonic. A little later, I went back for another, jokingly asking if a Gin and Tonic was really that challenging. They relented and concocted a passionfruit-infused drink with tonic – I forget what liquor was in it – but it was sweet and quite delicious. They truly made something out of nothing, as all the colored syrups were gone. So grateful, truly grateful. From the living room, you get a panoramic, unobstructed view of Quancheng Square, and you can see the Guohua InterContinental across the way. I specifically checked at night, and thankfully, no one was flying drones, which is a HUGE plus. Breakfast had a decent variety, pretty standard. Besides their special omelet-wrapped everything, I highly recommend 'Bazi Rou' (braised pork) when you're in Jinan. The presentation is plain, even uglier than what you'd find at Chaoyixing, and it comes in small pieces, but the flavor is spot on – absolutely delicious. In the suite, they provided a bunch of random samples – all the toiletries were miniatures. I looked them up and they were Acqua di Parma. I didn't recognize the brand, so I just took them all home. Before leaving, I even called housekeeping to request another set. We Shangri-La members are basically beggars, after all. The pool was also excellent – clean and not crowded. Swimming next to the 'Eye of Quancheng' really is a unique experience. The sauna and steam rooms were also well-maintained. Right across from the hotel is Jinan's traditional CBD (though there's a proper, newer CBD now, quite far away). I recommend crossing through the Hang Lung Plaza opposite, and just a short walk away, you'll find Yanxi Tang, whose scallion oil carp was unexpectedly delicious. Finally, I'd like to give a special shout-out to two staff members: Niki at the front desk and He Mengyao at the lounge. Thanks to their professional service, our trip concluded perfectly. We will definitely be back.

The room was spacious and quiet, and the environment was clean, typical of an established five-star hotel. I woke up early and went for a swim in the pool; it's 25x10 meters, with excellent water quality and a comfortable temperature. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. Perhaps due to the Spring Festival, it was extremely crowded, but the management was well-organized, with staff guiding guests to tables. I wanted to take two eggs for my child who was still sleeping in and asked a staff member for a takeaway box, but they didn't provide one, stating that my booking only included one breakfast and take-away wasn't allowed. I must have overlooked this when booking, so I can't blame them. There was ample parking, though it's quite deep, on level B4. The MixC shopping mall and May Fourth Square are just a convenient 10-minute walk away.

Facilities: The hotel is fully equipped with everything from a restaurant to a gym. Hygiene: It's clean and hygienic. The lobby is spotless, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows are stunning. Environment: As a sea-view hotel, the environment is exceptional – you can even watch the sunrise! Service: The service is also excellent. A butler contacted me via WeChat before check-in, which was very thoughtful.

Our stay at Hai Tian Qing Dao was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Rose’s team delivered exceptional service with a warm welcome that made us feel right at home. My stay at Shangri-La Qingdao was incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect, right in Shinan District, next to MixC City, which made shopping super convenient. It's also very close to May Fourth Square, about a 10-minute walk. The location truly can't be beaten! The hotel is much more beautiful than I imagined, with a well-maintained, elegant, and clean vintage style. The facilities are excellent, including a gym, swimming pool, and tennis courts. A big thank you to Rina, who recommended so many great sightseeing spots and even gave me a small gift upon check-out. The recommended spots were very close to the Municipal Government and May Fourth Square. I was extremely satisfied with both the location and the environment – it's a truly reliable choice. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Qingdao.

Great stay at the Pullman, only for one night but could have stayed many more, excellent service from all staff. Highly recommend!

Dongying Wanda Realm hotel is very comfortable and the best I have stayed in Dongying. Spacious, quality rooms, very clean with excellent facilities, particularly the pool and gym, and with very attentive, pleasant and helpful staff, especially Andrew who has provided excellent assistance over my many stays. Highly recommended for short or long stays as the go-to hotel in Dongying.
