My trip to Luxor was fantastic, largely thanks to this hotel. Located on the east bank of the Nile, it's not super close to the city center, requiring a taxi, which contributes to its peaceful ambiance. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the public areas and gardens are beautifully maintained. The main restaurant and pool face directly onto the Nile, offering stunning views of hot air balloons rising over the West Bank in the mornings and breathtaking Nile sunsets in the evenings. My city-view room had a balcony overlooking the lobby garden. While the room's facilities were quite retro, the lighting dim, and the AC a bit noisy, the bed was large and incredibly comfortable. The bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak, and bottled water was replenished daily (though you have to ask for toiletries). Overall, the service was excellent. Staff were proactive in helping with luggage, and getting a taxi was incredibly convenient – just register the license plate at the front desk for access through the gate. Finally, a special thank you to Walid. My suitcase was damaged, and Mr. Walid proactively came to my room with tools to help repair it, all while engaging in a friendly chat. His warm and attentive service was deeply appreciated, as was the service from every staff member at Steigenberger. Luxor is a beautiful place. Visiting its magnificent sites and meeting such kind people made me incredibly nostalgic. I will definitely be back.

Environment: Luxor West Bank is very cute and beautiful country villa, like a paradise, not far from the ferry terminal, may be more convenient for self-driving. There are beautiful murals and wall lights in the room Service: The waiters are very enthusiastic, there is an old grandfather who is very good in English, the service is very meticulous and thoughtful, we bought watermelon in the market and he helped us squeeze juice for free. Later, he learned that he had worked in this hotel for 17 years. Hygienic: very clean, the tile floor in the public area is bright and reflective, the sheets in the room are not ball-free, the towels are fluffy and clean, the water is a bit slow, but the impact is not big Very nice hotel, we stayed for a total of four nights, and we can fight for $30 a night with the boss at the front desk. In the chat, I learned that this hotel was originally run by a pair of German wives and Egyptian husbands. In recent years, the boss took over. It is still operating with care. I recommend it to everyone. I also hope that the boss will continue to provide good service.

The hotel feels a bit dated, but it definitely lives up to its five-star standard. The location is super convenient for getting around. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! Breakfast was nothing special, and not particularly cheap either.

This is a very nice hotel located centrally in Luxor and only a very short distance from sites such as Luxor Temple. The room and facilities were lovely, and all the staff members were excellent and could not do enough for you. We love the pool area and the views to the Nile were stunning. Restaurants were good, we tried them all. Superb hotel

A beautiful and sprawling property with interesting architecture. Approach to the hotel is possible either by car or boat. Service from the entire team was fantastic! Special thanks to Marina who was truly professional and extremely responsive. She helped to arrange tours and transfers at reasonable rates.

Every service staff is very nice, but it is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. The transportation here is very inconvenient. This homestay is in a desolate village. I was very scared on the way to the taxi. There was nothing around. I wanted to take a taxi to the port to take a boat, but no one took the order. I had to walk out. Many local villagers asked me along the way, but I didn't dare to talk to them. It was obviously different to take a boat to the East Bank. It was also very inconvenient to take a taxi back after the sun set at 5 o'clock. Many drivers were unwilling to cross the bridge and asked for a very high price. It is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. You need to go back very early, but in fact, the Nile River in Luxor is very lively at 11 o'clock at night

Joie Ville was wonderful. Our Nile View room could not have been better located stunning views. We opted for half board and the buffet evening meal and breakfast had plenty of options and was of good quality. We also ate from the pool bar and bought drinks - exceptional prices for everything. The ability to call for a golf cart to collect you and take you around the large estate was a welcome addition in the August heat. We are already planning another Luxor trip and wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

The hotel has a small courtyard, garden, swimming pool in the yard, the room is also very large, the garden can be seen on the balcony, and the balcony is very comfortable. Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast configured by the head, which is also ok. The boss will ask you what time to eat tomorrow morning the night before? The restaurant brother will wait at the agreed time. I stayed there for five days. In short, it is not bad, except for the poor Wi-Fi signal, the socket is two round holes, and it is very loose, many can not be used, breakfast is less than European and American cucumber, tomato, others are fine. Outside the courtyard is two worlds. The road at the door is not hardened. It is a main street for a few minutes. There are some snacks, a small fruit shop, and a sugarcane juice is very good. You can go to the pier to take a boat to the east bank, the main center is the east bank. Short stay is not recommended, after all, carrying luggage is quite tossing, time is sufficient, there is not much demand for Wi-Fi. You can rest here!

This prime located Hotel situated on the West Bank of Luxor offers friendly and clean accomodation. The local 24 hour ferry to the east bank is a 5 minute walk away. Bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with T.V and selection of channels. Quieter bedrooms are over looking the delightful swimming pools with bathing towels provided. Breakfast is contintental style served on the rooftop Restaurant.I paid Egp 300 each for breakfast. Lunches and Dinners are served in the Restaurant also. An extenstive fresh Menu is offered at good prices. All the staff are very friendly and the Hotel offers excellent priced accomodation. The Hotel owners made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend this Hotel and have no hesitation in staying again.

Location was great. Luxor temple, the bazaar and good restaurants all in walking distance. Breakfast was the best I've had in Egypt so far. It was nice sitting outside eating and looking at the Nile River. Room was good. I didn't like the hairdryer. It was basically useless as it'd take the entire night to dry your hair. Room was quiet, clean and bed was good. Overall a great stay. Would definitely stay there again.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be generally pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with basic amenities that made the stay convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful when asked for guidance or information. The location was decent—close enough to local attractions and restaurants, though not in a particularly lively area. Breakfast was included, and while it had a reasonable variety, the quality was average and not particularly memorable. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a comfortable place to sleep without expecting anything luxurious. Good value for the price, but don’t expect extra frills.

TterentiusThis is a decent, economically priced hotel. The key benefit of this hotel is its location - along the Nile corniche, and walking distance from the Luxor temple, Luxor museum, the ”souq” or tourist / souvenir market, and various shops and restaurants. Rooms are a little dated though very clean. There is also a pool, gym, and spa, all the modern creature comforts you need from a hotel (I did not use these facilities so cannot comment). Staff are generally friendly and ready to help. Breakfast is also very good - a very wide spread with hot foods (think hard boiled eggs, sausages, grilled tomatoes and the likes), a whole selection of pastries which were fresh, an egg station, salad bar, fruits, yoghurt etc. They even start breakfast at 5.30am for those who need an early start touring. No toothbrush/ toothpaste provided (this seems to be the norm in Egypt), no razor available even on request.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is about 500 meters from Luxor Temple, making it very convenient for transportation. It's close to attractions on both the East and West Banks. You can take the local Nile ferry between the banks for 25 EGP one way. The East Bank ferry terminal is about 1 km walk from the hotel. The room is quite spacious and kept clean with all the necessary amenities. The area outside the hotel is lively with many dining options. The front desk staff speak English well.

MM293132****Highly recommend this hidden gem hotel in Luxor! The overall environment is clean and elegant with a super comfortable atmosphere. There are neatly arranged lounge chairs by the outdoor swimming pool, and lying on them to sunbathe in the afternoon is the perfect cure for travel fatigue. The breakfast has a mind - boggling variety of options, with hot dishes, cold cuts, desserts and freshly squeezed juices all available, kick - starting your day full of vitality. Several in - house restaurants are also outstanding, allowing you to enjoy authentic delicacies without leaving the hotel. The room details are well - thought - out. The provided safe allows you to store your personal valuables with peace of mind. The biggest surprise is the bedding—the mattress and pillows are so soft that you won’t want to get up once you lie down. A special shout - out to Yasmin at the front desk! When I arrived at the hotel, it wasn’t yet the check - in time, but she kindly helped me check in early, enabling me to drop my luggage and rest sooner. It was such a thoughtful gesture. It offers great value for money for a one - night stay. You definitely won’t regret choosing to stay here in Luxor. Truly recommended to everyone!
