The hotel is a bit far from Sannomiya Station; you need to take a few train stops to get there, but it's very close to the nearest station. The room was spacious and the hygiene conditions were decent. The service was excellent. The hotel is divided into the Main Building and the South Building. I stayed in the Main Building this time, and I felt the facilities were a bit old. There's a FamilyMart convenience store and a few other shops on the first floor, which is convenient if you need to buy anything. The bathtub isn't fully enclosed, so water splashes out when you shower.

The balcony view was truly amazing, but the hotel itself is quite old. The room we were given had no charging outlets by the bed, so we had to move the desk to charge our devices under the vanity and behind the TV. The air conditioning vent made a strange 'ticking' noise; it wasn't too bad during the day, but at night, when everything else was quiet, it became really noticeable. On the plus side, the lady at the front desk spoke excellent English. However, the shuttle service to and from Sannomiya wasn't very convenient, and the breakfast was just mediocre. I definitely won't be staying here again on my next visit to Kobe.

The hotel is quite big. It takes a big slope to get there from the station. It's too hard to pull the luggage. I wanted to call to pick up, but the store number provided by Ctrip was one digit less, so I couldn't get through. It happened that a ********* family called the station pick-up number and picked us up together. The hotel is good, the service staff is very enthusiastic, the mountain view outside the window is beautiful, and there is no one in the hot spring at night, so you can enjoy the private bath treatment. You can also open a private bath for free. Because Ctrip's phone number is wrong, I can't contact the hotel, and I didn't book dinner in advance. When I checked in, the dinner was fully booked. I wanted to find food in the town, but the better restaurants were also fully booked. Be sure to book dinner in advance during the peak tourist season.

I had a wonderful **3-night stay** at Seaside Hotel Maiko Villa Kobe. The location is beautiful, with relaxing seaside views and a stunning look at the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay, and I would gladly return and recommend this hotel to others.

The name of the great architect is worth 200, the breakfast experience is worth 100, and the rest is the room fee. So you can't expect much from the facilities in the room. It cost so much money to build it on the mountain, but the balcony of the room facing the sea is completely blocked by green plants. I don't know why.

This time, I was assigned a room on the 29th floor with a mountain view, which I think offers the most beautiful scenery! What truly impresses you about Hotel Okura isn't just the hardware (though it's excellent), but the service! That kind of 'proactive' service awareness means they've already anticipated your needs and processes before you even speak. Someone greets you at the entrance, guides you with your luggage, and the flow is crystal clear. Check-in is hassle-free, with a rhythm like a well-oiled machine, yet it never feels cold. From the moment you walk in, you can clearly feel their dedication to making guests feel at home during the often-frazzling 'arrival to room' period. The room still exudes the confidence of an old-school five-star hotel, with a comfortable sense of space and meticulous details. Especially that feeling of 'settling in comfortably' is something trendy influencer hotels can't match, even though the Okura has become quite popular itself 😝. But it still holds up to repeated stays and contemplation. The bedding, soundproofing, and cleanliness are top-tier, the kind where you can immediately relax once you're back in the room. What's even more impressive is that the Okura's excellence isn't just about one specific point, but about 'never dropping the ball.' The staff don't overdo it, but they're always there when you need them, and they never disturb you when you don't. The phrase 'subtle yet pervasive' perfectly describes this hotel. Kobe Okura doesn't make you think 'wow, it's so new and luxurious,' but rather, it shows you what the standard of a five-star hotel truly is. My only small regret is that the dessert shop is under renovation, and the previous Okura-owned supermarket has been replaced by a FamilyMart.

We rented a villa-style house with an open-air bathtub. The room was very spacious and stylishly designed. We had to walk to the hot spring in the main building at night (it was average), but we were given a coupon for the ”Jikkai no Yu” hot spring (in the same resort). This hot spring was very large and beautiful, with complete facilities, and is worth recommending.

The room type that includes brunch and dinner is very high-end. The hot springs are also good. You can take the hotel car to the main hotel to soak in it, but this place is great. There is also an oven service, which is also very good. You can also have your luggage delivered to the Osaka hotel. The cost is not high. I will stay here again if I have the chance, and I will meet Yating who can talk about noon. I will go to see you next time. I hope you are still there.

The hotel is very large, so the facilities are very much maintained. The service here is more friendly, although most waiters don't speak English, they can feel their enthusiasm. The biggest advantage here is the invincible sea view, you can see the sunrise without leaving the room.

It was my first time to experience a hot spring hotel. Overall it was very comfortable. Although it is not a new modern hotel, it was a good feeling to experience Japanese culture. There were more Japanese people staying this time. Although we were tourists, the staff entertained us very warmly. Dinner and breakfast were very rich. Although the road is a bit far from the city center, it is still worthwhile to experience this hotel. The room is very large and the scenery is great. It's so spectacular. There are small bugs in the natural environment. It is recommended not to open the windows. Everything else is impeccable. The hotel's care products are also very complete and facial masks are provided. Overall, it is highly recommended.

MMari(Marina)Excellent traditional-style pekan. I loved the service, cleanliness, convenient location, and spacious room. It was the best vacation in a long time! All the public onsen, shops, and cafes are nearby. The girl at dinner and breakfast was very attentive, explaining everything in detail, asking for clarification, and the service was beyond praise! We would be happy to return and would recommend it.

GGuest UserI'm fairly certain this hotel used to be the Daiwa Royal Hotel. I've stayed here many times before, even under its previous name, but this was my first visit since the rebranding. Considering the high price, the amenities provided were quite basic. On a positive note, the complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice touch. The most significant disappointment was the 50-minute wait for breakfast. Had this not been an issue, my stay would have been far more satisfactory. During peak times, such as the busy summer holiday season, I strongly suggest they consider expanding the breakfast area or increasing its capacity. Despite the wait, the breakfast itself was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, this lengthy delay significantly impacted our sightseeing plans for the day.

CCamilla TamI booked this place at the last minute as we wanted to extend our stay in Arima Onsen by one night and most hotels were fully-booked. I searched on *********** but couldn't find any suitable accomodation so thought to try Trip.com. This hotel came up only on this site and I was delighted to find it. At first I was concerned by the lack of reviews, but all the reviews were good and the room looked ideal for a family of four; 2 western beds and 2 tatami beds, with spacious living area and separate bathroom and toilet. It was really great value for money. The size of the room was very generous, and the facilities were great. We made use of the Onsen baths and the table tennis room during our stay. None of the staff spoke english but this wasn't an issue as they were all adept at using google translate. The location is also fine - it is situated between the town and the ropeway, so it is easy walking distance to each, which was very useful since they dont offer any shuttle service. All in all I would reccomend it for a short stay in Arima onsen as it is really good value for money.

GGuest UserThe hotel itself isn't up to par. The amenities provided are quite subpar; the toothbrush, for instance, was so rough it made my gums bleed. Right from check-in, they try to upsell you to a more expensive room. If you refuse, they deliberately assign you a low-floor room with a terrible view – I'm convinced it's intentional. So, if you want a decent experience, you're practically forced to upgrade. After upgrading, they cheerfully provide a hotel map and some greenhouse coupons. Otherwise, you just get a key and that's it. While I can't pinpoint any specific service issues, there was an overall 'off' and unsettling vibe. Even the renowned architecture nearby is poorly maintained. You can't truly appreciate the details; it only looks decent from a distance. This is quite rare in Japan, where I've always found people meticulous about maintenance. This place, however, completely overturned my expectations. Overall, it feels like quite a desolate and depressing place.

GGuest UserWe love this hotel very much. We want to try ryokan but scare to get the old and dirty one, this is the right choice for us, room was very clean, big & modern. Staffs were friendly and tried their best to communicate in English, which we appreciate it very much. It is a resort hotel, of course it has the resort fee charge like everywhere worldwide, I don't understand why some guess complain about it.
