The hotel is a bit far from Sannomiya Station; you need to take a few train stops to get there, but it's very close to the nearest station. The room was spacious and the hygiene conditions were decent. The service was excellent. The hotel is divided into the Main Building and the South Building. I stayed in the Main Building this time, and I felt the facilities were a bit old. There's a FamilyMart convenience store and a few other shops on the first floor, which is convenient if you need to buy anything. The bathtub isn't fully enclosed, so water splashes out when you shower.
The balcony view was truly amazing, but the hotel itself is quite old. The room we were given had no charging outlets by the bed, so we had to move the desk to charge our devices under the vanity and behind the TV. The air conditioning vent made a strange 'ticking' noise; it wasn't too bad during the day, but at night, when everything else was quiet, it became really noticeable.
On the plus side, the lady at the front desk spoke excellent English. However, the shuttle service to and from Sannomiya wasn't very convenient, and the breakfast was just mediocre.
I definitely won't be staying here again on my next visit to Kobe.

The hotel is quite big. It takes a big slope to get there from the station. It's too hard to pull the luggage. I wanted to call to pick up, but the store number provided by Ctrip was one digit less, so I couldn't get through. It happened that a ********* family called the station pick-up number and picked us up together.
The hotel is good, the service staff is very enthusiastic, the mountain view outside the window is beautiful, and there is no one in the hot spring at night, so you can enjoy the private bath treatment.
You can also open a private bath for free.
Because Ctrip's phone number is wrong, I can't contact the hotel, and I didn't book dinner in advance. When I checked in, the dinner was fully booked. I wanted to find food in the town, but the better restaurants were also fully booked. Be sure to book dinner in advance during the peak tourist season.
I had a wonderful **3-night stay** at Seaside Hotel Maiko Villa Kobe. The location is beautiful, with relaxing seaside views and a stunning look at the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay, and I would gladly return and recommend this hotel to others.

The name of the great architect is worth 200, the breakfast experience is worth 100, and the rest is the room fee. So you can't expect much from the facilities in the room. It cost so much money to build it on the mountain, but the balcony of the room facing the sea is completely blocked by green plants. I don't know why.
This time, I was assigned a room on the 29th floor with a mountain view, which I think offers the most beautiful scenery! What truly impresses you about Hotel Okura isn't just the hardware (though it's excellent), but the service! That kind of 'proactive' service awareness means they've already anticipated your needs and processes before you even speak. Someone greets you at the entrance, guides you with your luggage, and the flow is crystal clear. Check-in is hassle-free, with a rhythm like a well-oiled machine, yet it never feels cold. From the moment you walk in, you can clearly feel their dedication to making guests feel at home during the often-frazzling 'arrival to room' period. The room still exudes the confidence of an old-school five-star hotel, with a comfortable sense of space and meticulous details. Especially that feeling of 'settling in comfortably' is something trendy influencer hotels can't match, even though the Okura has become quite popular itself 😝. But it still holds up to repeated stays and contemplation. The bedding, soundproofing, and cleanliness are top-tier, the kind where you can immediately relax once you're back in the room. What's even more impressive is that the Okura's excellence isn't just about one specific point, but about 'never dropping the ball.' The staff don't overdo it, but they're always there when you need them, and they never disturb you when you don't. The phrase 'subtle yet pervasive' perfectly describes this hotel. Kobe Okura doesn't make you think 'wow, it's so new and luxurious,' but rather, it shows you what the standard of a five-star hotel truly is. My only small regret is that the dessert shop is under renovation, and the previous Okura-owned supermarket has been replaced by a FamilyMart.
We rented a villa-style house with an open-air bathtub. The room was very spacious and stylishly designed. We had to walk to the hot spring in the main building at night (it was average), but we were given a coupon for the ”Jikkai no Yu” hot spring (in the same resort). This hot spring was very large and beautiful, with complete facilities, and is worth recommending.

The room type that includes brunch and dinner is very high-end. The hot springs are also good. You can take the hotel car to the main hotel to soak in it, but this place is great. There is also an oven service, which is also very good. You can also have your luggage delivered to the Osaka hotel. The cost is not high. I will stay here again if I have the chance, and I will meet Yating who can talk about noon. I will go to see you next time. I hope you are still there.

The hotel is very large, so the facilities are very much maintained. The service here is more friendly, although most waiters don't speak English, they can feel their enthusiasm. The biggest advantage here is the invincible sea view, you can see the sunrise without leaving the room.
It was my first time to experience a hot spring hotel. Overall it was very comfortable. Although it is not a new modern hotel, it was a good feeling to experience Japanese culture. There were more Japanese people staying this time. Although we were tourists, the staff entertained us very warmly. Dinner and breakfast were very rich. Although the road is a bit far from the city center, it is still worthwhile to experience this hotel. The room is very large and the scenery is great. It's so spectacular. There are small bugs in the natural environment. It is recommended not to open the windows. Everything else is impeccable. The hotel's care products are also very complete and facial masks are provided. Overall, it is highly recommended.

Great
Wonderful stay. Ideal and central location in Kinosakionsen. Great and authentic food, wonderful staff, and rooms large enough to accommodate us and our luggage. Highly recommend the Ryokan
A perfect site to eat, drink, play golf and shop in Kobe. It’s close to everything and the views of the Kobe Port are just magnificent. Most important, the hotel is well managed, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast is so richly prepared that you wouldn’t be bored even staying there for one week! Will go back.
This hotel is next to the ropeway to herb garden. There is a supermarket , train station and ¥100 shop within the same building. There is a 7-11 just outside (level 1). Parking is available at 8th floor for hotel guest chargeable at ¥1500 per night. Breakfast is fantastic - their curry , omelette and smoothie are their specialty. Highly recommend to stay at this hotel .
A Beautiful hotel with beautiful sea view. The whole building is such an art piece. The staff is nice and the room is fine. The location is a bit difficult to reach if not driving. But the view and the beautiful design by Andou Tadao is worth to come at least once.
Hands down best stay so far during my 15 days in Japan and the service is really immaculate. I've been to Japan on several solo trips and this is easily one of the most memorable hotels. The staff are really nice and the hotel room view is incredible. The room they upgraded me to speaks for itself, beautiful bathroom and really good amenities. Although the hotel is situated off the mainland, there is a portliner rail service and also a complementary shuttle service to two of the main stations in Kobe city area. Really value for money.
We had a wonderful stay at Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel. The harbor view from our room was beautiful, especially in the morning, and the high-floor arrangement made it even better. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were professional and attentive, and they kindly prepared baby amenities such as a crib and bathtub, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety and a relaxed atmosphere. The location is excellent for walking around the harbor area and enjoying Kobe’s scenery. Overall, a very pleasant and reliable hotel experience that we would gladly recommend.
