While a little dated, the hotel is quite spacious and features live band performances nightly – a definite highlight. Recommended. It also offers a convenient shuttle bus service to the beach, where you'll find a Lawson convenience store.

The environment here is surprisingly good. It's well-located, very close to the port. While it's a bit of a walk to the subway station, it's manageable. The downtown waterfront beach is right next door. As for facilities, the room isn't huge, but the bed is very large and comfortable to sleep in. The best part is the hotel has a free hot spring, which you can use daily to relieve travel fatigue. The jacuzzi is excellent, and there are two pools. Although the rooftop pool costs extra, it's definitely worth a visit.

The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the monorail station. You can take the monorail directly from the airport to Asahibashi Station, which is very convenient. There's also a bus terminal nearby, making it easy to travel to the northern parts of the island. All in all, I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Okinawa.

We chose this hotel for the pool and close proximity to both the monorail and the ferry ticket office. It was ideal for this reason. The pool was nice and quiet during the day. the ferry ticket office is just 1min walk away. several convenience stores close by. We went to Naminoue beach, about 25-30min walk away - we tried the bus according google maps but the bus didnt arrive as expected. For the rest, the hotel is clean and comfortable and decent size rooms. the washing machines are busy in the evening but convenient for use. The area around the hotel I wouldnt really recommend for families - its a little rundown and had a bit of a strange vibe, not as welcoming as other parts of Japan. Still clean and seems safe, but our least favourite area during our 3 week trip.

Let's start with the pros: 1. **Excellent Location:** Just a three-minute walk to Kokusai Dori, a vibrant street packed with dining, entertainment, and shopping. 2. **Breakfast:** While not fancy, the variety of dishes is quite good, and some items change daily. 3. **Complimentary Ramen:** The restaurant offers free ramen from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, which is a really thoughtful touch. 4. **All-Day Free Drinks & Ice Cream:** After breakfast hours, they provide complimentary drinks and three flavors of ice cream all day long – a big hit with both parents and kids! 5. **Kids' Activities:** From 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM daily, there are free games, crafts, and other activities, perfect for families with children. 6. **Free Pool & Hot Spring:** You don't even need to leave the hotel to have a great time, thanks to the free swimming pool and hot spring. Now for the cons: 1. **Limited Elevators:** With only two elevators, waiting times can be quite long, especially during breakfast hours. 2. **Noisy Public Areas:** Since many families stay here with children, the public areas are constantly bustling and lively. 3. **Self-Service Dining:** After finishing your meal in the restaurant, you have to clear your own dishes and return them to a designated area, and even wipe down the table. 4. **Small Rooms:** The rooms are quite compact; it's hard to move around once you've opened two suitcases. Overall, the good far outweighs the bad. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families with children.

Pros: We were upgraded to a family room, which was incredibly spacious and very comfortable. The small table on the tatami area was perfect for a relaxing drink. All the essential facilities were available. Apart from the bathroom feeling a bit dated, the hotel was generally good and quite clean. There's a direct bus service from the airport to the hotel; we took the Airport Bus OAS on this trip. The aquarium is relatively close. We couldn't find a taxi on the fireworks night and had to walk for 30 minutes, though it's typically just a 5-minute taxi ride. Breakfast was decent, but the selection wasn't extensive, so it might get repetitive if you're staying for many days. Cons: The pillows had a strange smell, and even after requesting several replacements, we encountered the same issue. Luckily, we had brought our own pillowcases. It seemed daily housekeeping wasn't provided by default. We returned to find our room hadn't been touched. Fortunately, we ran into a staff member and asked them to clear the trash and replenish our drinking water.

Rooms in Japan are generally on the smaller side, but the breakfast here is quite substantial. You have to request room cleaning at the front desk, otherwise, they won't clean it proactively. There's a direct airport shuttle right outside, which is super convenient. It's also a short walk to American Village, where they have fireworks every Saturday.

The hot spring was fantastic! It's a natural onsen, and I enjoyed it both the night before and again in the morning. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, showing their age, but it’s conveniently located with many dining options nearby. There's also a beautiful lawn by the sea. Despite being close to the airport, the soundproofing is excellent; I didn't find it noisy at all. It’s very convenient to get to Okinawa Outlet Mall, and it’s a great place for shopping. Plus, there are direct buses from the outlet to the airport, making it a perfect last stop. You can even store your luggage at the mall while you shop. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

We had a great stay in Hewitt Resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We took early return flight so that we had to check out very early. The hotel even prepared packed breakfast for us as we did not have time to have breakfast before we left the hotel. The room was clean and new and spacious. We will definitely choose Hewitt Resort when we visit Okinawa in the future. Thank you Hewitt Resort.

TTingOnTheGoRooms are big and spacious but, it feels this hotel is understaffed as our room is quite filthy and looked like it wasn’t cleaned properly. Firstly, the bed looked like someone just lied on it and the beds were skew, secondly the fridge was really filthy, they dnt even bother cleaning it, and thirdly, there’s lots of footprints on the floor which means they dnt have enough time to mop the dirt on the floor. Oh, and we had another issue with the room, TV will automatically switch on by itself at odd hours😬 We had difficulty communicating with the staff as their English is not that fluent. But overall, it’s a great family hotel, I absolutely loved the facilities, kids had loads of fun at the pool and were crazy about the slides as well as the facilities on the beach. Extra bonus to the “happy hour drinks” (from 3-6pm, 9-11pm ).

BBanlimamaI was initially very pleased with the hotel's location. The pool and beach facilities were excellent, and there were also two breakfast options. However, the only truly unpleasant experience occurred during check-in. The young male staff member at the front desk was incredibly unprofessional. The check-in process took a full 45 minutes, and I was almost on the verge of heatstroke from standing there so long! After finally checking in, I wanted to quickly freshen up with a shower, but then waited another 30 minutes in the room for my luggage. I eventually went back to the front desk to inquire about my bags, only to find them unceremoniously dumped in a corner, completely unattended. It was only after I made a forceful complaint in English that a staff member hurriedly delivered the luggage to my room. Because I formally submitted a complaint, a staff member later proactively contacted me and offered water park coupons, which showed they were taking the matter seriously. Given we were a family with elderly parents and young children, traveling during the peak summer heat, I appreciated their effort to rectify the situation, as I really didn't want any more hassle. Aside from that, the remainder of our stay was quite pleasant. Although the room facilities were noticeably dated, they were acceptable.

2205827****The lobby is too small; it didn't feel like a proper hotel at first, which made me quite unhappy. However, once I got to the room, I was slightly more satisfied. There's no coffee machine or drinking water in the room; you have to go out to the hallway to get water. The front desk service was indeed top-notch, and the hotel is very close to Kokusai Street, making shopping convenient. The hotel breakfast was just average, but the drinks and cakes at the bar on the first floor were quite tasty. The TV in the room felt too big, though; it made my eyes hurt.

MM235447****After seeing some negative reviews, I found everything to be quite good. For a 50-year-old hotel, it's remarkably well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, and both breakfast and lunch were delicious. We even stumbled upon a romantic lawn wedding! If you have time, definitely book the hotel's snorkeling tour – there are so many fish! The instructors are all super nice; it's basically one instructor for every 3-4 people, and with about 10 people on the boat, there were 4 instructors accompanying us. I ate a bit too much at lunch, and then the weather wasn't great for the afternoon snorkeling, with a bit of rain, so I felt a little unwell. The instructor kept an eye on me and asked how I was doing. I ended up getting back on the boat early, but there was nothing to worry about.

CChilunThe hotel is located on Kouri Island, with a very nice view of Kouri Bridge. The room is large and equipped with cooking utensils. It can accommodate many people. The cleaning time was very random and did not follow the schedule, and the hotel staff came into the room to clean without prior notice. I was a bit dissatisfied. Since I had notified the hotel through Trip.com before departure that I would arrive very late, but when I arrived, I found that the front desk was closed, and there was no prior notice from Trip.com or the hotel about the key collection arrangements, which made my group very panic. Fortunately, I found Trip.com customer service to find the password. Thank you to the customer service and compensation for helping me handle it that day.

PPinnaonaoThe location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Kokusai-dori Street, and the Makishi Market is also very close, offering plenty of convenient dining options. Breakfast had a great variety, and the Chinese-style options were very satisfying. Facilities: The only downside was that the city hotel pool was too small; it felt cramped. Service: Excellent! Warm and welcoming, made us feel right at home. Cleanliness: We pushed the two small beds together and found absolutely no blind spots for dirt; everything was very clean.

AanddyyLarge hotel with spacious rooms, though a bit dated but clean and well maintained. Nice beach and great sea views from the rooms. But there are many limitations, especially for foreign tourists and those without a car. First of all, this place is rather remote, though not very far from Naha city but getting there will take about 2 hours on the Airport Hotel limousine bus , fare is ¥1430 per person, and there are not many services per day, if you miss the bus, you have to walk 30 minutes to Yomitan village to take the public bus, which takes more than 2 hours to Naha, or pay through your nose with taxi which costs more than ¥12,000. Almost none of the staff are able to converse in English effectively, reception staff will need to translate with an I pad and show the translation to customers. Being a large international resort hotel , they are extremely strict with the check in time, our limo bus arrived at about 1.30pm , when we asked to be checked in ,the reception staff said ok, but she told me ”early in 3000”, which I couldn't understand initially, she later showed me on her I pad , which displayed ” early check in fee ¥3000 for 1 hour”, there is no way to get a check in on arrival without paying a fee if you arrive early, even when the rooms are ready- which is unthinkable for anywhere else in the world ! It appeared that all guests arriving early decided to wait in the lobby till 3pm. Guests were not even offered any welcome drink, which was unthinkable for a resort hotel. Each room here cost more than ¥30,000 per night . Many other cons , which are rather unacceptable for foreign tourists- All the TV channels are in Japanese. Rather far away from any eating places , and not many choices. In rooms - the aircond cannot be set lower than 22 degree C , there is no shower cap and spoon provided.

GGuest UserWe brought our 3+ years old boy on a 2 night stay during golden week (May 2024) and opted in for a dinner buffet on the first night. It was 2200 yen per adult n foc for my boy. The spread was limited but worth all its penny as the beef was so tender and juicy so i feasted on it. All other dishes were also very good. The private beach was convenient and the water was so clear it looked like mineral water. There was a 50% discount voucher you can get from the hotel reception for the banana boat ride at the private beach and our boy enjoyed this and another ride. The young instructor who pulled us out on a jet ski for our water rides was friendly and went at a good speed for our 3 year old who was doing the water actitivties for the first time without us having to tell him to do so. He even went to the coral reefs and picked up a starfish n a sea cucumber to show our boy before returning it back to the sea. The water activites was affordable with the discount, price similar to Msia/Thailand/Indonesia resorts i have been to. I was apprehensive booking this resort after reading the reviews on the state of the hotel showing signs of aging. However, the place was well maintained. There was an unpleasant smell when i opened the door to our room but its actually just the tatami which needed some airing. After opening the windows to let in the natural breeze, all was good. Cleaniness for toilet was good too; just need to figure out the temp control for the shower. The onsite onsen was clean and easily accessible at the basement, and wld have cost us at least 1200yen for a visit to a public onsite iin naha. Totally recommend this resort for a fam outing with young children. I understand they have barrier free access rooms on the first floor of the resort so there were some families with elderly too.

OOlga TarThe hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of nowhere but close to some lovely tourist attractions. Airport limousine bus stops right in front of the hotel (OAS/APL and OAS/RSL that run between Naha and Churaumi aquarium). The public bus stop is 5 minutes away. Busena Marine Park is in perfect walking distance, and the walk is very pleasant. There are a few restaurants nearby and Lawson right in the same building and overall you don't need a car to have a nice vacation in this hotel. But it is a cheap hotel, very cheap for Okinawa indeed. How do they maintain this low price you may ask? Well, all the amenities are paid, the toiletries feel very cheap in comparison to other hotels in Japan. There's a beach but the beach chairs are paid separately. And you can only use this beach 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (the highest tide was 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and when the tide is low the swimming area becomes rocks - very inconvenient indeed. I know the tide changes, but such was our luck). We didn't get any free beach activities despite what was advertised in other reviews. And when we asked if our company of 5 adults could use a table indoors (it was heavy rain and wind outdoors) in a completely empty breakfast restaurant in the evening - we were asked to pay ridiculous 2000 yen per person. No device or clothes rack or not a flimsy chair on a spacious balcony, where one could dry their swimwear. Just one chair in the room. Also, for some reason we couldn't open our door and balcony door simultaneously, for the sound that rushing wind made was loud enough to wake the whole hotel up. On the bright side - the rooms have very solid sound insulation, the bed was wide and comfortable. All in all, I have a mixed feelings about this stay. Could've been better, could've been worse.
