The location is very convenient, right off route 1 south. We arrived very late and with the incorrect booking date. The lady at the service desk was extremely helpful and managed to rebookd a room at the spot. Thank you to trip.com.
They also allowed us to have a late check out. Again have to praise the friendliness of the service desk.
The room assigned was not set up properly so we got an upgrade.
Room is clean by there are no slippers, no shower cap, tooth brush etc. Kind of disappointed.
The Econo Lodge is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Econo Lodge is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Somers Point. The hotel is 20km from Absecon Station and 22km from Atlantic City International Airport. Famous local attractions Iglesia Gracia, Somers Point Historical Museum and The Shore Memorial Conference Center, can all be reached with a short walk. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site.
The room was large and clean. The hotel restaurant was good. There was a small unmanned vending area in the lobby. Transportation was convenient, with many shops within 1-3 miles. It's not far from Newark Airport. The hotel service was good. Parking was convenient, but it was charged. It was free within 30 minutes.
The hotel is a little outdated but spacious and the breakfast provided was good. There is quite a lot of hot food selection such as bacon, sausages, omelette, boiled eggs and hot oatmeals. In the morning there is a manager on site that greet all the guests which is a good touch too.
There is also a public bus just right across the hotel that you can ride to NYC subway station. You can get the bus ticket on the vending machine in the bus stop and they accept card payment. I do suggest get two way ticket to avoid queuing up again to get another return ticket if you plan to return to the hotel using the same bus.
4th of July and birthday weekend trip. We booked the king contemporary room. Checking in was fast and easy and the room was ready at checkin time. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Fabulous inlet view with the huge floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom was spacious with double sinks, big shower, and water closet. We were on the 39th floor and catching an elevator is no problem. The resort is huge but easily navigable. We dined at Wahlburgers and Villian & Saint. Food at both places was great and reasonably priced. Even with a holiday weekend we were able to dine at the time we wanted without a long wait. Caffeccino is open 24 hours so it was great to grab early morning coffee and a pastry or a late night snack. The birthday bar was fun. They gave me a free happy birthday sash to wear. It was cool walking around the casino floor having strangers wishing me a happy birthday. I signed up right away for the rewards card. This gives you discounted parking if you drive there. The beach was clean and we were able to rent beach chairs and an umbrella. This was my first time staying at this resort and I would definitely go back again!
The hotel is very quiet. If you are traveling by car, this hotel is a great choice. It is only 10 minutes away from Princeton University. The hotel environment is very good, and the gym and swimming pool are all available. The view outside the window is also great!
Everything was very nice in Atlantic City. My girlfriend and I had a great time. The hotel was clean. There was lots to do with the casino and very good dining would highly recommend.
Superb, beautiful environment, convenient transportation, free parking. The room is two bedrooms and one living room plus kitchen. Can live 6 people. You can cook by yourself. Buying 40 knives of ingredients can be enough for four people to eat for two to three days. Much better than eating outside. Very close to the Hmart Korean supermarket. Supermarket ingredients are very good.
It was a great experience and a nice stay. Love it and I will come back again

LLB1170The hotel service is very bad. Takes so long just check in when I was the only one checking in at that time. It was at 1 am checked in. They gave me a room in which someone is already inside the room. So they apologize and gave me free upgrade to suite room. Finally can get a room at almost 3am. It was very sucks.
GGuest UserWe had a great time. Everything you need is on the property. Getting to the boardwalk was easy. Many options like the shuttle but we took uber for the same price as the AC bus. Room was nice and check in smooth

EEndlesssideThe location is still very convenient, and the facilities are okay. It is suitable for families traveling with children. It has a microwave and a refrigerator, which is very convenient for hot food.
GGuest UserPlace was very clean and room was very nice. Biggest problem I had was once you check in they ask if you intend on parking your car. What? Of course I’m going to park my car, I just drove 3 hours to get here. “Well that’s 20.00 a night if you want to park here. All my years of going to Wildwood I have never heard that before. So if you stay at this hotel you can add 20 bucks immediately. Only stayed 2 nights but quite annoying.
GGuest UserFrom the moment we arrived, Asbury Ocean Club Hotel exceeded every lofty expectation we had set. George and Neil welcomed us with genuine warmth, handling our bags effortlessly and walking us through the property with the kind of thoughtful orientation that makes a guest feel instantly at home. That same care echoed across every corner of the hotel.
Our Dune Suite was beautifully appointed, blending modern design with quiet comfort, the perfect retreat after long days by the shore. The pool deck offered sweeping ocean views, the workout facilities were pristine and well equipped, and the drawing room felt like a serene escape, ideal for a quiet morning coffee or an evening unwind with a book.
Dining was a true highlight. The bar delivered outstanding cocktails crafted with precision, and the Mother's Day menu stood out as a memorable culinary experience, beautifully plated and full of seasonal flavor. Service throughout was attentive without ever feeling intrusive.
Asbury Ocean Club delivers genuine five star hospitality in a setting that feels both refined and refreshingly relaxed. We left already counting down to our next visit, and we cannot recommend it more highly.

GGuest UserVery nice, very clean updated room. We were in room 301- so no view or balcony- but you could step outside and walk around and look at the water (which is across the street)-BUT people do walk by the front of your room, in front of the sliding glass doors, so if you don't want that, book room with a view- they have balconies and you cannot walk in front of them.Check in was a breeze and Diane was very efficient and informative. We only stayed 1 night, but chose not to go to the pool because we came on a Sunday, thinking it would be quiet and chill. The bar is right next to the heated pool and there was a band, so it was not quiet- nothing wrong with it- just not what we were looking for. Beach was gorgeous. They have a jitney that takes you to town and towels available that you can also take to the beach. Keurig, microwave and mini-fridge in each room as well as a safe and robes. Well-lit at night and felt safe walking to my room solo. AC worked wonderfully - I should have brought an extra blanket. Water pressure was a little weak but doable.
Only negatives- beds were pretty soft and the pillows were terrible- bring your own.
