This hotel truly embodies the warm hospitality of Northeast China! The service was incredibly enthusiastic and always came with a smile. We especially loved the complimentary wellness tea in the lobby; it was so comforting to have a warm cup after being out in the snowy weather, and they were happy to refill it for us when we asked for more. The hotel allows food deliveries, and a robot brings them directly to your room, which is an absolute godsend! It's so warm inside the room that having to bundle up, go down to the first floor to pick up an order, and then peel off all those layers again would have been a real hassle. So, a huge thank you for the robot service! We accidentally stained the sheets and duvet cover twice, and the service was prompt and efficient in replacing them each time. The location is fantastic, right in the city center with a bus stop directly outside the hotel, making it easy to get anywhere. Given how cold it was, we mostly took taxis, and the hotel's street-side location made pickups and drop-offs very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great experience at Swissôtel Changbaishan! The service was incredible from start to finish. We were able to check into our room immediately upon arrival at 11am and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade — from a standard queen room to a spacious suite with a separate living area, kitchen, and two bathrooms. A fantastic way to start the trip. The staff were extremely friendly and responsive, offering almost round-the-clock support via WeChat with very quick replies. The built-in translation feature made communication smooth and easy, which we really appreciated. The location itself is beautiful. The European-inspired architecture and charming walking street genuinely make it feel like a small Swiss mountain town — aside from the many Chinese restaurants, of course. It’s a very scenic and relaxing environment. Breakfast offered a great variety of options, including a standard Western/English breakfast along with plenty of Chinese and ASEAN dishes. Something for everyone. The ski center and slopes are just a short walk away, which is very convenient. Do note that this area mainly offers green and blue runs, the mountain is relatively small and doesn’t have more challenging slopes. It’s perfect for beginners or those looking to practice, but advanced skiers may find it limited. We arrived toward the end of the season, so the snow was starting to melt. However, the slopes were still very well maintained, smooth and surprisingly free of icy patches. Ski rentals are available at the ski center. Basic skis and equipment are included free of charge, while gloves and goggles can be rented for a small fee. After skiing, we visited the spa at Club Med, which was included in the room rate. The facility was surprisingly large, featuring outdoor hot springs (onsen-style pools), saunas, steam rooms, and massage services, the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a great destination for a relaxed ski getaway.

The hotel environment is undeniably beautiful. We had a packed two-day itinerary, so we didn't stay long enough to fully enjoy all the amenities, but the hotel breakfast was incredibly diverse. The hot spring area was also very comfortable and beautiful, with very few people around. The hotel's small forest and swings were great, and the blue hour was absolutely stunning. The room was spacious, the bed was huge, and the bathtub was perfect for a soak – they even provided disposable tub liners. Anything we needed was delivered promptly, and the butler service deserves a five-star rating!

This hotel boasts an excellent location. It offers a special VIP entrance to Changbai Mountain, saving you the shuttle ride from the tourist service center to the mountain gate. The direct bus to the Heavenly Lake summit uses a VIP lane, cutting down on waiting time. Overall, this saves at least 2 hours. The butler service is proactive, reaching out a day in advance for one-on-one communication to ensure on-time pick-up. The hotel breakfast is nutritious and delicious. In the evenings, you can enjoy the incredibly convenient and fantastic hot springs. The butler service is attentive, providing 24-hour assistance. You can even choose your preferred pillow, which is a lovely touch. We went up the mountain a second time and finally saw Heavenly Lake – it was absolutely worth it! For the North Slope of Heavenly Lake, the Crowne Plaza is an excellent choice. We also received a free upgrade to a mountain view room, offering a distant view of the snow-capped Changbai Mountain peaks!

The front desk staff were incredibly sweet, especially Zhang Ting and Xiao Hou, who made check-in and check-out super fast and even upgraded our room! The ski-in/ski-out access was incredibly convenient, and the complimentary cable car tickets took us straight to the mountaintop. Our room was wonderfully warm, and soaking in a bath with a snowy view after skiing was absolute perfection. The breakfast was delicious, and the attention to detail in the service was impeccable. This truly lives up to its five-star rating; we'll definitely be back!

The first two days were all about getting there and climbing Changbai Mountain, and the check-in experience was a total mess, accompanied by sighs and eye-rolls from the gym staff. The next two days continued to be a special, overpriced experience of a hotel that was either too crowded to accommodate guests or simply didn't know how to when it wasn't. Room: By the third day, I finally noticed issues with the hotel's hardware. For instance, the sink actually smelled. For the first two days, I thought it was due to poor ventilation in the bathroom, with odors lingering after use. But then I realized that even without using the toilet, the smell would appear whenever I washed my hands. That's when it hit me: the sink itself was letting out foul odors. Speaking of smells, I also have to mention the management of smoking. It must be poorly managed because there was always a cigarette smell in the hallway. In a sealed, heated space like this, the smell doesn't just stay in the corridor; it seeps into the rooms. If I were staying at an e-sports hotel, being bothered by this might be an overreaction, but I'm not. On-site transportation: One thing particularly worth noting. After finishing a hot spring session at Mediterranean, there's no shuttle bus back to the hotel. You have to walk to the Swiss Hotel and then catch a ride. I, being the unlucky one, finished my soak at Mediterranean. Because it was too crowded, I couldn't get a hairdryer, so I decided to go back to the hotel to dry my hair. I called the front desk, but communication was difficult. I asked if I could get a shuttle from Mediterranean. The front desk told me to go to the lobby, and I said I was already in the lobby. He then asked for my room number. I told him. He seemed very confused and again told me to go to the lobby. I said, 'I'm in the lobby!' He then said, 'Oh, oh, oh, then you need to walk to the lobby of the Swiss Hotel.' My jaw dropped! Fine! In -17-degree weather, with wet hair, I walked from Mediterranean to the Swiss Hotel lobby. At that moment, all the cigarette smoke, the toilet smell, and the eye-rolls and sighs from the front desk I'd encountered over the past few days rushed back to me. Of course, I'm still inclined to think it was a communication breakdown, and I must have misunderstood something. Back at the hotel, I entered the lobby (the smaller one) and rushed to the front desk to ask her. 'Is there really no shuttle from Mediterranean back to the hotel?' The front desk, looking up from her phone, said, 'Yes, that's correct.' Ah, all the staff at this hotel love playing on their phones! On the fourth day, after a day of skiing, I returned to the room to find that the housekeeping had done a great job, but all the linens were gone. Even the hand towels were missing. I almost laughed in exasperation. On the fifth day, check-out day. My boyfriend sent a message to the butler, letting them know all the linens were gone, just to give them a heads-up so they wouldn't think we stole them 😂😂😂😂😂. The butler apologized profusely. Oh! That morning, at 9:30 AM, we went to the restaurant for breakfast, and there was absolutely nothing left! After staying for four nights, jianbing guozi (savory crepes) and boiled noodles were the only guaranteed items. The restaurant was drafty, and the four hot dishes were never actually hot (the lights only dried out the food, they didn't keep it warm). Any mid-range brand under Huazhu Hotels would utterly beat this dining experience. Check-out: Three people were standing at the front desk. I was pushing a 26-inch suitcase and a 28-inch suitcase. A woman dressed like a supervisor and a front desk staff member were busy chatting, saying there weren't many guests left today. No one offered to help. My boyfriend parked the car and came in to help with the bags. At this point, a male staff member blocked his way, turning back to talk to the three front desk staff. My boyfriend and I, struggling with the large suitcases, waited behind this male staff member until he finished his casual chat with the three female front desk staff, because he was blocking the way. My! God! Goodbye! I wouldn't recommend anyone stay at this hotel unless it's 300 yuan a night. But it's not~

The room was great, exceeding our expectations. We, two adults and one child, had a wonderful stay. The service was also very good, and ski equipment rental was super convenient, with lots of free perks to enjoy. The only minor improvements I'd suggest are regarding the breakfast staff's attentiveness and if the hotel could arrange more ski instructors for guests. We stayed for four days and still couldn't book a lesson. Otherwise, everything was excellent. We'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious with excellent lighting, and the owner clearly has great taste – the entire hotel has a fantastic style. It's located right in the Enduli Resort area, so stepping out to go shopping was incredibly convenient, and it's also very close to Yunding Tiangong. The shuttle service to Changbaishan Station was a huge plus. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast variety; it would be even better with a few more options, like pastries, which kids would definitely love.

This hotel is incredibly comfortable! I'd highly recommend it to any of my friends visiting Changbai Mountain. The atmosphere and environment are fantastic, and all the facilities are brand new. Our butler, Xiao Yu, was super attentive, making sure our drinking water was always replenished promptly. They even contacted us in advance to arrange high-speed train pick-up. The hotel's breakfast spread is also incredibly rich and delicious – I loved it! I originally planned to stay another night, but my schedule was too tight, so I had to rush off. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

MM741677****The front desk staff were quick and professional. We even got a room upgrade! The hotel's location is great, close to the North Scenic Area, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast had a good variety and tasted delicious. The environment is exquisite and comfortable, and the hygiene is clean and tidy. The hotel staff were exceptionally nice, especially the front desk lady. During the 817 Rice Festival, it was impossible to find a taxi, so the hotel even arranged a car to pick us up.

GGuest UserThis is our second time staying at Jinhua Suite Hotel this snow season! Manager Tang Xiaohan from the hotel called and messaged us on WeChat beforehand to understand all our needs in detail. During our stay, she'd remind us about the weather every day and even proactively offered hand warmers when it was cold. I especially want to thank Manager Tang for her exceptional dedication in helping us arrange a ski instructor for our child. When one day's ski lesson couldn't be booked, Manager Tang tirelessly helped me refresh the mini-program every day to see if there were any available instructors. It truly touched this old mother's heart! The hotel's location is super convenient for skiing; the ski center and restaurants are right downstairs. The hotel also has its own laundry room, which is a great plus. See you next snow season!

GGuest UserThe hotel service was absolutely wonderful! When we checked in, the front desk saw we were cold and immediately offered us warm bottled water. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. When we went to the hot springs, the staff member managing the area was so enthusiastic. She constantly reminded us to be safe and even specially guided us to try the outdoor hot springs, which was a 100% amazing experience. Despite the cold weather, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality from the hot springs staff. She even helped us take a group photo – fantastic! 👍 Breakfast was also excellent, with delicious food and even frozen sliced pears. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.

AAnonymous UserI came with my child this time, and I was worried about being overwhelmed by the sub-zero twenty-degree weather. But from the moment we landed, the hotel's 'Xue Man' butler took care of everything perfectly. 👉 Worried I wouldn't find the restaurant, they drew me a map. 👉 Worried I'd miss the airport shuttle, they proactively checked the schedule for me. 👉 Worried my child would be cold, they turned up the heating in the kids' room in advance. 👉 I casually mentioned wanting an early lunch, and they immediately coordinated it for me. This isn't just a hotel butler; it's my personal itinerary planner! The room was so warm I didn't want to leave, and the ski rental shop was super convenient, just a 3-minute walk downstairs. After skiing, soaking in the hot spring just topped off the feeling of pure bliss! Getting to the ski resort was incredibly easy. It was my first time visiting Northeast China, and I was initially worried I wouldn't adapt, but their service warmed my heart completely. From now on, when I want to ski in winter, this is my go-to place!

GGuest UserThe hotel is just inside the gate of Changbai Mountain as shown in the picture The only reason I chose this hotel is that they can help me book tickets and it is close to the entrance of Changbai Mountain (but I didn't expect it to be so close, probably less than 100 meters, it feels like I can see this pointed ticket gate after walking two steps) It is indeed a bit inconvenient to go out to other attractions, but we are mainly here to go to Tianchi so it's okay. The room environment is better than I expected, quite clean, and similar to the style of Beipo Lanjing And the front desk service is very enthusiastic, especially a sister with round eyes who really tries to meet our needs as much as possible. We didn't bring a hot pack and couldn't find the store, and she also helped us find a colleague.

YYouschMy fiancé and I stayed here this weekend to celebrate our engagement. We arrived at CGIG Nanshan Hotel feeling stressed and drained, but we have left feeling reenergized and joyful. The food was a delicious combination of Western and Chinese to suit all guests' tastes. The architecture was stunning; it felt like we were staying at a castle in France. Size was not the only impressive feature though. Every corner of the building was cleaned thoroughly at all times. The staff were all kind, attentive and treated us like royalty. When there was one small delay, they made an effort to resolve the issue quickly and gave us very nice gifts as a goodwill gesture. We definitely recommend your hotel to anyone who visits Changchun.

夏丽The hotel is well located, about 30 min by taxi from Baishan Changbaishan airport, 10 min walk from the West slope departure center as well as many restaurants. It looks majestic from the outside and inside, although a bit old. You can enjoy inside and outside hot springs of different kinds and temperatures. There is a huge buffet with various choices for breakfast (Chinese dishes mainly, two kind of fruits and some Western options). The room was very spacious and comfortable. The carpet floor was not very clean and the room smelled like cigarette on the first day, although we asked for a non smoking room. After leaving the window open the whole day it was better and the smell did not come back.

1110250****Booking with a platform pre-sale voucher was quite a good deal. I consulted with the front desk in advance about changing a king-size bed room to a twin room. After confirming availability, I extended my stay for two more nights, which included breakfast for two and some paid activities. The location of Tianyu is very convenient for tourists visiting the West Slope. Baiqi Station is just a 5-minute walk away. During the off-season, there aren't many tourists on the West Slope, so buses usually depart when full or every twenty minutes. This is much better than the North Slope, where you can only enter during your booked time slot. The room is said to have been renovated; the curtains felt new. The smart toilet seat didn't quite fit the toilet properly at first; the lid wouldn't stay up and kept falling down. I had a technician adjust the position and spacing, and it finally stayed upright. The bathroom is super large, with a double vanity in the dry area and a wardrobe (there's also one at the entrance for luggage and coats). It also has a large bathtub and a separate shower. Tianyu is very suitable for families with young children, offering both indoor and outdoor animal interactions. We adults also found the corn playground quite fun. You use small machines to shell corn kernels from a pile of dried corn, and then transport them with a hand-cranked conveyor belt. Playing with a pile of dry corn kernels is cleaner than playing with sand, and it also gives your feet a nice massage. We had breakfast for three days straight; there wasn't much variety, but the soy milk, fried dough sticks, and blueberry jam are not to be missed. The bottled water in the room is Nongfu Spring, while in the restaurant and lobby, it's Quanyang Spring, both sourced from Changbai Mountain – perfect for drinking your fill. Before leaving, I also booked a travel photo shoot. They offer 5 retouched photos for each night stayed, so we negotiated 15 retouched photos in total for our three-night stay. The photographer was skilled, and my best friend and I had a great time taking pictures on the hotel's outdoor wooden boardwalk and flower fields. It was effortless to pick out our favorites. There's only one indoor hot spring pool available. Soaking in it after climbing the 1442 steps of the West Slope was really soothing. The swimming pool was closed, and I guess the four or five outdoor hot spring pools will only open during the peak winter season. Changbai Mountain West Station opened on September 28th, and the hotel provides free shuttle service, making the 30-minute journey much more convenient. It will also make transferring between the North and West Slopes much easier in the future (no more two-hour bus rides!). We were incredibly fortunate that both the North and West Slopes were open during our short stay in Changbai Mountain (Tianchi Scenic Area was closed on the days before and after our visit). Tianchi graciously revealed its serene and profound beauty to us. The autumn colors of Changbai Mountain were mesmerizing. So grateful! 🥰
