The butler will contact guests a day in advance. The hotel is located inside the Tonghu Scenic Area, and the room rate includes admission tickets. This is the only hotel in the scenic area, so there are no outsiders. The hotel's front desk is at the main entrance of the Tonghu Grassland Scenic Area, with free parking. There's a 4x4 shuttle service within the area. The Starlight Restaurant is right next to the tent area, making dining convenient. It usually includes a buffet breakfast and a buffet hot pot dinner with good quality ingredients and a wide selection. There's a shuttle service to the bonfire party, which features a high-quality equestrian show, not just simple amateur entertainment. The rooms are tents. Our room type only had a password lock on the tent zipper, but since there are no outsiders in the park, it felt safe. Soundproofing isn't great because it's a warm tent. Each room type has a private bathroom and toilet, also in an attached tent form. Amenities are complete, including Crocs-style slippers and body lotion. The stand-up air conditioner heats and cools quickly, and there's also an oil-filled radiator for heating. It's hot during the day and cold at night, so you need to use both heating and cooling throughout the day. It's dry, so you can hang a wet towel. There are sand toys and sand sleds everywhere outside the room, and sand dunes right outside your tent, so you can play freely. Everything you could need is provided. If you stay for multiple nights, you'll need to drive quite a distance to visit other places during the day. Actually, one night and the next morning are sufficient. There are plenty of daytime activities, making it suitable for families with children. However, adults can use the daytime for excursions.

This stay far exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star review! The hotel's location is superb, right next to a bustling shopping district, making it incredibly convenient for taxis, getting around, and visiting attractions. The lobby is clean and tidy, and the front desk staff, especially Karida, were incredibly friendly. Check-in and check-out were very efficient, with no waiting at all. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. Hot water supply was stable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a completely undisturbed night's rest. The facilities were comprehensive, the hallways were clean and odorless, and the cleaning staff were very attentive. Overall, it offers great value for money. The environment is quiet and elegant, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful, making it perfect for both short trips and longer stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm back in the area, and I highly recommend it to friends visiting – it's a trustworthy choice!

Tengol really brought my desert fantasies to life, it felt like something out of One Thousand and One Nights! The facilities are top-notch; the rammed-earth architecture creates an incredible atmosphere. There's some room for improvement on the service side, though. The front desk area is too small – it gets really cramped with just a few people, and with only two check-in stations, efficiency is a bit low. Plus, every available space is piled with luggage, which looks messy and isn't very aesthetic. The breakfast was excellent and diverse, featuring local specialties like freshly prepared 'saunzi' noodles, sand onion bread, and camel milk. The complimentary dune buggy ride was fantastic – super thrilling and a lot of fun!

Our first night was in a capsule room, which was quite spacious and comfortable for adults, and the kids really enjoyed it. For the second and third nights, we moved to a different room. Half of the curtains didn't block out light, the toilet constantly ran 24/7, and the shower would suddenly turn completely cold every three minutes or so. It was really terrible; it might just be a hardware issue with that particular room.

My stay at Yiyexingkong Tent Hotel far exceeded my expectations. Located near the Shapotou Scenic Area, the hotel thoughtfully provides shuttle service, making travel exceptionally convenient. Receptionist Yu Na was warm and attentive, handling check-in efficiently and meticulously, and patiently answering all my questions. The tents were clean and dry, with complete amenities. The hotel's food was authentic, with fresh ingredients and generous portions; the Northwest specialties were very much to my liking. The surrounding environment was tranquil and comfortable, with stunning desert scenery right outside the tent door. It's suitable for couples or groups, offering attentive service and excellent value. I've already recommended it to friends; it's my top choice for visiting Shapotou, and I'll definitely book again for my next trip.

The treasure camp in the Tengger Desert really exceeded expectations! Looking at it, it is all delicate and clean soft sand. It is soft and comfortable to step on. Children can play in the sand for an afternoon. The atmosphere is directly full. The overall facilities of the camp are complete, and the daily play and leisure facilities are arranged properly. Although the room is not oversized, the layout is warm, the appliances and toiletries are all complete, and the living is clean and comfortable. The most want to praise the staff, the service is really warm and thoughtful! As soon as I arrived, I took the initiative to help pick up and drop off the luggage, named and praised Xiao Kai, and Jiang Zhuli 👍👍 I will respond in time to any needs with enthusiasm and patience. The camp will also organize a lot of fun activities. At the bonfire party in the evening, everyone sings and interacts around the fire, and there are small fireworks to play. The children are very excited throughout the process, and they laugh very happily. They completely liberate their hands. And the chef's craftsmanship in the restaurant! Stir-fried dishes, barbecue are delicious! It is so comfortable and intimate to have such a comfortable and intimate experience in the desert, the price is super high, and the parent-child travel is highly recommended. This good memory is really unforgettable!

The rooms are very new and are smart devices, very clean, and the price is very affordable, but the sound insulation is not very good, a bit embarrassing. The aunts cleaned very clean. This hotel is 1 km away from Huaiyuan Night Market. After I finished playing every day, I took the bus to Wencui Street Huaiyuan Junction Station and then walked back to the hotel at Huaiyuan Night Market. It was very convenient. There are still many delicious foods, Yinchuan is very fun, will come again!

As soon as you look up, you will see endless sand dunes and clear sky. The magnificent scenery is intoxicating. The accommodation facilities are very complete. The room is clean and tidy, warmly and comfortably furnished, and the bed is soft, allowing people to get a full rest after a tiring day. The bathroom is also very clean and has all kinds of supplies. The service is impeccable. The staff are warm and friendly. From caring guidance when checking in to meeting various needs at any time, they make people feel like home. They also provide a wealth of desert activity suggestions so that you can have fun in the desert. The dining aspect is also amazing. The food is delicious, rich in variety, and you can taste local specialties. Enjoying such delicacies in the desert is really a different kind of enjoyment. All in all, this desert stay was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to get close to nature and experience the beauty of the desert.

Finally, I understand what the travel guides mean: if you haven't stayed at the Star Hotel, you haven't truly experienced Shapotou! The environment, dining, and service are simply exceptional. We stayed in Zone A and even saw fireworks at night 🎆. What's most commendable is the hotel's parent-child science education. We unfortunately missed the stargazing due to cloudy weather, but the desert hike the next morning was a pleasant surprise! Teachers Wendy and Xiaomei, who led the hike, were professional and thorough in their explanations. Even our four-year-old kept up perfectly, learning about many desert plants and spotting a little lizard 🦎 with them. It not only built our child's resilience but also fostered an appreciation and awareness for protecting nature, making our desert trip truly meaningful. Our brief interactions left us with wonderful memories, and we hope the Star Hotel continues to thrive.

The campground is inside the Impression Tengger Scenic Area. There are campgrounds all around (I checked and found that almost all the ones offering free Tengger tickets are located nearby). Sandstorm offers the best value. 😁 The service was excellent. Mr. Li contacted me right after booking to confirm how to get to the campground. (If you drive, you can only reach the scenic area entrance; it's all desert inside and you have to change cars. There's no guide, and you don't know the way. 😂) Tengger activities are right next to it. The hotel has a bonfire, iron flower making, fireworks, and a karaoke bar. It's all quite lively. After 5 or 6, when the sun isn't so strong, it's wonderful to walk along the sand dunes for two or three hours. It's refreshing and you can even watch the sunset. The shared bathrooms are also quite spacious, with lockers and benches for storing clothes. A tip for you ladies: wash and change into your regular shoes before returning to your tent (you'll still get sandy if you wear slippers. 😂) It rained this time, so unfortunately I couldn't see the stars, but it was a special experience. Even with the strong wind and heavy rain, sand didn't get into the tent, which was great. 😀
