Very good accommodation, good service, inexpensive spa, breakfast, complete but a bit the same as before, should have other types of protein. The accommodation is by the sea, beautiful, suitable, if there is a chance, I want to take my family again.

Location: The hotel is located near the train station, but getting there requires climbing a steep hill. It’s puzzling why the hotel doesn’t offer a shuttle bus to the station. On the bright side, the hotel faces the sea, offering stunning views. There’s also a sightseeing mini-train right downstairs, which costs €8 per person. It takes you around some of Tarragona’s main attractions, but it doesn’t stop along the way, nor is there any guided commentary. Service: The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming. They not only recommended excellent sightseeing routes but also some very delicious restaurants. Since we arrived early for check-in and our room wasn’t ready, they kindly offered us the option to use the gym facilities to change clothes if needed. Cleanness: Good. Facility: The mattress was terrible. Why do mattresses in Spanish local-brand hotels seem to always sag so much? Do they actually prefer that sinking feeling? Overall: Great value for money.

The service at the great reception, at the buffet breakfast was not so good, the girl we asked if please could make some tortillas we were looking would be and when we told her that there was no hot milk to put to coffee in the buffet I also looked at us very seriously and answered us quite dry, the other girl and the boy though very sympathetic. The room was not quite good, there were screws on the floor that had not been fresh and a lot of dust above the desk light. The location is great and the hotel is very beautiful.

The hotel has very poor water quality. The tap water has a strange smell and is not very clean, making it difficult to wash hands and shower properly. Additionally, the bathtub's water temperature fluctuates between hot and cold, which is very frustrating. However, aside from this, everything else is great. The location is close to the subway station, and the staff are friendly and courteous.

I frequently visit Barcelona and always choose good hotels, but each stay is a nightmare. I specifically requested a quiet floor, yet both times I was given a room right next to a cleaning room, and on a particularly noisy floor with early morning disturbances! I didn't get a single good night's sleep! On top of that, I was overcharged double for the city tax. The two previous major hotels I stayed at charged the exact amount shown on the confirmation, so this is the first time I've encountered a hotel with such arbitrary charges, and they even tried to justify it. When you're traveling, sometimes you just don't want to argue! On the second day of my three-day stay, my room key card stopped working. When I changed rooms, the front desk only activated the card for one day, leaving me locked out in the middle of the night—it was absolutely frustrating. For my fellow Chinese travelers considering this hotel, I strongly advise you to check in at the front desk in person to confirm your room beforehand. It seems that even when you pay a lot, you don't get fair treatment in Europe! You'll be discriminated against. The front desk staff will say all the right things but won't actually do anything for you! If possible, just go for a short-term apartment instead of a hotel. Of course, many apartments are run by Chinese people, and some of them also overcharge! If you don't absolutely have to, don't come to Barcelona! 😂 Service: The staff at the hotel lobby seemed very polite, but they only genuinely served foreign guests.

It's relatively clean. There is no coffee in the room, no bottled water and other common necessities. The service staff does not speak English. The bathroom is older than the round one. It is also very small. It is also difficult to adjust the water temperature.

The hotel has its own boutique supermarket which is very convenient for shopping and parking is free The restaurant used to be good, but the last time I went there because of a change of chefs, I felt that my level has dropped a lot. The hotel rooms and bath products are very good. Open the balcony door and go out to the swimming pool. The swimming pool is not big but it is better than you can see the sea.

It should be noted that the hotel is clean in terms of facilities, but the bathroom and bed linens are very, very poor quality, the towels look like rags and the sheets look like furniture covers.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. There are obviously many guests on weekends. The rooms are comfortable, the service is friendly, there are plenty of parking spaces around, and it only takes five minutes to drive to the center of Salou. A very cost-effective hotel

GGuest UserA short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured. Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel. As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you. Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children.

DDr. Julio BernalAt first I was concerned about the location of the hotel. Nothing to be worried about. The hotel is near the train station. (20 minutes walk). There are several options for dining around the hotel. The facilities are well kept (sauna/pool). The room was spacious and comfortable. Something to improve would be the operating ours for the bar. They close at 11. You could not get even a bottle of water unless you go and walk at least 10 minutes. Things that can improve for future travelers. 1. The attitude of the people in the lobby should represent the hotel brand. There was a staff person in the checking counter( I don’t know his name, male in his 30s…) yelling to another coworker and he didn’t mind if there were guests or not around. Truly unkind and unprofessional. 2. The restrooms in the lobby need a lot of maintenance. There were broken toilets and faucets. Besides these observations, this place is a very good option if you want to stay outside Barcelona.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location and stylish design. Metro and bus stops are right at the doorstep, putting most major attractions within a 20-minute ride. The airport is also very accessible, just an 8-10 minute taxi ride or a 20-minute direct bus journey away. The €25 breakfast is fantastic too. My only minor complaint is the slightly poor soundproofing, but apart from that, I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserAffordable type, kitchen, indoor swimming pool, very large in winter, bath tub, good view, golf course restaurant, not tasty and expensive, old-fashioned style, service is not good, the front desk is slow, no one can bring your luggage, borrow you a trolley to push the overall service level Generally inefficient, the employees are relatively old. It’s more than half an hour away from the city. This economical type suitable for a family’s self-driving holiday must be used during the day. The indoor swimming pool is very beautiful. The rooftop spa has a golf view and a sauna. Many people don’t knowledge

EErwin YuanThe W Hotel boasts the best location on Barcelona beach. I recommend booking a high-floor room if possible; the sunrise views in the morning are absolutely stunning. After checking in, I suggest heading straight to the beach. The hotel has its own small private beach area accessible from the basement level, and guests get complimentary use of sun loungers and towels. The outdoor pool on the ground floor is fantastic, with many European and American tourists enjoying the sun. My tip is to have breakfast early, as the number of sun loungers on either side of the pool is limited. On Sunday evenings, the hotel hosts a pool party, which is free for guests with a room card. Non-guests have to queue and pay an entrance fee, and the atmosphere at the pool party is really great.

TT/RThe Monument Hotel in Barcelona is an exceptional accommodation that seamlessly blends historic architecture with modern amenities. This was our second stay at this beautiful property, and I was once again blown away by the level of hospitality and attention to detail. The hotel's location is perfect, allowing you to easily walk to all the top attractions, restaurants, and wine bars in the city. The concierge, Xavi, is a true gem. He listened intently to our personal preferences and provided fantastic recommendations, including a wonderful nail salon when I was in need of a manicure. Xavi's restaurant and wine bar suggestions were spot on - we enjoyed some of the best local cuisine and wine during our stay, and have saved those recommendations for future visits. The hotel itself is stunning, with a beautiful historic facade complemented by modern, well-appointed guest rooms and common areas. The amenities are top-notch, ensuring a safe, comfortable and convenient stay. From the luxurious bedding to the high-end toiletries, every aspect of the guest experience is carefully considered. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona, whether it's your first or fifth time in the city. We look forward to returning again soon.

GGuest UserWe ended up in this hotel because there was a problem with our pre-booked hotel. They try to clean the rooms well, I liked it, a nice, pleasant reception, thank you! I just didn't like the elderly man serving breakfast. On the first day, when I came for breakfast (I assumed that breakfast was included, because when changing hotels, the other parameters should not have changed), this man quite rudely asked me to leave, because breakfast was not included. It was unpleasant, he demonstrated everything as if he was trying to steal breakfast. And as a result, they save on champagne at breakfast. They put one bottle and do not change it for a very long time, after the previous one is finished (we still went to breakfast on the following days)

GGuest UserGood location, close enough to the sagrada familia. Quiet at night. However, compared to other 5-star hotels, this hotel has a very small lobby and crude elevators that don’t match a 5-star rating. Hardware-wise, it’s probably 4-star at best. Service - Concierge staff was polite upon check in, but the display of hospitality stopped there. Thereafter, door men at the gate didn’t greet or even acknowledge guests upon leaving or returning to the hotel. Considering the hotel lobby was so small that guests literally passed by in front of them, it came across as quite indifferent and awkward. Amenities - There were intermittent sounds of water dripping onto a metal surface in my room during my stay. My guess is the air con system had some flaws. I asked the concierge to send people to check when I was outside (which they did), but there was no follow up afterwards and the dripping sound remained the second night. Besides, the staff who entered my room for checking took away my room card from the electricity holder, which should have never been allowed for safety considerations because the room card was registered under my name and no other person should have it during my stay.

GGlobe Traveler5-Star Location and Service This an advance birthday trip of my husband and this hotel really stands tall among the competition because of the central location, price and services. Right in the center of action and tourist sites of Barcelona-Passeig De Gracia, High End Shops and Top Tapas restaurants are everywhere-- all around is high end, modern and has fashion-forward vibe! There are also so many affordable places to go too and really has a safe feel everywhere especially for tourists. Cabs are overflowing as this is in the center of Barcelona. The hotel is literally connected to the high end shops so it is posh and lovely! The staffs especially the reception, ushers, are all helpful and pleasant and really made you feel so special as they made effort to know who you are-- I was greeted with recognition of my name from the bellman to the front plus a note screen in the hotel room-- very personalized! If you plan to visit Barcelona, JUST GO HERE-- you would not regret it! Price: Very Good Value: Very Good (Love the Atelier smell everywhere) Location: Excellent Service: Excellent Highly recommended 10/10 We will be back!
