We went on a group tour; there were about 20 of us. Because of the rain, there were fewer people, but still a lot. However, we quickly bought tickets, and our first group headed off with a very young guide, Alina. She studied Russian in China and also visited St. Petersburg for six months, and today she gave her first tour! So, I'd really like to commend her, as she has a pretty good Russian accent. Of course, she mixes up our endings, but I'm sure with some practice she'll become more confident in our difficult Russian. We understood everything throughout our short tour. In fact, the tour itself was supposed to be 2 hours long (covering the history of the landmark), but the tour itself and the history were over in about 40 minutes, and then there was free time, as they say. Honestly, the tour was dry, literally: "The emperor lived here, and the empress was here, they ate here, they rested here." Add more interesting historical facts★

The guide was extremely experienced and helpful. She was knowledgeable and also took lots of photos for us. The forbidden palace is beautiful and a great cultural experience. If you add the wechat of the trip.com staff they add you to a chat group with the guide and it's easy to organise the outing.★

My son and I joined a small tour group. Our guide, Liu Yanfang, was very responsible, paying close attention to our child's safety, constantly reminding us of safety precautions, helping us take great photos, and knowing the route perfectly so we didn't waste any time or take any detours. Thumbs up! Her explanations of the attractions were also very detailed.
