Reviews: JR Pass east Japan rail pass | Ride designated Shinkansen (ticket redemption)
Guest User2026-09-30
The East Japan 10-Day Pass covers a wide area. From Tokyo to Aomori, the Shinkansen takes three to four hours, a long distance. Then, I traveled through Sendai, Matsushima, Fukushima, Omiya, Karuizawa, and Kawagoe Ichiban-gai. From Tokyo to the airport, it's very cost-effective. The JR buses in Aomori provide good connections between attractions, so I basically didn't need to buy additional bus tickets during my trip. Recommended.

Reviews: JR Sanyo & San'in Area Pass 7-Day (electronic tickets require redemption)

It was a great deal! We landed in Fukuoka, took the airport express for free, then took it one stop to JR Hakata Station to exchange for JR Pass tickets. We visited many places. Our return trip was in Osaka, so it took exactly one week.

Reviews: Okinawa FunPASS Churaumi Series: Churaumi Aquarium Admission Ticket, Free Choice of Attraction Experiences, Transportation and Shopping Discounts
Guest User2026-10-28
A fantastic family-friendly spot! The biggest highlight is seeing giant whale sharks and manta rays swimming right in front of you. Many travelers consider this a must-see in Okinawa, and the most worthwhile place to take photos and stop to admire the scenery. Besides large fish, you can also see tropical fish, jellyfish, corals, and deep-sea creatures. It's a novel experience for animal-loving children, allowing them to learn about marine life while having fun. The aquarium is located within the Ocean Expo Park, and nearby are also a turtle exhibit, dolphin-related facilities, and Emerald Beach, making it a great option for a half-day to full-day trip. Beware of crowds: On holidays and during peak hours, the area in front of the large tank can be very crowded, and young children may not be able to see clearly. Transportation time: From Naha, it usually takes about 2-2.5 hours by car, so it's best to plan a full-day trip to the north. Lots of walking outdoors: Strollers are allowed inside the aquarium, but the entire Ocean Expo Park is quite large, and trying to see everything can be tiring.
