We had a wonderful experience on this Beijing 1-day tour! Our tour guide was very adorable, friendly, and professional throughout the journey. She explained everything clearly in Mandarin and made the history of the Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, and Yuanmingyuan very interesting and easy to understand. Her storytelling was lively, detailed, and never boring. You could really feel her passion for Beijing’s culture and history. She was also very caring and attentive to everyone in the group, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the tour. She helped us with photos, answered questions patiently, and kept the itinerary smooth and well organized. Thanks to her, the whole experience felt relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable. Highly recommend this tour package, especially with such a lovely and enthusiastic guide! 😊

Our teacher, Mr. Liu, was meticulous, knowledgeable, and attentive. The night before, when we contacted him, he not only reminded us to take precautions against heatstroke and sunburn, but also told us to enter through the East Gate and exit through the South Gate, allowing us to plan our itinerary in advance. The explanation began with a detailed account of the Temple of Heaven's history, from its initial status as the Temple of Heaven and Earth, to its division into the Temple of Heaven and the Temple of Earth during the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty. He explained the Winter Solstice Grand Sacrifice/Circular Mound Altar, the Prayer for Good Harvests/Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests in the first month of the lunar calendar, the sacrificial process, the layout and architectural features of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the core royal altars of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (Temple of Heaven, Temple of Earth, Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Moon, Temple of the God of Soil and Grain, Temple of Agriculture) and their sacrificial culture, the Echo Wall, and the characteristics of sound propagation at various points in the Imperial Vault of Heaven. He explained everything in detail, which not only taught us middle school students a great deal, but also greatly benefited us adults.

Our guide possesses a profound knowledge of the local culture. At each attraction, he meticulously explained its historical background, anecdotes, and interesting stories, going beyond simply reading descriptions. His explanations were vivid and easy to understand, giving us a deeper appreciation for the grandeur of the Great Wall, the imperial garden heritage of the Summer Palace, and the historical significance of the Old Summer Palace. The itinerary was well-planned, with smooth connections between the three attractions, resulting in a fantastic travel experience. Sophia was great in explaining the details to us and also being very accommodative to both of the kids who asked the most random questions. She made it more engaging by asking random quizzes and the kids loved it. Also appreciate that she took us the opposite flow which helped us have less crowd during the tour.
