I would recommend this tour. We visited the temple of heaven first - this was quiet as it was about 8.30am. Then we went to Tiananmen Square - lots of checkpoints to get in but worth it. Finally we went to the forbidden city. Annie was a fantastic guide - she was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites and had great English. Also she ensured there were lots of photo opportunities! Tip - take food and water with you or buy some when you can as there isn’t an official lunch break. I would highly recommend this tour and Annie as your guide!★

It was so worthwhile spending a day with Panpan! She managed the itinerary perfectly, avoiding crowds and long queues. Even with so many kids in the group, no one got lost. Panpan's explanations were also very detailed, taking us from the Temple of Heaven to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Although tiring, it was definitely worth the trip. This trip to Beijing was incredibly fortunate; I met Director Yuan, and I must give him a huge thumbs up! Director Yuan's explanations were truly phenomenal. His profound historical knowledge allowed him to narrate the history from ancient times to the present, vividly portraying the solemnity and grandeur of the capital. The Forbidden City, which I had only seen on television before, came alive under his guidance, bringing its red walls and yellow tiles to life. He explained the architectural regulations, court culture, and historical context of the Forbidden City clearly and engagingly, without being dry or perfunctory. Every detail was explained clearly, allowing us to truly understand the cultural heritage of the Forbidden City. I was completely captivated and gained so much from the presentation. Highly recommended!★

My son and I joined a small tour group. Our guide, Liu Yanfang, was very responsible, paying close attention to our child's safety, constantly reminding us of safety precautions, helping us take great photos, and knowing the route perfectly so we didn't waste any time or take any detours. Thumbs up! Her explanations of the attractions were also very detailed.★

If you decide to go without a tour, you should definitely do two things: be prepared for a long line and study information about the place in advance to understand the full scale 🤲 So take a tour to avoid all this 😅 And, of course, visiting Beijing and not visiting the Forbidden City is strange 😑
