We booked an English-speaking guide because the Russian-speaking ones were already booked, but that didn't bother us at all. Everything was clear, and the guide was always available. We managed to see everything. Be sure to take a sleigh ride, it was fun.★

The transfer was pleasant; the guide spoke Russian quite clearly, led short interactive sessions on the bus, and sang Russian songs with us. Since we visited the wall at night, we risked missing the transfer back from the mountain to the city. The guide quickly arranged for another transfer to pick us up 40 minutes later. We are incredibly grateful for their help and support, even though it wasn't part of their job description. I highly recommend them!
