Howard Johnson by Wyndham Salem Hotel & Conference Center

The king rooms are updated and cleaner than the old rooms, the only problem I have is the room I booked clearly showed a room with a hot tub but for $70 I should have known better but still don't false advertise, some people will see that an be very upset when they realize there's not a hot tub in here, the lamps, bed and room decor are excellent and the bathroom was also clean which is what everyone expects and wants and the lady up front wasn't even that rude to me this time lol seriously though Howard is in the top 6 or 7 hotels available in Salem I enjoy the views and a majority of the time the rooms I'm placed in!
Super 8 by Wyndham Alexandria/Washington D.C. Area

The overall appearance of the building was dismal at best. I don't think the sheets were changed from the last guess. The towels didn't appear to be cleaned as well. I really just think nobody cared about anything around there because of his cheap price. The room was non-refundable as well I wouldn't recommend unless you're looking for a cheap place where you can guess whether the things were cleaned or not

we stayed over night june 10, 21. the room was recently remodeled and beautiful. the staff was very nice and helpful and i could not have been more satisfied. it is pet friendly and my little alice was very happy. the beds were comfortable but a little hard for my taste. (i am very picky about my bed so can't really go by me) my husband was very pleased with it. there is a steakhouse within walking distance that is very nice. yes i would stay again.

My family stayed on the third floor. We actually chose to just use the stairs since the elevator was on one end of the hotel and our room was on the opposite. It was convenient since the stairs let out at the back parking area and we were always able to find a park. The room was very clean, I have no complaints about that. The beds were comfortable, the mini fridge worked great, and we always had towels. I did opt for the partial room service, they will ask you at check in. That worked just fine, we had clean towels and trash was emptied. That's really all we need. Pool was okay, we didn't use as much as we thought we would, but that was due to other guests being extremely loud. Breakfast was nice. It included waffles, eggs, sausage, 2 types of cereal, juice, small muffins, yogurt and prepackaged oatmeal. It was good enough for us and got us going in the morning. All things considered, I would absolutely stay here again. It was clean and safe and a good location.
Super 8 by Wyndham Daleville/Roanoke

This Super 8 was conveniently located to the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Roanoke area. It is surrounded by a good selection of restaurants. The staff was friendly and check-in was quick. We were a little wary of the door connecting our room to the next but we had no noise problems. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was simple but sufficient (packaged items and beverages).
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Newport News

I was totally disappointed on this trip. I booked a Standard King room and upon entering the room noticed that it wasn’t what I reserved. I was given the keys to a King Mobility roll in shower room (Handicap) instead. I spoke to the front desk who informed me that the 3rd party booked this evidently in error. My question was how, when my confirmation states, Standard King. 5 minutes later the front desk called and stated that there were no more Standard Kings left but they would accommodate me with a Standard Double if I like along with being offered complementary snacks since I was upset. I declined both, because I believe after I mentioned my confirmation number they went back, checked it and realized that the mistake was on their end. I will be in contact with Trip because there was a difference in price as I also mentioned to the front desk rep as well.
Comfort Suites Dulles Airport

My wife and I were so pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Comfort Suites Dulles Airport hotel. The room was clean and spacious and very quiet, the facilities were very complete, the bed was very comfortable, the free breakfast had quite an abundant variety of choices and all the food was clean and hygenic and well-presented, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The complementary airport shuttle service was punctual with helpful drivers. We definitely plan to stay there again when we need to spend a night in that part of the DC area.
Quality Inn & Suites Oceanfront

Located at the lower end of beach, it is convenient to the ocean beach, and restaurants. Pool looked inviting, but was geared to the younger crowd. Remodeled bathroom and tile, although it was incomplete in spots, on balcony. Check- in is weird as done on an iPad with remote agent. This hotel also charged an “xtra” fee at check-in. Night agent is very rude- and pulling up to register is not convenient. Parking is across the street and not on property. Rooms are mostly partial ocean view . We managed, but probably not stay here again.
