5-Star Hotels in Macau, China

This was my first time staying at the Studio City Celebrity Tower, and it was such a delightful surprise, like opening a blind box! The hotel views are absolutely stunning 🤩 You can see the Eiffel Tower right from the window 👍 And the Ferris wheel at Studio City is incredibly impressive! There are so many facilities to enjoy too. It's a top choice for families with kids, especially with the indoor children's play area and the water park 🎡 I'll definitely be back next time! 👍

Had a fantastic stay at YOHO Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Macao. The hotel feels modern, classy, and well-maintained, with a stylish design that gives a premium vibe the moment you step in. One of my favourite parts was the beautiful sea-facing view towards Hengqin, which made the stay extra relaxing. My room was very spacious and comfortable, and I loved having a private balcony to enjoy the view. The highlight for me was definitely the huge bathtub — perfect for unwinding after a full day out. The amenities were also great, with stable Wi-Fi, mini-bar, and in-room entertainment, making it a very complete and luxurious stay overall. If you’re booking the Suite King, do note that these rooms are usually limited in units and are often located near the last few rooms on each floor, likely because of the bigger room size and layout. So it’s best to book early if you want to secure this room type. I also enjoyed the facilities, especially the outdoor pool and fitness centre. The hotel is also family-friendly with a kids’ pool and play area, which makes it a great choice if you’re travelling with children. If you’re looking for extra relaxation, the spa treatments are a nice touch too. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service, which makes travelling to nearby attractions more convenient. However, one small downside is that if you’re coming by public transport, you may need to walk a bit from the nearest LRT station to reach the hotel.

Very perfect stay here. The room is spacious and provide free drinks and completed amenities. The staff is super courtesy. Our room was cleaned twice a day even without request. They refill the coffee and water and other amenities , exchange new slipper for us everyday. Surprisingly the staff help to tie up my messy cable. They provide lavender pillow spray with comfy sleep at night. No any fault i can find here.

The bathroom was huge, almost half the size of the room, and the sofa was comfortable enough for an adult to sleep on. The food at the Grand Club was excellent, and the beef rolls were delicious. It's very close to MGM and Wynn Palace, just across the street. It's a shame we didn't get a room facing the musical fountain due to the crowd, but overall it was pretty good.

An absolutely five-star experience! The W Macau is stylish and trendy, with incredibly attentive service! I was really impressed with my stay at the W Macau - Studio City. The hotel's location is fantastic, right inside Studio City. Downstairs, you'll find a mall, a Donki supermarket, and all sorts of dining options. The light rail station is just a short walk away, making transportation and shopping super convenient. The room design is incredibly stylish and modern, very bright and chic. The floor-to-ceiling window, facing the Parisian Macao's Eiffel Tower, offers an absolutely unbeatable night view. The room was spotlessly clean, and the toiletries had a really premium scent.

This hotel is conveniently located directly opposite Zhuhai Wanzai Pier's inner bay, close to Macau's main island attractions like Senado Square, the Ruins of St. Paul's, and Camoes Garden. Currently, the casino downstairs isn't operating, so from Gongbei Port or Qingmao Port, you'll need to take a bus or taxi to get here. There are many bus routes passing right by the entrance, and they run frequently, which is very convenient. The hotel lobby has an old-money aesthetic. The room size is decent, and the bathroom is large, with a separate shower and toilet, and it's very clean. They don't provide bottled water, but there's a water purifier in the room where you can choose the water temperature, which is a great touch.

Upon check-in, the front desk said I was upgraded, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it made. The good thing is the room was spacious and looked grand at first glance, but upon closer inspection, it felt rather empty. The facilities felt outdated, with basic toiletries provided. The bathroom was also very large, but the toilet seat wasn't even a smart bidet, and the floor tiles were old and stained. When I ran out of bottled water at night, I called the front desk, but no one answered. Besides the guy checking room cards at the entrance by the downstairs elevator, I didn't see any other staff members. There was a complete lack of service. It was my birthday on the day of check-in, and the hotel didn't acknowledge it or even offer a greeting. The 'Emperor's Dim Sum' restaurant downstairs was expensive and unappetizing. Also, when in Macau, you'd expect to visit the casino, right? My partner spent over an hour trying to figure out how a beginner could get chips to play, and there was no clear process or information desk for new guests. I chose The Venetian because it's supposed to have everything – dining, accommodation, entertainment, and shopping – even if the room rates are higher than elsewhere. However, overall, my experience at The Venetian this time was disappointing, and I won't be staying at this expensive hotel again. I suggest they seriously learn from Japan's service philosophy to improve their service quality and figure out how to give guests a true 'home away from home' experience.

The YOHO Treasure Island Hotel Macau, which opened in 2023, is a brand-new luxury resort located in the heart of the Macau Peninsula, offering unparalleled scenic views. Its biggest draw is its proximity to Grand Lisboa and Wynn Macau, and its neighbor, the Macau Science Center. Most rooms boast picturesque views of Nam Van Lake and Penha Hill, providing guests with a panoramic vista that encompasses both Macau's historic center and its vibrant modern cityscape. Design-wise, the hotel cleverly blends the adventurous spirit of Treasure Island with Macau's unique Sino-Portuguese cultural heritage. The interiors are exquisitely decorated, creating a luxurious and mysterious atmosphere. Guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with high-end amenities and smart control systems, ensuring a premium stay. The dining options are equally impressive, featuring a delightful mix of international cuisine and authentic local dishes. However, as a newly opened hotel, some facilities may still be undergoing enhancements. Additionally, given its prime location in a bustling area, traffic around the hotel might be a bit congested during peak hours. Nevertheless, the YOHO Treasure Island Hotel Macau, with its exceptional location, state-of-the-art facilities, and refined service, is undoubtedly an ideal choice for travelers seeking a high-quality Macau experience, especially couples and business professionals.

This isn't my first time staying at the Andaz, but this visit was really disappointing. It coincided with the Thyssenkrupp Elevator conference, so the whole place was chaotic and noisy. Two people hogging an entire row of seats with no one managing it was frustrating. I didn't even bother going to the evening lounge; I just figured it would be like a marketplace. They don't even put plastic slippers in the room anymore, I wonder if they've been 'exploited' too much... The toilet was leaking, and the outlets weren't working for charging. I definitely won't be staying there again. After moving to the St. Regis, even though the room was much older, the service was absolutely incredible.

When visiting Macau, if you're looking for a hotel that's affordable and convenient for shopping and leisure, Broadway Macau is the perfect choice! I recommend crossing the border via Hengqin Port. Take the Galaxy shuttle bus to Crystal Palace, then transfer to the small循環線 (circular line) minibus which will drop you right at the Broadway Macau entrance. The front desk staff were lovely and very enthusiastic, helping us check in smoothly. Since we arrived early and our room wasn't ready yet, we stored our luggage and went out to explore. From here, you can easily walk to Galaxy, Studio City, Parisian, and Londoner. Taipa Village (官也街) is also within walking distance. We returned in the afternoon after shopping, got our room key cards, and headed to our room. We had a twin room with a separate shower and bath in the bathroom. The bedding was comfortable, and once the curtains were drawn and lights off, there was no light pollution in the room, ensuring a great night's sleep. On the second evening, I went for a run. For fellow running enthusiasts, I suggest heading towards Ocean Gardens (海洋花园) – it has a comfortable running path and offers lovely night views of the Hou Kong River. On the third day, checking out was a breeze; just drop your room card into the express check-out box. It was only after we checked out that we discovered a pedestrian bridge directly connecting to Galaxy. By walking through Galaxy and exiting via the side door near Crystal Palace, you can then walk to The Venetian! The first two days we walked all the way around the hotel perimeter, which was exhausting! We were laughing at our own stupidity, haha. Oh, and the room I booked included a few soft drinks from the mini-fridge, which was a nice touch! I highly recommend this hotel! It's incredibly convenient for going out for a run, shopping, and finding food. Plus, there are buses right outside that can take you to places like Grand Lisboa!
