Everything about this hotel was great; I'll definitely stay here again. We got a room upgrade with a partial sea view, though unfortunately, it was cloudy both days we were there. The toiletries and amenities were incredibly comprehensive. The room had a coffee machine with coffee grounds, so you could make your own coffee, plus Tea WG tea and four bottles of Watsons water. There was also a water heater. The room itself was clean and spacious, which is a real rarity in space-constrained Hong Kong. On the 15th floor, there's a supermarket and eateries, and on the 3rd floor, you'll find the Hopewell Centre mall with plenty of food and shopping options. It's also connected to the MTR. Downstairs, on the small streets, there are authentic Hong Kong-style 'bing sutt' (cafes). The A11 bus to the airport isn't far either. Plus, it's really close to Central and Causeway Bay. Super convenient!

Flawless location, facilities, and service! Having stayed at many Ritz properties, the one in Hong Kong is definitely top-tier. The executive lounge is on the 116th floor, and the Ctrip group discount offered great value for money. Our room was upgraded to one with Victoria Harbour night views, and complimentary welcome fruits were provided. Due to environmental policies, hotels in Hong Kong no longer offer bottled water like those in mainland China, but this hotel still provides large glass bottles of drinking water, which is very convenient. The swimming pool water temperature was incredibly comfortable, always around 30 degrees Celsius, making it the best among all Ritz-Carltons I've stayed at. However, it seems there's only a wet sauna, no dry sauna. The executive lounge also offers excellent food, and the staff's attitude is superb! The hotel's location in West Kowloon is very convenient for getting anywhere, and there's a shopping mall right downstairs. Plus, Tin Lung Heen, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant, is located within the hotel. Highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant stay. Very clean and comfortable room with city view. Friendly staff and service members. Only minor thing we had was when checking in they gave us a room for the 17th floor, although we booked a room for the 23rd-33rd floor. After consulting our booking company ourselves and more than one hour later we eventually got a room om floor 27.

Thanks for the birthday cakes for my dad. Location is great, everything is nearby. Great staff service, they greet you whenever they see you. Very old hotel but is well maintained. Room carpet definitely need to change as it has the typical old and dirty smell. Amenities is great. Gym is well equipped and 24hrs which is great. The hair dryer is way too old and weak. Maybe is time to change to a new one. There's filtered tap water in the room which is very good and environmental friendly. Overall is great. Check out is 11pm BTW. Realised most hotel in hkg and Macau need to check out at 11am which I find it weird as most hotel in the world check out at 12pm. Check in was 3pm but the room was only ready until 4pm. So that's kinda ridiculous when theres no extention of time to check out at 12pm.

I stayed here for a few days in 2019, though I've forgotten the name it had back then. It's now operated by Hyatt, and it was great then and it's great now. The location in North Point is much livelier than it used to be years ago. It's not far from anywhere, with super convenient public transportation by both land and sea. There's no shortage of local buzz and amenities nearby either – all in all, pretty good 🙂 The kids really enjoyed exploring North Point, a small workout with big rewards.

The room was really big and spacious, and all the disposable amenities were well-stocked. The USB charging ports directly on the power outlets in the room were super convenient! The mini-bar was incredibly well-stocked and everything was free – good, good! Parking was quite easy and didn't block the road, haha. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, but there are lots of food options nearby! I highly recommend the hand rolls at the small plaza across the street! I might even stay here again just for those next time.

Hotel near Mong Kok,Hong Kong 13.3% of visitors choose this area
Jjojowumi 2026.05.05
The hotel is located above the MOKO shopping mall, offering convenient access to various shops and a wide selection of dining options, including a Yata supermarket on the 5th floor. Transportation is also a breeze, as it's directly connected to Mong Kok East Station; you can take the escalator to the lobby and walk through the mall straight to the MTR. If you have luggage or are traveling with children, I recommend booking through Ctrip for a private car transfer, which will be much more convenient. You can also walk to Mong Kok via a covered walkway, and Langham Place is just a 10-minute walk away. The hotel housekeeping is excellent, and the room service staff, front desk, and bellhops are all very polite. We booked a family twin room with two 1.5-meter beds. Given that space is at a premium in Hong Kong, the room was quite spacious. The only downside was the weak shower pressure, and the bathtub was pretty useless. When showering inside it, there was very little standing room, and the drain was a bit clogged, causing the water to drain slowly and accumulate.

The room was spacious, and the bathroom was particularly impressive with a spa-like feel and excellent water pressure. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The location is great, making it easy to get to the beach. It's a very versatile hotel, suitable for families, conferences, business travelers, and tour groups.

First time here, stayed on the executive floor, and overall I was quite satisfied. The front desk service was excellent; there was a young man whose Mandarin was clear and fluent, and he was very warm and attentive. He processed our early check-in, introduced the hotel's free shuttle bus, and even lent us a universal adapter. I think his name was A**son – I made a note of it at the time, but I've forgotten half of it since… A special shout-out to him! (May 2nd) The downside is that the hotel was too cold… The central air conditioning couldn't be turned off, and the fan was noisy at night. Also, I hope the executive lounge adds more staff who can speak Mandarin.

Poor service at Lung King Heen. Room Experience: Most of the concierge and front office staff were professional and attentive. I really appreciate that when our room turned out to be noisy, the Front Office Manager (a gentleman) actively handled it and moved us to another room. Room hygiene was pretty good; as someone with high standards for cleanliness, I noted that it was cleaned twice a day, in the morning and evening. I recall that on the first night, a female housekeeper entered and exited the room without any communication or expression, completely lacking warm service. Lung King Heen, however, was the worst experience I had! Dining on the evening of February 19th: From the moment we stepped in, the first server we encountered had a scowl on her face. Since we had a baby, the high chair provided didn't allow the baby's legs to fit, so I asked the server if the tray could be removed temporarily. This server continued to scowl and said no. I asked, 'Is it that you don't know how, or it simply can't be removed?' The server shouted back at me, 'It just can't be removed!' Afterwards, other servers overheard the situation and suggested getting a different high chair. The server with the terrible attitude went to get a replacement, which took about 10 minutes (I didn't check the exact time, but it felt like a very long wait). The high chair she brought back was wobbly! By then, this rude server had left, and another server finally brought a high chair that worked properly. Afterwards, I spoke to their manager and described the entire process. I expressed that I was very unwilling to pay the service charge for this meal, as I hadn't received a single pleasant look from the moment I entered. I was in no mood to eat this meal, but because we had a child, my husband persuaded me to just let it go and continue eating. The restaurant manager's explanation was a stark contrast to the front office manager's. The front office manager made us feel professional, valued, and cared for when addressing an issue. The restaurant manager, on the other hand, was very official. It made me realize that the team's quality reflects the leadership. I never expected such low-level service from a luxury hotel, let alone a Michelin-starred restaurant like Lung King Heen. Afterwards, I looked at the negative reviews for Lung King Heen, including on Xiaohongshu, and realized it wasn't an isolated incident. I urge mainland Chinese compatriots who speak Mandarin to choose carefully. This kind of service isn't worth going out of your way for.

XXiangshoulvtudexiaohaiFacilities: For a family-friendly hotel, the pool is perfect for toddlers and young children! There's also a small play area that costs HKD 110. Cleanliness: Very clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Environment: Built by the sea and next to Ocean Park, the scenery is beautiful, and the sea view is top-notch. Service: We drove there, and overnight parking cost HKD 500, which is quite expensive. Aside from the front desk staff, who weren't great, the rest of the service was good.

TTsuribiExcellent Horizon club staff. All thanks to Leo, Reine, David, Gordon, and Cloe. Always welcoming us with a wide smile. Thanks to Chef Hardy Hui, we gained weight hahaha. Last day of CNY my parents needed vegan breakfast and he delivered in style. 5 star! Great variety of food, execllent service and ambience at the Horizon club is fabulous. We have to come back again. Cafe TOO, your breakfast was outstanding. Your dinner buffet is out of those world. My mum eat very little yet she was chomping it down. Very fresh ingredients all the way. Not forgetting the wonderful housekeeping team and special thanks to a lady named Eva. I heard you were responsible for my room. You are instrumental and noticed our preference and acted accordingly. Thank you and sorry we didn't meet in person. Maybe next trip. We really enjoyed our stay and the Horizon club initiative to respond immediately to whatever it takes to make our stay very comfortable. We thank you!

SSolo traveller 888Had a fantastic stay at W Hong Kong. The bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect after long days exploring the city. The pool was a real highlight, with amazing views and a great atmosphere to relax in. Location-wise, it couldn’t be more convenient—right next to the rail station with a direct train to the airport, which made travel seamless. Would definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserLet's start with the positives: 1. The hotel environment is beautiful. 2. The hotel rooms are spacious. 3. The hotel rooms are bright. 4. The staff's attitude is good. Now for the downsides: 1. There was a constant buzzing noise in the room. We turned off the air conditioning, but the noise persisted. I'm not sure what the source was. 2. When I booked, it said the reservation included breakfast for two. However, at mealtime, we were told that breakfast wasn't included at all, not even for one person. Even after showing them the order details, we were still told we needed to wait for it to be processed. Then we were pulled aside for several minutes, which was incredibly awkward! Finally, someone who seemed like a manager let us in. Being pulled aside and waiting those few minutes was super embarrassing! I'm not sure if this was an oversight by the check-in staff or some other issue, but I hope such problems can be reduced in the future.

GGuest UserHygiene: Extremely satisfied. The bathroom was spotless and had a pleasant scent. Facilities: Very comprehensive, even a microwave and safe are provided. Environment: Offers distant mountain views and close-up river views. Service: I'd like to give a special shout-out to a male staff member at the front desk. The hotel's official check-in time is 3 PM, but he managed to get us a very satisfactory room and allowed us to check in at 12 PM. The service was truly thoughtful. Plus, the hotel's soundproofing is excellent. I'll definitely be recommending ALVA HOTEL BY AKWA to all my friends and family.

GGuest UserThis was my second stay at Kerry Hotel, and after a great first experience, this one really soured my impression. I've stayed in many star-rated hotels, and it's quite common for staff to help bring a cup of coffee to the table during breakfast. Here, however, my request was denied, and I was vaguely told where the coffee machine was. Being denied isn't the issue; what's laughable is that immediately after I was refused, another staff member agreed to get coffee for the girl at the next table! So, does your hotel staff discriminate based on who you are? When I checked out, the doorman seemed enthusiastic about helping with my luggage, but only took it to the car's trunk. As soon as the driver got out, he just walked away, even prompting the local driver to complain about the hotel's terrible service! Moving luggage to the trunk is part of their job. For thousands a night, you'd expect better service! If you want to earn money from mainland guests, stop treating them differently.

JJianglixiaojieThis hotel is super close to the Tseung Kwan O MTR station, just a 5-minute walk away. The facilities are excellent, and the front desk staff are professional and enthusiastic. Communication in Mandarin was also perfectly fine. The room was fully equipped, and we absolutely loved the one we booked. It had a massive king-sized bed on the bottom level and two 1.2-meter single beds on the upper level, perfect for the kids. Our family of four slept very comfortably with plenty of space – no crowding at all. The bathroom was also huge, with a giant vanity area and a large bathtub for soaking. The shower and toilet areas were completely separate and didn't interfere with each other, with excellent wet/dry separation. The hotel offers many thoughtful amenities, like a dehumidifier and a mini-fridge. The staff even brought us an HDMI cable so the kids could happily watch cartoons. Furthermore, the hotel provides a free shuttle bus service that takes guests to Harbour City, West Kowloon Station, and Kowloon MTR Station. There are several schedules throughout the day, so you can flexibly choose a time that suits your plans. The bus driver was also very patient and helped us with our luggage, providing thoughtful service. I have an incredibly high impression of this five-star hotel and will definitely return if I have the chance!
