There's no front desk, but customer service arranged everything clearly before check-in, so getting into the room was very smooth. The location is incredibly convenient; the subway station exit is right downstairs. Walking left or right from the entrance, you can reach Victoria Harbour and Yau Ma Tei easily. It's also very close to Don Quijote. The room isn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate for two people for three nights, and all the in-room amenities were complete. If I have the chance to visit again, I'd definitely choose this place. The value for money is really high.

This is a lively, budget-friendly hostel, perfect for solo travelers. As you can see in the second picture, there's a whole wall in the corridor covered with notes left by previous guests. The owner is an incredibly kind and helpful young woman who patiently answers all your questions. The room, though not large, is very clean and even comes with a universal adapter. The hotel is located right above the Mong Kok shopping street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. There are some excellent restaurants nearby, and it's easy to reach places like Sham Shui Po and Kowloon Tong by subway. The soundproofing is also quite good; once the windows are closed, you can't hear a thing, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep.

Stayed for three nights with the kids. The guesthouse was super easy to find, located in Tsim Sha Tsui, one of Hong Kong's busiest areas. Right downstairs, there are A21 bus stops and subway entrances, making transportation incredibly convenient. You can totally rely on Gaode Maps for accurate navigation, whether you're walking or taking the bus/subway. It's just a few hundred meters' walk to Victoria Harbour, the Avenue of Stars, the Space Museum, the Science Museum, the Art Museum, and the Museum of History. I even walked to Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei myself. Getting anywhere is a breeze. The room was small, and the facilities were average, but it did have a universal adapter, so you don't need to bring your own. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and reliable. The accommodation felt very safe and quiet. The owner, from Hainan, is a really nice person and easy to communicate with. You can reach out to them for any issues during your stay! I also wish the owner a prosperous business!

On a business trip to Hong Kong, my company only covered accommodation up to Shenzhen. Not wanting to deal with the hassle of crossing the Futian Port early in the morning, I decided to pay for a night's stay in Hong Kong myself. This hostel is about a 5-minute walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR station, which is super convenient. The building's front desk has 24-hour security personnel. After checking in on the 2nd floor, you use your room card to access your floor in the elevator, which made me feel very safe. I stayed in a quad room with an in-room toilet and shower. Toilet paper, shampoo, and shower gel were provided. Other toiletries, towels, and slippers could be purchased at the front desk. Each bunk had a blackout curtain, and the bedside power sockets were compatible with mainland Chinese plugs, which was really handy. The bedside lamp offered soft lighting. Overall, it was very convenient. The best part? A night's stay here only cost about 70 RMB! This is Hong Kong, you know? That's pretty much the same price as in mainland China. It's an incredible value for money!

In Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, the location is great, with plenty of food options nearby. It's one of those small, subdivided rooms from a family apartment. It was reasonably clean. These subdivided rooms typically don't have windows. The hot water and air conditioning worked well. Although the space is small, once you close the door, it's fine. The owner also responds if you have any issues. My only complaint is that someone was banging on the door early in the morning – I saw an old lady – and then again at night, which was very strange and really disturbed my rest.

I chose this place primarily for its excellent location; it's right outside the Yau Ma Tei MTR exit, and there's an airport bus stop downstairs. From my window, I could see the famous Nathan Road, and just behind it is Portland Street, known as the territory of 'Sister 13' from the Hung Hing gang. Here, you get a unique blend of prosperous, bustling Hong Kong and the grittiness of a 'sin city' with its streetwalkers and mixed crowd. It's a fascinating experience. If it's your first time in Hong Kong and you want to see the city without a 'Hong Kong movie' filter, then this is the place to be. Secondly, I wanted to experience just how cramped living in Hong Kong can be, and I certainly got that experience. There's not much to say about the room itself; it's probably a bit worse than a 1000 RMB-a-month rental in Shenzhen. However, it's cheap, so it's a good option if you're on a tight budget. If you have even slight expectations for your accommodations, I'd advise you to think twice! The owner is nice, and the service is attentive. They pretty much do the best they can with the hardware available. All in all, this place met my expectations for Hong Kong…

We stayed at this place in Chungking Mansions for 5 nights. We booked a room for two with separate beds and windows on two sides, which was a big plus — having windows made it possible to ventilate the room, which is not always common in this building. The room and the guesthouse overall were clean, which we really appreciated. The location is also very convenient, close to the waterfront in Kowloon and within walking distance of everything you might need. There are a few downsides to consider. The bathroom is extremely small and not very ergonomic — the toilet is positioned in such a way that when you sit on it, your legs extend outside the bathroom, making it impossible to close the door. It’s hard to imagine how three people could comfortably stay in this room. The water heater in the shower worked fine, but the hot water supply is limited. Wi-Fi is available, though not very stable. There are hot and cold water dispensers in the hallway, which is convenient. The room also has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a TV. A nice detail is the storage space under the beds — it’s quite spacious and practical for luggage. Overall, the price is quite low, and if you’re traveling on a budget, this can be a good value for money, especially considering the location.

Had to do late check in, and the hotel was swift in responding with self check in details. Best part is the location, just opposite Kowloon Park to have an early morning stroll, and accessible to food and bars nearby too. Just 10 mins via metro from Kowloon West train station too.

The hotel is quite clean, but most importantly, its location is excellent. Last night, we walked to Victoria Harbour in just 12 minutes, and it's less than a ten-minute walk to Wah Sao Bing Sutt. We also walked to a small restaurant called 'Luxury' last night, recommended by Nicholas Tse and Eason Chan, which was also about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. It's incredibly convenient, and the MTR station is only about 100 meters away. If convenience for getting around is your priority, I definitely recommend it.

The room amenities are excellent, especially the showerhead – the water pressure is strong and even, which made showering incredibly refreshing. The location is superb, right next to Prince Edward MTR station, making it super convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The bed felt a bit soft, which I found very comfortable for a good night's sleep.

NNomijI am writing this based on my experience. We all have different opinions, and satisfactions. So overall for me is a 10/10 experience, its near at the mtr, busses and taxi’s. Also, a place comfy enough to sleep with. On our 8 days and 7 nights experience, we never encounter any difficulties or problems. The Aircon (AC), heater, lights, and flush are working. If you are going on a vacation here at HK, and looking for a place that is comfortable to sleep with. Few walks, from the hostel to MTR station, and your destination. Its also, near at K11 Mall, and victoria harbour which make this hostel a good option. And also, the fist day, we noticed the notes and its kinda witty, and we loved it 😂. It doesn’t matter to us, what our hostel looks like, as long as it was nice and comfortable to stay with. Note: If you didn’t receive and towels, you’re out of plastics, tissue. DON’T hesitate to message them (they are nice and friendly) and ask for it. If i’ll go back again, I’ll probably choose this hostel! I’m writing this right while riding the bus, and some of you may not care. Anyways, the date is April 30, 2026. Very Recent. Good price, good experience. ❤️

ᠣᠮᠣᠷᠬᠠᠭ ᠴᠢᠨᠣ᠎ᠠAfter all, it's Hong Kong, so the room was indeed small, but the service was still good. People might be worried about staying in Chungking Mansions, thinking it might be a problem, but in reality, it barely had any impact. The security was also very good; it's not as scary as some online stories make it out to be.

GGuest UserIt’s a shame as it could be a good place it’s got the makings but needs some attention..The worst thing is they need new mattresses in the pods as there about 2cm thick it’s like sleeping on the floor I was waking up every night having to move as I was in a bit of pain and there was cock roaches coming out of the fridge as it needed a clean Also the toilet paper needs more in every day as it was running out daily. Also the aircon was leaking next to my pod I sent them a message to turn it off as it was not that hot when I was there ans they had it in the other rooms so you could of left the door open or  better still get it fixed as I was there for 4 day and nothing I would not stay again but if them issues was taken care of I would as it’s not a bad place.

CChiapanecooSimple and clean place to stay. Fantastic location in Kowloon, near everything on that side. Fantastic wifi. Comfortable beds with curtain. There is hot/cool drinking water. No common area. Guests are mostly mainland Chinese. Be aware of the check-in process before booking!! If you don't already have an active and unblocked WeChat account, I suggest you do not book here. - Host does not respond to Trip.com messaging. Only via WeChat (but not a WeChat account linked to the phone number in the booking confirmation) - To find the WeChat code for check-in, locate ”Tsimshatsui Mansion” on Google maps. When you arrive, find elevator #1 or #2 (see attached map), and go to the 8th floor. Other elevators won't access the room - only use those two elevators! - Once you reach the door, scan the WeChat code, send them a screenshot of your booking confirmation, and within a few minutes they'll send you the codes. (I've attached a picture of the WeChat code.) - Be advised that WeChat is incredibly difficult for many foreigners to set up. It's not a simple app like WhatsApp or Line. You often need to find a person with a mainland WeChat account (not a HK account) to authenticate you, though even that fails sometimes. Don't wait until you're at the door to try to make an account. - Without Wechat, I'm not sure if you can check-in. There was one non-Chinese guest who stood outside for a while trying to set up WeChat, until a kind neighbor happened to pass by and scanned the WeChat code for her. - Host could simply send the check-in codes via Trip.com messaging. It would make their life a lot easier and things incredibly better for non-Chinese guests. I recommend they change to doing this.

AAnonymous UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and overall, it was an excellent experience that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and professional service provided by the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the front desk personnel were very welcoming, attentive, and helpful in answering all my questions. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, with soft linens and quality pillows that made it easy to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, including complimentary toiletries, a well-stocked minibar, and reliable high-speed Wi-Fi. The room design was modern and elegant, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the hotel’s cleanliness and attention to detail. Housekeeping did an excellent job maintaining the room daily, ensuring everything was tidy and fresh. The common areas such as the lobby, hallways, and dining spaces were equally well-kept, which reflected the hotel’s commitment to high standards. The hotel’s facilities were also impressive. The restaurant served a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the breakfast selection was especially satisfying, offering both local and international options. The amenities, including the fitness center and other recreational facilities, were well-equipped and convenient for guests who want to relax or stay active. In terms of location, the hotel is very convenient and accessible. It is situated near key attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. Despite being centrally located, the environment remained peaceful and comfortable. What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional customer service. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure guests felt comfortable and valued. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to assist made a significant difference in my overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service. It offers great value for money and provides a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to my next visit.

GGuest UserIt's okay, but it's a bit awkward when you come home late at night and the guard is sleeping by the roadside. There's no 24-hour front desk, but there is a guard sleeping by the side. If you're not too picky, it's fine. The room is small, just enough. The location is great, right outside the MTR station and bus station in the TST area. Free water and they even provide an adapter and a dipper.

The room was clean and tidy, with hot water readily available and a bathtub. There's also a wardrobe, and you can borrow a charging adapter from the front desk if you need one. It's really close to Victoria Harbour, just a short walk away. We got here last night after our flight, rested a bit, then walked over to the Avenue of Stars at Victoria Harbour. Highly recommend!
