Ancient City of Kashgar
The location is very good. The surroundings are very good during the day and night. The service is friendly and the travel information is provided. We like it. There are snacks, fruits, nuts and dried fruits on the table at the entrance. The proprietress is very beautiful. I hope to stay again next time. The night view around the accommodation is invincible, and the proprietress is reliable and kind, leaving a very good impression. On the first day, the proprietress offered to provide Uyghur hats for us to take to Khan Bazaar to take pictures. We stayed here for 4 nights, loved it and would recommend it. My daughter was not feeling well in the last two days, and the proprietress was also enthusiastic and caring, providing medical needs and reassuring our family.

The location of the hotel is good. The surroundings are very convenient. The room is clean and the bedding is comfortable. Especially the lady at the front desk, Shati Guli, is very, very nice. She saw my dog and ran over to touch the restaurant downstairs. Mr. Bayi was also very delicious. I agreed to allow the dog to go in. Shatiguli helped me talk and agreed. There is a small forest behind the hotel, which is very convenient for walking the dog. Next time I go in, I must stay here.
Ancient City Yashe Hostel

Ancient City of Kashgar
They are currently the only hostel accommodating foreigners as of July 2023. Most of the hotels Trip. com provides don't allow foreigners. But Trip reps are very helpful via chat calling up options for you - and refund you if it turns out a booking denies you. And even compensate you for the hardship. Best booking company ever. The only negative that can't be changed is not enough toilets (porcelain hole in the ground, not a proper western toilet seat if that's important to you ) for the amount of people. I think my floor accommodates 14 people with just 1 shower/toilet. The shower is in the toilet space so it's very easy to slip and get your foot in the toilet floor hole.. Wear flip flops. If someone is in the shower and you need toilet, you better be able to hold it in. Also, the beds are thin flat japanese style matresses so I might not be your cup of tea. Besides that, the location is great. It's in the old town right on the wall above the nightlife bar street but the loud music don't reach the rooms. Rooms have fans and strong AC. That said, if there are Chinese in your room, they will ask to turn both off. They like it hot. .. I came on a loaded touring bicycle. They found space for it in the employee/storage room on the 2nd floor. I have a large bike and was able to carry it up the narrow stairs. If you're more than 1 person on a bicycle tour together, the bikes might not fit in the hostel. Maybe lock them outside. With tons of cameras and police, no one will dare steal them. At worse, people will pose next to your loaded bike as they did mine when I stopped for a cold beer before checking in. The staff spoke good English considering how remote Kashgar is and were very helpful and kind. Unlike typical hostels outside China , people are respectful and quiet here.
Lavande Hotel (Turfan Grand Cross)

The hotel is in a good location, easy to find on the main road, with a parking lot, convenient parking. The room is spacious and has new facilities. The room is clean and sanitary. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the sink meets hotel standards. The bedding is also very good, and the sleep is very comfortable. The hotel has a washing machine for washing clothes, and the cost performance is very high. I stayed there for a few days while playing in Turpan. The Xinjiang girl at the hotel front desk was warm and polite, and the check-in experience was very good!

I visited this hotel for a total of 3 nights over a couple of weeks. Each time I arrived late and left early. So to be perfectly honest I cannot give a thorough review of the Hotel and Amenities. Check in was smooth, checking passports and health codes delays things, but it is a necessary requirement at the moment. My rooms were spacious, comfortable and well appointed. I had views over the suburbs and one over the nearby buildings. Breakfast was good quality buffet on the occasion I was able to eat. A wide variety of food options to suit all types of travelers. Do not anticipate a big plate of Bacon if you are expecting a Western full breakfast however. Swimming pool was closed according to a disappointed travel companion.Downstairs bar area was often unattended. But there is a shop in the parking area just outside to the left, selling basic soft drinks and beer and snacks, if you cannot get bar service. Check in staff were friendly. Bed comfortable, but others in my group complained ”too hard” or ”too soft” that really is a personal preference. Location, there is a huge shopping complex literally outside the hotel, cross the car park and enter a huge complex (you will be on the 5th floor) that caters for almost any need that I could think of. Restaurant area and night spots were a 10 - 15 minute ride away in a taxi. But there was what looked like a night market and Plaza at street level outside the hotel. I never got to check it out. If I stayed at Urumqi again I would probably choose a cheaper place closer to the airport. When all I needed was a bed the extra travel time and cost is not worth it. If staying several days I would choose this hotel again. That is honestly all I can contribute.

I like the simplicity of the room design - it is clean and practical. The staff was very friendly, however they sent up a gift with a robot butler at 22:30 when we were already asleep. It was were confusing and frustrating, because we were anxious to get a good nights sleep before we catch our flight the next day.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is very close to the Grand Bazaar and Hotan Second Street. The hotel is newly opened. The decoration is simple and fashionable. I like the style. It is also very clean. The hotel is equipped with a gym and laundry room. The facilities are complete. The windows You can enjoy the scenery outdoors, and when winter comes you can see the snow-capped mountains. The airport pick-up service is really attentive, the Mercedes-Benz business airport pick-up was well arranged hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. For friends who come from afar, this service is really touching and convenient. I give the boss a thumbs up 👍 Maybe because the hotel is newly opened, the rooms have the smell of newly renovated rooms. If the smell can be dissipated more, it will probably be an excellent choice next time~
Lanbo Hotel (Kuqa Railway Station)

The interior is still clean and hygienic, but the windows are a bit dirty. The service is okay and the room is relatively wide. But the surrounding environment is a bit poor. There is a main road in front and a railway behind. There is no way to avoid it. There is only one restaurant more than 100 meters away. Outside, there are no shops. The advantage is that the train station is only over 800 meters away, but it is a bit far from the city.

Kashgar Pedestrian Street/People's Square
The environment is beautiful, the location is good, transportation and parking are convenient, the rooms are comfortable and hygienic, and the service staff are very enthusiastic, especially the front desk manager Aili is excellent. He provides good service to relatives and friends, and a rich breakfast. The scenery outside the window is great, and the design of the small furnishings in the room is also very unique. Everything is very good. I will stay at the Mercure Kashgar Ancient City Hotel next time.
