Love this hotel. Location is fantastic. Just next to the Kumamoto train, tram and bus station. Booked the lifestyle room, with 2 double bed and a sofa bed for 3 adults and comes with access to 4th floor for unlimited liquor, soft drinks, juice, tea, nuts and instant noodles. However, orange juice ran out on 3rd day and dispenser dispense super diluted juice. Anyway small matter. Toilet area is big (comparing to Japan standard), with split toilet, bathroom, wash basin, wardrobe and change area. Interestingly with see-through bathroom door. However, you can lock the entire toilet access. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Price is also reasonable.

The open-air hot spring in this hotel requires a three-minute shuttle bus ride. It has five hot spring pools, great hot springs, and delicious meals, but the service staff will not help deliver luggage to the room.

Location of this hotel is very convenient! With great Castle view! Room is spacious and clean! Staff are helpful and nice, even met one speak Cantonese👍 Definitely will recommend this hotel to friends and of course will stay here on my next trip!👍👍👍

This is a very conveniently located hotel, right between two tram stops. If you plan to travel around, a one-day pass is highly recommended as it's very cost-effective; otherwise, a single ride will set you back 200 yen. There's an Aeon supermarket about a 15-minute walk away, perfect for grabbing affordable groceries to cook your own meals. It's a FAV-affiliated property, so the kitchen amenities aren't as extensive as at the main FAV hotels, but they are perfectly sufficient for most needs. The only thing to note is that while there's a washing machine, it's not a washer-dryer combo, so keep that in mind if you have laundry drying needs. The room features both a Western bed and a tatami area. It's spacious enough to comfortably open up multiple suitcases, and I believe it could easily accommodate three adults.

I had an enchanting two-night stay at this hotel, where the picturesque view of the river from my room added a serene touch to the experience. The onsen was a highlight, boasting a spacious interior and a tranquil outdoor area. Highly recommend for those seeking a blend of natural beauty, exceptional food, and attentive service.

I stayed with my parents, and the location was great, right behind Suizenji Park, within walking distance. Dinner was also delicious, with a sophisticated flavor that adults will love. There was a hot spring and a family bath, and the shared bath was clean. I would definitely stay at this inn again if I visit Kumamoto again.

Our stay at the ryokan was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a beautiful blend of traditional charm and modern comforts. The tatami rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, with a calming ambiance that made it easy to unwind. We also loved the small touches, like the yukata robes provided for guests and the attentive staff who made sure we were comfortable at all times. The whole experience felt like a perfect balance of tradition and luxury.

The location is superb. After arriving at Kumamoto Airport, you can take the airport bus to 'Kamitori' and the hotel is right there. It's in the heart of Kumamoto city, directly opposite a classic department store with Kumamoto-themed products, perfect for shopping. The tram stop is just a short walk away, offering easy access to the JR station and various attractions. The commercial pedestrian street is right next door, making it incredibly convenient for finding food every day. From my room window, I could see Kumamoto Castle. The room was clean, and I was especially pleased with the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Although the hotel is a bit old, the rooms have been renovated, and the air conditioning is very powerful. Upon entering the room, there was a faint scent of disinfectant, which made me feel very assured about the cleanliness – typical of an established Japanese brand. You can tell the hallway carpets are old, but there was no musty smell, so I was satisfied with the hygiene. Next time I visit Kumamoto, I'll definitely stay here again. It's just too convenient!

Nothing can be complained for me. The staffs were very helpful. A little fancy instagramable breakfast. All attractions are near - Kumamoto Castle, Kumamon Square, Department & Convenient Stores, Walking street including restaurants. Room design makes kids having fun and a good time. All in all worth it.

The room was quite spacious, but the facilities felt a bit outdated. There was a slight odor in the bathroom of our 16th-floor room, and the cleaning service was just average. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation, being about a 15-minute walk to Kumamoto Station and approximately 5 minutes to Gion Station on Line A. However, there are no convenience stores nearby; you have to walk about 10 minutes to find one, which was a bit inconvenient.
