SSkeeterThe hotel was right on the beach. Our room could access directly into the dunes. Great sunsets every night (from beach not room). From room could sadly not see the sea as the dunes were in front of it. Rooms were refitted so looked new and modern. Rest of hotel is rather old. Swimming pool (indoor only) old. Spa needed to pay. Breakfast was ok. There is a busservice included with the hotel. Stops right in front of entrance hotel. Show your booking or card and can take bus. Convenient. Beachclub in front was nice and active. Good food. Enjoyed our stay.

AAzfarOne of the main reasons I booked this hotel was it being a historic hotel, the website showed very nice pictures, but unfortunately the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which were not mentioned at reservation time. Most of the hotel is off limits due to the renovations, leaving only Motel experience for the guests. The service staff are great and took steps to mitigate the situation. But if you’re looking for the historic feel, It’s not available currently

DDangeLocated in ”Draheten”, close to the bus stop of 320. The front desk is polite and welcoming and the service is very strong. The restaurant is large and quiet, and the dishes are very good. The room was clean and tidy and the view from the window was very good.

I really began to appreciate the lengths that folks in The Netherlands go to to keep their business operations sustainable as well. Gorgeous town with lots of friendly people. I fell in love with the place. I would definitely go again, and choose this location to stay in. The view from my room was very pretty, as well.

The location is not far from city center.
The breakfast doesnt have much options.
Overall it is good hotel to stay. I was expected they had wellness tho!

You can't order by room number; you have to pay for each order immediately.
Only one receptionist could say ”good morning.”
Breakfast was well-prepared, and one of the breakfast staff spoke Dutch. The restaurant staff didn't, speaking poor English.
The rooms were kept tidy.
But there's no risk of repeat guests, due to the disinterested staff, with a few exceptions, during breakfast.
