Service: Extremely satisfied with the service attitude, I really liked it. Great, great. Convenient for getting around, easy and quick access to transportation, and very accessible. Fast, convenient, and easy to get to places.

We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton for a self-driving trip during the National Day holiday. Parking was convenient and free, the service was warm, and the accommodations were comfortable. We were extremely satisfied. The hotel is very close to historical and cultural attractions like Quzhou Ancient City Wall, Shuijingmen Scenic Area, Kong Family Temple of the Southern Branch, and Quzhou Museum. We went exploring in the evening, and the ancient city was bustling with activity – it was fantastic!

Stepping into the lobby of Shaoxing Hotel, I finally understood what it means to find luxury 'hidden' in Jiangnan. It’s not the ostentatious, gilded kind, but rather white walls and dark tiles, winding paths leading to private courtyards, like a meticulously preserved Jiangnan garden. Passing through moon gates, circling around rockeries and ponds, Fushan Mountain is just a stone's throw away, with lush tree shadows stretching right to the windows. The front desk didn't hand me a room card, but a heavy brass key tied with a silk ribbon, feeling as if it could unlock the gates of some ancient mansion. The elevator walls were adorned with ink paintings, local masters' renditions of Shen Garden – the willow branches in the painting still drooped, as if you could hear the sighs of Lu You and Tang Wan. Suddenly, I realized that a five-star rating isn't displayed on a wall; it's hidden in the details – the weight of that brass key, the warmth of a handwritten note, the uncontainable pride in the tea master's eyes when talking about tea. The next morning, I was woken by birdsong. Pulling back the curtains, an old man was practicing Tai Chi in the courtyard, each movement slow, much like the pace of this city. Breakfast was at the buffet, and beyond the Western options, there was a dedicated Shaoxing snack station – freshly fried stinky tofu, freshly wrapped ai jiao dumplings, and freshly cooked Ciwu Dajian noodles. The chef, a local auntie, muttered as she cooked, “The broth needs to be ample, the noodles firm, and the toppings freshly stir-fried for the best aroma.” When leaving, the front desk asked if my stay was enjoyable. I said it was excellent. Even after driving a long way, I looked back and could still faintly see the white walls of Shaoxing Hotel standing amidst the tree shadows. It’s not flashy, not showy, just like this city – reserving its best for those willing to slow down.

The developer manages the property meticulously, preserving the original charm of the old buildings beautifully. The guesthouses are uniformly run and fully equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. What truly deserves praise is the restroom: luxurious and impeccably clean, not only offering hot water for handwashing but also thoughtfully providing hand lotion. The attention to detail is truly impressive.

Is this hotel secretly Doraemon's pocket? They've managed to fit a whole universe into a tiny room! The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the old town. Wuma Street and Jiangxinyu Island are just a short, leisurely stroll away – perfect for a post-dinner walk. The room itself is definitely 'compact' – a testament to real estate being at a premium – but the amenities are out of this world! All sorts of smart devices winked at me, and with a single touch of a button, I could control everything. I especially have to praise the 'waterfall shower' – as a southerner, it was my first time experiencing the sheer thrill of a shower that felt like 'a thousand feet of falling water.' My loofah might as well retire! The most unbelievable part? There's even an electric massage chair tucked away in the corner! After walking twenty thousand steps, my legs were instantly recharged after a session – it was so effective, I wanted to take it home with me. And the food is just divine. I heard they offer complimentary breakfast, lunch, and dinner (though I only made it for breakfast). The selection isn't huge, but it's absolutely exquisite – the Wenzhou glutinous rice knocked my socks off! Mixed with fried dough crumbs and minced pork, it's a carb-lover's dream come true. Here's the kicker: unlimited free roasted sweet potatoes in the lobby! Who can resist that? Last night, I 'borrowed' five for a late-night snack, and this morning I grabbed a few more to munch on the go. Warm and sweet, it's all about that 'socialist薅羊毛' (taking advantage of freebies) joy. The service also gets extra points – not only were the staff all smiles, but there's even a complimentary laundry service! As a lazy person, I was thrilled; I almost wanted to send all my week's worth of dirty socks to be washed here. In short, this place uses its compact size to create endless joy. They truly understand space management!

I originally planned to book a Marriott or Hilton, but switched to Nanhu Hotel instead. It turns out that was a very wise decision. The hotel's location is superb, perfect for a run or a stroll. You really can't beat it. The design is also very nice; the rooms have a beautiful, spacious Chinese style. The air conditioning heats up incredibly fast, and the view of the pagoda outside is lovely. Someone pouring coffee at breakfast was a nice touch, showing they're moving towards international 5-star standards. However, the lamb noodles, which everyone raves about for breakfast, were just average for me personally. Also, I really liked the red boat-themed ceramic cups in the room and bought some from the hotel. The front desk helped me inquire, and two staff members from housekeeping went back and forth several times during the process – I really appreciate your trouble, thank you 🙏🏻. If I had to point out areas for improvement, the dinner at the hotel was good value and the taste was decent, but the service was a bit slow. The air conditioning made a slight noise at night, and there was a faint renovation smell in the room. But for people who aren't sensitive to these things, it should be fine.

Our villa booking was upgraded to a three-bedroom, three-story unit with a private hot spring garden, which was incredibly spacious. It's perfect for families with kids and is conveniently close to the Dreamland Park by car. Our butler, Lucien, contacted me a day in advance and was incredibly responsive throughout our three-day stay, always attending to our requests promptly. Service was top-notch, and the staff who cleaned the rooms and private hot spring were very thorough. The shuttle service ran frequently, so getting around was easy without long waits. The included hot spring area has a pool with a slide and a small sandy beach, great for kids to burn off energy. It's also very close to the main plaza, making dining and shopping at 7-Eleven super convenient. Aside from the slightly dated facilities, it offers excellent value for money.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The TV had a lot of very interesting shows including English language movies and movies with subtitles. The bar in the lobby is also very nice, the bartender makes very good MaiTais. Definitely recommend!

Transferred from Nanjing to Hangzhou before the new year, with a layover at Xiaoshan Airport. This Holiday Inn Express is conveniently located right next to the airport, and they offer a free shuttle service for early check-in. The room was spacious and bright. The breakfast, with both Western and Chinese options, was simple but perfectly nutritious. Very satisfied!

Cleanliness: The bathroom had a strong cigarette smell, even though I had requested a non-smoking room. This might be due to the room's proximity to the stairwell, which smelled heavily of smoke. Environment: There are many breakfast places nearby, which is good overall. However, the soundproofing in the room isn't great, and I could hear noise from the stairwell at night. Service: The attitude was acceptable. Facilities: The elevator's down button was broken, so I had to press the up button to get the elevator.
