The chapel experience was quite nice, but there is only one shared toilet for more than 20 people, the same for man and women. Dim lights make the room quite private, we didn't see anyone, however beds are very close to each other so you can hear people snore and your bed shakes if someone staying in the pod next to you climbs on the bed. Moreover, as it's dark in the room, people obviously make more noise walking and getting ready in the morning.
The top pod is much smaller than the bottom one as it needs to fit the chapels ceiling. The toilets were clean but very busy, the free breakfast is nice and the staff is friendly.
As my reason to stay was the proximity to the airport, the hotel exceeded my expectations as the room was small but comfy, they have a restaurant for dinner and breakfast attached to the hotel and in minutes I could get a taxi to the airport. Great value for money.
Arrived in the early hours of the after ferry cancelled and then delays. I notified reception of the change and Tomas informed me that the reception was 24 hours and I would be looked after and he would check me in himself. Arrived at 04.30 and met by night receptionist who took me to s room and logged my car registration.
The room was ok but for some reason the wind noise was loud. Next morning I explained to reception who moved me to a well appointed quiet room without any fuss or further comment. The remaining days of my stay were during the huge storm which hit the coast, During my stay the hotel felt safe and secure, and the staff were polite, helpful and pleasant at all times. The hotel may appear as 3* but the rooms and customer service was 5*. Highly recommended hotel based on my personal experience. A final acknowledgment to Ann Mary and Louise who contributed to lovely stay here.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the service was warm and welcoming, but it didn't quite compare to similar rooms in China, so don't have too high expectations.
It was a great stay overall. The location was perfect. It was near the center of Dublin. But was set in a quiet neighborhood just outside it. It is a doable walk to a park set along the water. I loved the Medieval Theme. The staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The dual shower heads are a nice setup. .Request a view of the front of the hotel. The only potential negative is the distance from the airport and the train.
Had to come to help my mother in law into a care home so hillview was close and was ideal nice room and good breakfast and nice man who waited till we got there because we were delayed at luton airport for hour and a half nice people nice location thanks guys

I booked this hotel for my husband who was on a business trip and decided to come along as it gave me a chance to visit Dublin. Am so glad I did. I had a polished, gracious welcome, a lovely room (thankfully facing away from the main streets) which was quiet, stylish but most of all, very comfortable. I enjoyed the vibe in the lobby, it’s well used by guests as well as locals and the breakfast was generous and extensive.
It’s always great when a hotel will continue to look after you after check out and my bags were taken care of and transport advice offered. Perfect stay!
The most comfortable hotel we stayed at during our entire trip in Ireland. Very spacious, bright, and modern. We had a room with an ocean view and truly enjoyed watching the tides come and go. Great breakfast, a nice pub, and a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea. We loved everything :) The only minor downside was that it was a bit too warm in the room.
There was in general nothing wrong with the hotel, however the hotel is very big, has no charme and feels not inviting. The rooms were ok, however our non smoking room was facing the car park above the smoking area. When we opened the window, which we needed to do as the room was smelly at first, we got all the cigarette smell from below.
There were not enough hooks or rails for towels.
The beds were good.
Breakfast was average. The room had not enough seating for the amount of people in the hotel, so we had to wait until a table was cleaned for us. Hot chocolate was not included and needed to be payed for. The poached egg was hard, the bacon showed white fat spots from not being hot enough. I personally would not like to stay there again.

Thank you so, so much to the staff at Generator Dublin.
You have all been awesome and made my first two weeks in Dublin so special!
Moving to a new country can be daunting, but you gave me the best tips and made these hectic days very fun, too!
The only little ”issue” I've had with my stay was the lack of either a kitchen (would've been more than happy to pay for kitchen use!) or vegan options that could be enjoyed with my celiac's disease. That meant eating out and not being able to fully take part in hostel life.
I will be happy to come back one day, regardless!

Excellent hotel! Great location with Dublin Airport only approx 10 minute drive. Safe, secure car park on site Convenient shuttle bus service Lovely, spacious bar/restaurant with great choice of food and drinks. Plus, 24hr coffee dock beside bar. Friendly staff This was my third stay in the hotel, most recently, April 2025 I stayed in a rooftop balcony suite. King-size bed, living area, balcony and loads more. Great comfy rooms
The location was great for my purpose, I had some business to attend to in Fonthill and the hotel was a stone's throw away. Still needed to drive but it was a 5min drive. It is also walking distance from Liffey Valley shopping mall. Its a typical large mall with decent restaurants and a cinema. The hotel is connected to a fitness centre (like a health club) and it offers a gym and swimming pool. Entry is free for hotel guests. Go early, the pool gets crowded after 8.30am. There is ample parking and it's available at a concessionary rate. My only grouse was the lack of toiletries provided. Thankfully I had brought my own set. The toilet only has hand soap and shampoo (but the dispenser was almost empty). Other than that, the room was spacious, clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Worth staying at if you need to be in that area.

We loved the stay. Outdoor golf area, hotel location is too good. Pool and dress changing area should have been cleaner. Hotel staffs are very good. Late checkout until 1PM is free was much helpful. We will visit again. Will recommend to others.
