I booked this place based on good reviews, but I was extremely disappointed.
The toilet hygiene needs serious improvement.
The bidet on the smart toilet was incredibly dirty. After I peed and used the bidet, as soon as I pressed the button, I immediately smelled feces. At first, I thought it was the drain, but my gut told me otherwise. I shifted my body forward, turned around, and looked at the bidet behind and below me. It was truly disgusting – a bunch of fecal stains stuck all over the bidet nozzle. I was shocked and immediately used the shower and soap to clean myself. Then I told my boyfriend. He didn't quite believe me at first. He tried to trigger the toilet sensor with his hand, pressed the bidet, and then stopped it. We both felt nauseous looking at that bidet. My boyfriend then went to the front desk to see if we could change rooms or have someone clean it. But the front desk staff said all rooms were full and the cleaner wasn't available; they could only clean it tomorrow. The staff didn't show any apology, just a look of helplessness. Finally, they asked if it would be convenient for them to enter our room tomorrow morning to clean the toilet. We agreed for them to clean it at 9 AM the next morning. The following day, we were out all day. When we returned in the evening, new towels had been placed, but when we checked the bidet, it still hadn't been cleaned, and the strange smell was still there. We were too tired to complain again because we had to get up at 4 AM for our flight. Luckily, I only chose to stay for two nights.
Also, the water heater was very unstable. When showering, after about 1-2 minutes, the water would turn cold for a second, then immediately go back to hot, repeating like that. It was barely acceptable.
Other aspects were fine. They provide free toiletries and coffee, and there are free umbrellas for rent in the lobby.
The Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo has an excellent location, just about a 5-minute walk to JR Sapporo Station, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious, which is a big plus for a Japanese hotel, allowing you to easily open your suitcase. The service is attentive and efficient, the facilities are comprehensive, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. It's great value for money, suitable for both business and leisure travelers. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sapporo.
This hotel is super convenient! It's right across from JR Hakodate Station, just a 3-minute walk and two crosswalks away. Plus, the tram station is only 200 meters to the left of the hotel entrance. From there, it's a quick 10-minute ride to Jujigai Station, and then a 200-meter walk up a slope to the Hakodateyama Ropeway – perfect for catching the night view, which is a must-see in Hakodate. There's even a bus stop across from the hotel with buses to Goryokaku. The rooms are spacious, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. For the price, this hotel offers incredible value for money!
This hotel is located on the 4th floor of the New Chitose Airport International Terminal. You can see the signs for the hotel on the 3rd floor of the international departure area. Just follow the signs and you'll spot the 'Library Cafe' on your right, up the escalator – that's the hotel entrance. If you have a luggage cart, you can enter through the 3rd-floor door and take the elevator up. The lobby is very spacious, and you can even take your luggage cart directly to your room, which is super convenient. The spa and hot springs are located right by the elevators on the 4th floor. The hot springs are open until 10 PM, so you can enjoy a late-night soak. The rooms are very large and new, with separate showers and bathtubs. I didn't use the shower in my room since I went to the hot springs instead. The room offered beautiful sunset and mountain views, as well as views of planes taking off and landing. The last flight departs around 7 PM, and the first one takes off around 8:30 AM, so it doesn't disturb your sleep. After checking in, it was very convenient to go shopping on the 2nd floor and have dinner on the 3rd floor. The next day, I checked out at 11 AM and could push my luggage cart directly to the check-in counter without any hassle. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!
This hotel in Hakodate is really excellent. It's a 15-minute walk from Hakodate Station, but it's a straight shot, so it's very convenient. There's a free market about 350 meters away, and prices there are quite a bit cheaper than at the Asaichi Market. For scallops, I'd recommend buying them at a supermarket as they're even cheaper there, but for sea urchin, this market is better. There's also a direct bus to the airport right outside the hotel, which is only 3 stops and takes about 20 minutes, costing 600 yen per person. The accommodation itself is also great. We stayed for five nights, and the room was cleaned every other day. On the days it wasn't cleaned, if you left your trash outside the door, someone would collect it. The room also came with cooking utensils and a washing machine. We didn't book breakfast initially, but we tried it once on our last night after making a reservation in advance, and it was pretty good. However, there aren't many breakfast seats, so given the size of the hotel, you might have to queue.

Location: Great, it's near the city center so it's convenient to go anywhere.
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy.
Facilities: Well-equipped, but the hot spring requires an additional 1000 yen fee.
Service: The front desk offers Chinese-speaking staff, and there's a sky bar on the top floor where you can enjoy the night view.

As with the other reviews here. Their location is everything. The airport limousine bus stops extremely close by this hotel. Just few mins walk to reach. Further, this hotel connects directly underground to Pole Town shopping and the subway (Namboku line), traveling around is extremely convenient; few hotels that are so strategically located as this one! Plenty of food and konbini options (Seicomart right next door) around as well because this hotel is right outside Tanukikoji shopping street. There are also McD and MOS burgers nearby.
Something I don't like is the room they gave me is on the lowest floor, even when I requested a high floor very early on. The walking traffic light chirping sound outside is very loud and I can hear it in the room (thankfully it was off during sleeping time). As for the staff, there is a mix of foreigners (some Nepalese and Thai) and Japanese local, all of which are very helpful.
Although they said housekeeping only every 7 days, but they collected the trash and change towels daily; even made up our bed, i think the only thing they didn't do is change your bedsheets everyday. Twin room is quite spacious for 2 person, we can open up our luggage no problem.
Express check out available just drop your key inside the lift.
Overall I'm very happy and it's a pleasant experience! (except for the loud traffic bird sound)
I'm giving a good rating because the staff eventually resolved our issue. However, overall, this is the first time in all our trips to Japan that we've been charged extra for a child staying in the same room. I hope the hotel can be more accommodating to tourists. We already paid 1280 RMB for the stay, which felt quite expensive. At that price point, a bit more leniency for families with children would leave a much better impression on travelers. Honestly, I've traveled to several countries, and this is the only hotel that has ever charged extra for a child sharing the same room. Lastly, the room size and cleanliness here actually felt more comfortable than the Crown Plaza we stayed at in Sapporo.
This hotel offers great value for money. Both the breakfast buffet and the room comfort exceeded my expectations. If you're planning to visit Mount Hakodate and the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses, especially in snowy weather, this is definitely the top choice because of its close proximity. Having lived in Tokyo for a long time, I've become somewhat jaded by bustling city centers and their dining scenes, which is why I didn't choose to stay near Hakodate Station. I preferred to spend more time quietly appreciating the tranquility of the rain, snow, and mountain pine forests. Many people mention long queues for the ropeway and tickets at Mount Hakodate, and that the Genova restaurant up there requires booking two weeks in advance and even then a window seat isn't guaranteed. However, I didn't encounter any of these issues because I traveled during off-peak times. I experienced zero wait times for everything, no advance booking or reservations needed. Therefore, staying at this hotel was incredibly convenient for me, and I was able to enjoy the beautiful daytime views of Mount Hakodate, which I found much more refreshing than the 'million dollar night view' that's become cliché on social media platforms like Xiaohongshu.

For Japan, the room was quite spacious. However, the price was too high during the Sapporo Snow Festival. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, though it wasn't as refined as what you'd find outside. The snowy scenery in Hokkaido is truly beautiful.

CChoy SumBecause I had to return the car at Hakodate Airport the next day, I chose to stay in Yunokawa, which only takes about 10 minutes by car. The hotel has free parking and also provides a buffet breakfast, which is really chill to eat breakfast against the unparalleled sea view. Friendly staff, willing to help, excellent service. Definitely bring my family again.
GGuest UserThe room was decent, no bathtub but the hotel has a public bath, which is standard for a business hotel. It's near Nakajima-Koen subway station, just across the street. A heads-up for everyone, it's in Nakajima Park, so if you're not near Susukino or Odori, it's a bit of a walk. It's not out of the way, but you do have to walk. Sapporo's subway isn't as frequent as Tokyo's, so sometimes walking might get you there just as fast. It's quite a hassle to drag luggage and parents through the snow when you can't use the underground walkway.
BB_BI chose this hotel for my family because the room was spacious, which was very important to us as we wanted our child to have enough space to move around comfortably. The hotel is new and very clean, exactly as we expected.
The complimentary drinks for all guests were a lovely touch. There was a good variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, along with popcorn, which made us feel very welcomed.
What impressed me the most, however, was how considerate and helpful the staff were. We checked out very early at 6:00 am during a snowstorm. In the middle of our journey, I realized that I had left one of my bags behind—the one containing my passport and valuable items.
I immediately called the hotel and asked if it would be possible to send the bag to the airport, as returning to the hotel ourselves would definitely cause us to miss our flight. The receptionist (I’m very sorry that I can’t remember her name) took my situation very seriously and contacted her manager to request authorization to delegate a staff member to bring my passport to the airport, since they could not leave an unattended bag in a taxi. I had offered to cover all expenses, but what truly stood out was their willingness to help without hesitation.
Ms. Wu was the staff member who personally brought my passport to the airport. With her honesty, urgency, and care, I honestly don’t know how I would have made it back to my hometown. I cannot thank her and the hotel team enough for what they did for us.
I truly believe I made the right choice staying here, and I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit.
GGaga ChanPrivate parking with 800yen per night located just next to the hotel. The restaurant behind serves good food, with an Indian (i think) staff who speaks English helped a lot in ordering. Room is fairly ok with this price.
GGuest UserWe had a really fantastic time at Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Resort which was a once in a lifetime experience for us. The area is beautiful and the spa has everything you need for a fantastic and relaxing stay. We stayed in a Premier Suite and the rooms are fantastic - fully equipped and spacious with all amenities, and a fantastic private Onsen to relax in.The staff at the spa were extremely friendly and helpful, and attentive to all of our needs. We'd love to come back some time and would highly recommend!
GGuest UserPark Hyatt Niseko Hanazono’s architecture, environment, interior design, and lighting design were all truly wonderful. We were consistently impressed by the excellence of service, which made our visit even more memorable.
The food and beverage service was warm and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. The front desk and transportation team were outstanding in assisting us with our trip activities and transport arrangements. Additionally, the housekeeping department did a fantastic job in keeping our room clean and tidy.
It is evident that the hardware and software (the staff) at Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono are perfectly matched. We are so glad we chose to stay at Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono
We look forward to returning in the future!
TThomas WuThe breakfast here is absolutely amazing. It offers incredible value for money, with fresh seafood you can eat to your heart's content, and the sushi is just fantastic. It's also conveniently located close to the seafood market and train station. A special shout-out to Trip.com for the fair price!
AAnonymous UserThe room isn't huge, but there's just enough space by the bathroom door for two suitcases. To fully open them and pack, you'll need to use the bed, which is typical for Japanese hotels, so it's acceptable.
It's a bit of a walk to Susukino subway station, a few blocks away, and it's even harder in the snow. I had to go to the Susukino airport bus stop, which is only a few hundred meters away, but with snow and luggage, it would have taken about 40 minutes to walk. I ended up taking a taxi from the hotel entrance, costing less than 100 RMB, and got there in just a few minutes, which was very convenient.
Overall, the price was reasonable, around 400+ RMB per night.
GGuest UserThis was my favorite hotel during my Hokkaido trip. It's rated as a 4-star, but honestly, it feels more like a 5-star experience. Dinner and breakfast aren't just a standard buffet; you can order à la carte, and the food is incredibly refined. The lounge also offers complimentary snacks and drinks, and their orange juice is particularly delicious. Highly recommend staying here!
GGuest User🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 An Unforgettable Stay! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This place is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest smiles and the most genuine hospitality. Every staff member made us feel like family—so friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed.
The stay itself was beyond amazing. The room was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable—but the highlight was definitely the private onsen in the room. Soaking in the hot spring after a long day was pure bliss. Calm, relaxing, and absolutely luxurious.
And the food… WOW. Every meal felt like a masterpiece. Beautifully presented, fresh, flavorful, and full of local character. Each dish was a delight, and we looked forward to every single meal.
Perfect service, perfect stay, perfect food, perfect onsen.
I would come back in a heartbeat—and recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly special experience. 💖
