"Traveling with a friend, we found this hotel very convenient as it's just a short walk from Dobutsuen-mae Station, and Tsutenkaku Tower is right next door. The staff were friendly and helpful, guiding us through the check-in process step-by-step. You can pick up any essential toiletries you need near the front desk, while other items like shower gel are provided in the room. There were also plenty of towels and bath towels. The soundproofing was excellent; we barely heard any noise from other guests, and the room was spacious enough to open our 24-inch suitcase. Just be careful in the bathtub as it was a bit slippery."

HHeiressjloThe room itself is well maintained and the facilities are common basic ones that I need as a solo female traveler. It a 5 minute walk to Juso Station and a lot of convenience store around. They have a coin laundry machine as well so it was easier to wash clothes when I needed it. All additional things that you need such as toiletries are also readily available at the lobby area. And the best part was the free breakfast!

YYupingWe chose this hotel for our trip to Universal Studios, and it's conveniently located not far from the park entrance, making coming and going very easy. There are plenty of dining options nearby, as well as Universal Studios merchandise stores. The day we arrived happened to be a Japanese holiday, so it was incredibly crowded. Check-in started at 3 PM, and we had to wait in line for a long time. The hotel is quite large and even has a Family Mart convenience store inside, which was great since we didn't book breakfast. We booked a city view room, but the front desk gave us a room on the 4th floor, so there was basically no view outside the window. For Japan, the room was quite spacious. Overall, it was convenient for accessing Universal Studios.

PPAPI MARKLively Osaka was very cozy & very friendly staffs who all spoke decent English. Their hospitality was definitely one of the best I’ve been to in 🇯🇵 also a good size room for BIZ traveller (wish they offered 1 King instead of 2 twins). Bfast was acceptable but if u stay more then few nights might get tired of them since it’s the same daily! Overall was a nice experience & will for sure try their sister hotel chains in other cities!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located right in front of Dotonbori Street, but it's not a noisy area. There are convenience stores like Lawson and 7-Eleven nearby. It's about a 15-minute walk (1km) from Namba Station, which is manageable when coming from the airport. The bathroom was clean. Free breakfast includes bread, drinks, and coffee. The coffee was absolutely delicious! Amenities are self-service on the first floor. You need to request new towels daily. Room cleaning is done once every three nights. The room itself is small, but having experienced even smaller rooms before, this size was acceptable.

SShuizhuoledepikaqiuThis is my second time staying at this hotel. The location is great, very close to Kansai Airport, and there are many shops nearby. However, this hotel is a bit inferior to the one next door, which is probably why it's also cheaper. A special warning: room 2226, I don't know if it's because it's on a corner or something, but the noise from the train passing below is incredibly loud. At first, I thought it was an airplane taking off. After a lot of investigation, I realized it was the train. The soundproofing is very poor; you can clearly hear cars driving by downstairs and even police sirens. The train noise, in particular, is so loud you can hear it clearly even from the hallway outside the door. Since I'm a light sleeper, I couldn't stand it at all. After communicating with the hotel twice, the front desk lady finally helped me change to a room on the 21st floor. I could still hear some noise, but it was much quieter and didn't affect my sleep much at night. However, after this experience, I probably won't stay here again. It would be better to pay a little more and stay at the SIS next door.

GGuest UserLocation: If you're coming from Kansai Airport, taking the Nankai Rapid Express to Namba and then dragging your luggage to the hotel is a bit of a trek, about 1km I'd say? I heard taking the bus is better. But the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Just 100 meters outside, you're in the busiest area of Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Every day after exploring, you can just step downstairs and enjoy all sorts of delicious food.
Room: The room isn't huge, but I could half-open my 28-inch suitcase. Although it's a bit older, it's very clean! The only issue is that the curtains don't block out the light completely, so I was woken up by the sunlight in the morning. I should have worn an eye mask.
Breakfast: It's alright, enough to fill you up. If you're rushing out to explore every day, it's worth booking. The restaurant isn't very big and can get crowded sometimes. A big plus is that children under 12 eat for free!
Service: My room was right opposite the linen room, but I stayed for 3 nights and didn't hear a single sound from the staff, which was impressive! I couldn't use WeChat Pay for the washing machine, so I called the front desk to complain. To my surprise, a staff member proactively came to my room to help me operate it. When it still didn't work, they went back and forth to help me resolve the issue.
Surroundings: Many reviews mentioned the red-light district at night. I also brought my 12-year-old daughter, and we came back very late every night, but we found it to be fine. This area is very lively; there are still many people out and about at midnight. You can find places like a century-old oden stand and the popular white chicken broth ramen, as well as convenience stores and Don Quijote. I'm very satisfied!
Downside: There are too few washing machines.

GGuest UserOur stay was incredibly worthwhile. The room was exceptionally clean, and the front desk staff were wonderful, especially one lady who kindly helped me with the self-service laundry machine. This stay made our family trip to Osaka very happy and comfortable. Plus, there's a large Yongsheng Supermarket right below the hotel, and it's super close to the Shiyotsubashi subway station. Walking to Shinsaibashi is also very convenient. The hotel room even provided an air purifier, so there were no unpleasant odors, which is crucial for me. I also really appreciate the hotel providing a proof of stay. Next time I'm in Osaka, I'll definitely stay here again; it offers excellent value for money.

YyxineI stayed for a night in this hostel recently when I needed to catch an early ride to the airport from the train station. The location is superbly central and also easy to find thanks to the giant strawberry above the entrance.
The dorm environment was quiet during my stay here and everything was very clean. The aircon was cold but the warm comforter ensured a great night’s sleep. Both shampoo and bath gel are available in the shower room and after staying in about ten different hotels and hostels during my trip, I must say that the scent of the gel here is my favourite!
The dormitories is located on the third floor with no elevators so it may be daunting for the physically dis-inclined, especially after a typical long day of walking everywhere in Japan. All in all, I’d give this hostel 5 stars for it’s high ‘CP value’.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, right outside the JR station and a 5-minute walk from Universal Studios Japan's entrance. There's a convenience store and shops downstairs – a perfect choice. We even went back to the hotel to rest when it got too hot at Universal Studios, then re-entered in the evening to continue the fun. After a long day of walking, a relaxing bath and soak at the top floor spa in the evening was exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was perfect, except for the crowds – too many people at breakfast and in the showers.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is truly excellent. Coming out of the north exit of Namba Station on the Nankai Line, you'll find a large plaza. Head right and you'll see two pathways. Take the one on the right, and when you reach a fork, turn right again to find the Don Quijote Sennichimae store. If you go straight left out of the pathway, cross the street, and then turn right, you'll reach the hotel. It's incredibly close to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Market, and other popular spots, making shopping and dining exceptionally convenient. Even many day tour meeting points are nearby. The hotel rooms aren't large, but they are very new and come with a full set of toiletries, so you don't need to bring anything. The price is also affordable, and I didn't even have to pay the accommodation tax! Highly recommended!
