Not the first time staying here, and will go back again. Location is perfect, all the necessities can be found within a walking distance. Amenities: All the important amenities are available except for hand towels and you have to beg for towels and pretty much the replenishment of amenities after the room is cleaned, far different from the last time when it was still Belmont. First room we were given had a very mouldy smell and which gave the kids and I instant headaches. They eventually changed it after about 4 hours of waiting and intervention by Trip.com. This really put a damper on things. Breakfast: Great, the variety is good, but it’s the same pretty much everyday. The beach: Within 5 minutes walk, but don’t you dare lose of misplace the beach pass paper tag, they’re very uptight about it. The beach if not the best beach, very rocky which makes swimming pretty uncomfortable. However, the pool area is awesome and there are sun loungers all around and that makes up for the unpleasant beach. They provide swimming towels too! I must say it has developed a lot since the last time I was here and I can only hope they will keep improving.

Solid place to stay, staff are super nice. It is a bit old, has some cracks in the walls and a few little bugs in the bathroom. The bed is comfortable and clean, hot water in the bathroom, A/C wasn’t strong but does work, cold water refilling available on each floor.

The hotel's location is pretty good, about 3 kilometers from Pier 1 in Cebu, and there's a large shopping mall nearby. It's convenient to take a taxi to the airport from here, and traffic jams are less likely. Magellan's Cross, the Basilica del Santo Niño, and Ayala Center are also about 3 kilometers away by taxi. The beds in the twin room are small, but the room itself is clean and tidy. The hotel breakfast is decent.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort and truly appreciate the exceptional service provided by the staff. The front desk team was incredibly helpful—when my husband thought he had dropped his wallet in the car during our transit from the pier, they went above and beyond by checking the CCTV to help us track the car plate number. With their help, we discovered that the wallet was not left in the van. Eventually, we realized it had been dropped in a Grab car during our journey from Cebu City to Pier 1 Cebu, and we were able to successfully recover it. We are very grateful for their effort and support throughout the process. From the first day we checked in, the front desk staff noticed that my son was not feeling well. They kindly informed us that the resort has a nurse available and encouraged us to reach out if needed. On the third day, my 4-year-old son’s diarrhea became more serious, and the staff once again showed genuine care and concern. They arranged for a nurse to check on him, who provided helpful advice and referred us to a clinic doctor the next morning. This gave us great peace of mind as parents. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the pool—it was excellent. Overall, the warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the resort, the purple yam porridge is very nice. All the staff were very kind, helpful, friendly, and warm. We would definitely come back again if we travel to Bohol. One small suggestion would be to add a gym room for guests, which would make the facilities even more complete. Thank you again for the wonderful experience!

The room was clean and spacious enough for the three of us, and the service was good value for the price. Access from the room to the pool was very convenient. The swimming pool is large and suitable for both kids and adults, with shallow areas on both sides for non-swimmers and deeper sections in the middle for more confident swimmers. Breakfast was plated and reasonable for its price. The room tended to be a bit humid, and the pool had a strong chlorine level, so using swimming goggles may be helpful. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Overall, our stay at Seda Ayala was mixed, and I would rate it 3 out of 5. The room itself was decent—clean and comfortable enough for a short stay, though nothing particularly memorable. Breakfast offered a wide selection of options, which was appreciated, but unfortunately the taste did not quite match the variety. What really affected our experience, however, was the service at the front desk during checkout. There were three counters open and only a short queue, yet the line barely moved and we ended up waiting for around 15 minutes. As we were in a rush to catch our flight, I approached a staff member named Stephan to ask if I could simply hand over the room keys to speed things up. Instead of assisting, he gave me a hostile look and curtly responded, “I have other customer,” in a tone that felt unnecessarily rude. This interaction overshadowed what was otherwise an average stay. With better service, especially at the front desk, the experience could have been much more pleasant.

A wonderful stay with warm smiles and tasty breakfast. Wehad a great experience at Amber Hotel Cebu. The staff were all incredibly smiley and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was simple, but honestly still tasty and satisfying - just what we need to start the day right. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked as expected. A couple of minor things to note: the hotel doesn’t provide slippers, so you might want to bring your own, and the shower area is a bit small, which can cause water to splash around. But these didn’t take away from the overall positive vibe of my stay. For the price, service, and location, I’d gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Located in Santa Fe, Bethel by the Sea Santa Fe Bantayan Island is a great base to explore the city from. Grab a bite to eat at the in-house restaurant which serves Asian dishes. During your stay, treat yourself to room service with food from the in-house restaurant. This property also offers laundry service (on-site). Guests arriving by car can use the property's parking lot.

Lovely stay! Beautiful hotel, with fabulous pools and direct access to a pristine beach with stunning sunsets. Service was also really good. Tons of restaurants to eat within walking distance. Top class place! My only suggestion is to install coffee machines for breakfast - espressos and cappuccinos are not complimentary, only brewed black coffee is served.

We had an amazing stay at this resort, especially the breakfast. There are many pools and a calm beach, and the gym is very good. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling. However, there are a few things that could be improved: 1. The Wi-Fi access ends at 11 AM, which is quite strange and inconvenient. 2. You are not allowed to use the pools after your checkout. 3. You are not allowed to use the sunbeds with umbrellas after your checkout. 4. The beach is clean, but there is still a lot of “water grass” and the water is not very deep for swimming.

GGuest UserI'm so glad I chose Coco Grove. Booking in advance allowed the hotel to arrange a pick-up and drop-off service from the pier, which was incredibly convenient. Even though the pier isn't far, being able to hop straight into a car saved a lot of time. The hotel's coconut grove and beach are absolutely stunning. Breakfast was à la carte and quite good. The service was very prompt; a quick call to the front desk and a staff member would arrive quickly to sort out any issues, including helping with luggage during check-out. The area just off the diving school is amazing for snorkeling – you don't have to go far to see little Nemos and beautiful corals, which were definite bonuses. The rooms have a rustic, natural decor, but cleanliness was never an issue; they were always tidied very well. Overall, I highly recommend it. If you're coming to Siquijor, Coco Grove is the place to be!

GGuest UserThis was my first stay here, and the hospitality was exceptional. The staff was incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home. The location is perfect right by the beach, quiet, and very relaxing. Plus, meeting 'Sausage' the dog was a highlight! However, I am very disappointed with the booking management. My first booking was canceled even though rooms showed as available, forcing me to rebook a different category and wait for a refund. Later, I tried to extend my stay for another 3 nights, but that was canceled as well. It’s a shame because I love the place, but the unreliable system makes me hesitant to book again. I highly suggest the hotel syncs their real-time availability to prevent these frustrating cancellations.

GGuest UserPlease note, the hotel doesn't respond to emails or booking services. A request to cancel one of the three nights was simply ignored. The receptionist told me to call someone and deal with it personally, but she had no intention of doing anything. The location is an acquired taste: Cebu is at least 50 minutes away by public transportation, the grab bar doesn't work, and the hotel's Wi-Fi is poor. There are no cafes or shops nearby. The grounds are pleasant and well-maintained. The beach is small and shared with locals, but dirty and crowded. Breakfast is included, but the portion is small and unappetizing. The meat is like cat food, while the juice is delicious. There were a lot of children at the hotel, which is a plus for families with small children, but a significant minus for couples without children (like us). Everyone was screaming, there was screaming outside the windows, and there was crying at night—in short, it was terrifying. As for the cleanliness of the room, there was no hot water, the pressure was a trickle, but there was a bucket and ladle, which saved the day. We didn't even stay three days; we left early. I won't give the hotel a bad rating or lower its rating. Perhaps this is a one-off, and the hotel management will listen and investigate. I've only described my experience here, which, unfortunately, was negative. Yours may be different.

GGuest UserMinuses: - the pool is really small, just for chilling, not swimming. - Mobile network signal is bad or non-existent. Hotel wifi is very very slow most of the time. The rest was amazing.  Very beautiful setting, very clean resort, amazing restaurant, super friendly helpful and attentive staff.  You can also hire snorkelling equipment from them (must do! Lots of fun and pretty safe), and can hire a scooter directly via hotel (very easy and smooth process). Overall loved my stay and will happily stay there again!!!

ЛЛюдмилаI really liked the location. Family hotel right on the beach. Cozy courtyard. Black sand. Tides do not interfere with swimming, which is important in the Philippines. The food is good in the hotel cafe. All guests were invited to Christmas dinner! For free! We had fun and played games. This is considered the best place for swimming in Dugamete (Dauin)

OOlga KurkinaThe hotel is beautifully decorated. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable. The staff is incredibly attentive, courteous, and caring. We stayed for four days and discovered a lot of hair on the bathroom floor upon check-in, but we didn't bother. A major drawback was the non-functioning bathroom fan, which allowed a lot of mosquitoes into the room, and the staff didn't have any mosquito repellent. The hotel has a swimming pool on the third floor; it's very small, and they don't provide pool towels or lounge chairs. The lounge and smoking area is on the second floor. Breakfast is Filipino, with English breakfast available for an additional fee. Each floor has a water dispenser with hot and cold water, and the room has cups, tea, coffee, and sugar. We booked a tricycle to the airport at reception for 150 pesos.
