I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights this August 2022. My main purpose for staying in this hotel was staycation. And I chose a room with bath tub, because in case the pool water is cold, I wanted to use the bath tub instead. But unfortunately, the bath tub in my room (637) was malfunction (the plug didn't hold the water well so the water in the tub kept decreasing). I reported this issue to Guest Service via room phone, and the lady said she would inform the housekeeping/technician. But then, until the next day, and then until time for check out, no follow up whatsoever from the hotel. So, that was sort of ruining my staycation, because I couldn't use the pool because of the cold water, and I couldn't use the bath tub either. Eventually some hotel official approached me in the lobby to apologize, but that was after me checking out. So.. I guess there is an issue in internal control and quality assurance in this hotel. Quite the shame, considering this is a legendary 5 star hotel in Yogyakarta. But the service from breakfast staff was remarkable. And there were adorable doves looking for crumbs in the restaurant outdoor.

I have stayed in many hotels in many countries, I can say, in my opinion it is not an exaggeration if I say that Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta staff is the friendliest among other hotels I have visited. You should try to stay in this hotel, you will understand what I mean. Unfortunately, the breakfast at this hotel is below what I expected, western food has not many choices and the taste is mediocre, there are many kinds of Indonesian food, I think this hotel is trying to highlight Indonesian flavors, but I feel that only a handful of Indonesian dishes are delicious in my opinion, namely Bakmie Bangka, Batagor and Gorengan (mendoan and bakwan vegetables), the soto was a disappoin**ent. However, I still feel satisfied staying at this hotel, because it has friendly staff and comfortable beds

Grand Mercure Yogyakarta Adi Sucipto

This trip to Yogyakarta was short but very pleasant, thanks to Grand Mercure Yogyakarta. I usually stay in other Accor's hotel in Yogyakarta, but this time, I opt to try to stay in Grand Mercure. The check in process was smooth and super fast. The FOM even also attended me at that time, ensuring that my checking in process was pleasant. They had dedicated desk for Accor member avoiding long queue in the regular check-in counter. Too bad, they couldn't upgrade me to executive room or beyond, due to their high occupancy. The room was in the Premium Deluxe. It was nice, clean, and comfy, although it was not too sound-proof. So you could be disturbed with children running around and shouting in the hallway. Bathroom amenities was quite good for a deluxe room, hoping that they would provide a better one in the higher-level room. They had gym facility, but the operational hours were so limited. They even closed at 11 am to 3 pm. Too bad... They should prolong the operational hour for the gym tho, accommodated with access card, perhaps. The afternoon tea service was provided from 5 - 7 pm, with selection of fritters and small cut of cakes from their selection. Small is literally small, but since I came alone, the food provided was more than enough. For welcome drink selections, alcoholic beverages was provided for platinum member. Love this one!!! The staffs in their bar and lounge were so helpful and cater to all I needed. Thumbs up for them... To my surprise, they provided me a dedicated table for breakfast with my name written on the table. This never could be found in other Accor Hotel. Love also the services provided during my breakfast time. the chef was also good serving my 'delicate' eggs. Check-out process was also super fast. Even another manager was attended at that time greeted me and asked me about their services and facilities during my stay. Overall, this very short trip was very delightful, again, thanks to Grand Mercure Yogyakarta. Definitely gonna stay there again... To all staffs, thanks for your great hospitality and keep up the good teamwork.

Stayed here with my family. Had an amazing experience started from the time of booking, the reservation team was very attentive and helpful. Prior to my arrival they did a courtesy to make sure everything is well prepared when I arrive at the hotel. Location is very easy to find and not far from city center although it doesn’t feel like you are in a city at all. Once you enter the resort you feel like in a very calming vibes and a sanctuary place. I arrived and greeted by Ekky and Ervita. Ervita escorted me to the room and showed all the feature in details and even let us enjoy in room afternoon tea during sunset which was incredible nice. Ekky was very helpful while assisting our luggage and took us around for a hotel tour. During the stay, I have requested some items to be delivered and they were promptly provided in a timely manner. I ordered dinner from ghetto restaurant and they were served nicely in the room and the taste of the food was good. I would like to mention some names as their providing memorable service during my stay ad well. Thank you for Lana, Viyo, Zhani, Rachel, Victor and Humam for making our stay memorable. Although I would like to comment about the breakfast. Restaurant ambiance is very nice but unfortunately the overall food was below my expectations. The food options were adequate but the tastes and quality somewhat did not harmonize with the great resort and services. I’m assuming finding the right supplier is also a key for this. but, indeed i enjoyed the breakfast. One last thing is about the Guest Motorcycle parking. We rent motorbike and we had to park in the staff parking so it was a bit of confusion for us as a guest and employee seeing us strolling around in your back area. Overall, I would love to come back if I visit Jogja again in near future. What I enjoy the most is the great service from the staff and that’s all what matters after all. Great product and service! Well done!

We stayed on 14 - 16 february and booked our room with Agoda and the room was a good size, the hotel is beautiful and has all the amenities, so we applaud their environment. The front desk staff were very nice. Especially Heru, who arranged our trips and acted our tour driver . He took us trip to Borobudur , mount Merapi and Prambanan because on as we were not familiar with Yogyakarta. he also helped us to contact and book hotel at bromo , very patient and enthusiastic, emphasized all the details. It was a great pleasure to meet Heru.
Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta

The hotel run by the Yogyakarta royal family has nothing to say about the facilities, services and hygiene. Especially the breakfast, which is rich and delicious, is worth mentioning. It's just that the transportation is inconvenient and walking is very convenient, but grab is very convenient. If you need to walk, you usually go out on the expressway. There are many pedestrian paths and few intersections and sidewalks.

We booked the Melia Purosani directly through their website for a number of stays as it provided a good value price which included a 10-minute massage per room booking, a discount on food, and a room upgrade. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a ”Level” room on the sixth floor which came with Level Lounge privileges including afternoon tea. Having re-booked for three separate nights our expectations were that we would receive the same benefits. It seems our first stay involved a better-than-usual upgrade and we were very embarrassed to be turned away from the Level Lounge on our next stay - despite being in a Level Lounge room. Live and learn! The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are well-presented. Reception staff is courteous and helpful, and so too was the concierge at the Level Lounge who ”righted” the embarrassing situation we faced. The gardens and pool area are tropical, leafy, and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was adequate, but not super fast/ The property is within easy walking distance of Jalan Malioboro and other local attractions. I have rated the hotel's less-than-excellent restaurant El Patio separately. Truth be told, service and afternoon tea in the Level Lounge was superior to the restaurant.
