Noble Park Hotel

This hotel, nestled in the bustling Yau Ma Tei district of Kowloon, truly embodies the advantage of a prime, 'every inch counts' location. Although on the first floor, the public lounge area is thoughtfully designed. During off-peak hours, the occasional chatter from outside adds a touch of lively local flavor, making it feel wonderfully vibrant. There's no in-room direct drinking water, but the supermarket downstairs is just a stone's throw away, making resupply incredibly convenient. The room layout is ingeniously compact, with every bit of space utilized perfectly, making it an efficient and practical urban dwelling choice.

Rambler Garden Hotel

Facilities: The facilities are complete, and the beds are very comfortable for sleeping. The only downside is that the windows are completely sealed and cannot be opened. Hygiene: Very clean and free from pollution, no bed bugs, so you can sleep with peace of mind. Environment: Very good. The room window offers a sea view of Tsing Yi Pier. At night, you can see strong light penetration in the corridor outside the room's main door. Service: Excellent. The front desk lady is proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, and is almost always able to accommodate requests. Two orders were arranged in the same room, so there was no need to change rooms midway. However, the hotel's strict check-out time is 12:00 PM, and late check-out requires a half-day fee. I hope that Rambler Garden Hotel can be a bit more flexible with check-out times in the future (for example, allowing free late check-out requests until before 2:00 PM when the room availability is good. I think this would improve the guest experience and increase their satisfaction).

Mingle By The Park

My teacher mentioned that the location is indeed valuable, and the in-room facilities aren't as bad as I imagined. However, there's a critical flaw: a complete lack of security. There's no secure entrance, or you could even say there's no real door at all. People can just walk in and out of the building freely. When I returned around 11 PM and left around 6 AM, the entrance was always wide open – not even a pretense of security. What's worse, all the sliding doors leading to the rooms upstairs are also unlocked. A random passerby could literally walk all the way up and stand right outside your room door. If you're a woman traveling alone, absolutely do not stay here. Then there's the dampness, which seems to be an inherent issue with the building's structure. It's not the kind of extreme dampness where water drips, but the moment you walk in, the air feels incredibly stagnant, with poor ventilation. The air conditioner is right above the bed, and since it's still early in the year, the weather isn't too hot yet. I can't imagine how unbearable it would be in the summer. I was assigned the smallest room on the entire floor, and it honestly felt no different from a prison cell. The bed was right up against the balcony door, making it incredibly noisy – much louder than I expected. I consider myself quite tolerant of noise, but here, it was noisy both inside and outside. When a group of college students stayed, I didn't get any sleep all night. Unless you truly have no other option, seriously, don't stay here.

Rambler Oasis Hotel

Our Stay at Rambler Oasis Overall, we had a good stay at Rambler Oasis. The rooms are a decent size—not too big and not too small, and I think they are comfortable for two people per room. We were a family of four, so I booked adjoining rooms. However, the hotel gave us two rooms side by side. I’m not sure if these were considered adjoining rooms, but they were still convenient for our family. A few things to take note of: the hotel does not provide toiletries, although tissue is provided, so it’s better to bring your own shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Daily housekeeping is available upon request. There were also no power adapters provided, so bring your own travel adapter if you need to charge your devices. Otherwise, you may not be able to use your chargers. The gym is free—you just need to request an access voucher from the front desk. The swimming pool has a HKD 40 charge, and the ticket/access needs to be purchased at Rambler Club. For food, there is a 7-Eleven and Café Coral downstairs, plus a small restaurant beside 7-Eleven that serves Filipino-style silog meals. They operate until around 11:30 PM, which was very convenient for us. There are also grocery stores a short walk away where we bought additional toiletries and bottled water since the hotel did not provide complimentary bottled water. The hotel allows outside food, so you can easily bring food back to your room without any problem. One thing to consider is the location. Rambler Oasis is quite far from the main city areas, so you’ll need to use public transportation if you want to visit Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Disneyland, and other tourist areas. The 88F and 88G minibuses are very helpful. They are usually parked in front of Rambler Crest and take you directly to the MTR area for around HKD 4.30. We were initially confused about where to get off because the minibuses make several stops. If you’re heading to the MTR, wait until the final stop at Maritime Square 2 for 88F or Metroplaza for 88G. I also felt safe staying here. The area is quiet at night and not crowded, which we actually enjoyed after a long day of sightseeing. If you’re someone who prefers a quieter area and doesn’t mind taking the MTR and minibus, Rambler Oasis is a good option. But if you’re used to the busy city atmosphere and want everything within walking distance—especially in Tsim Sha Tsui—then it may be better to stay closer to the city, although hotels there can be considerably more expensive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again, especially for a family trip on a budget.

Joyce House (Tsim Sha Tsui)

8,9/10

The location of this place is absolutely fantastic! Given that Hong Kong is so dense, the room might not be as spacious as hotels on the mainland, but it has everything you need and feels incredibly cozy. It's in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, just a few minutes' walk to the Avenue of Stars and Victoria Harbour. Downstairs, you'll find countless restaurants, shops selling daily necessities, gold, jewelry, watches, designer bags, and banks – everything is super convenient. It's a great spot for shopping lovers, and the value for money is excellent. The owner is really welcoming too. I'll definitely be back!

Located in the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui area, this hotel offers a quiet escape. We were a party of three and booked a quad room, which was quite spacious and clean. The reception area is small but very cozy, equipped with tea bags, coffee, and hot and cold water. Downstairs, dining and getting around are incredibly convenient, with two subway entrances right outside. Across the street, about 100 meters ahead, there's a Haiphong Road wet market where you can find authentic local wonton noodles, pork chop rice, and fish balls, all very good. Especially recommended is Chung Kee, run by two elderly ladies – their beef brisket and fish balls are generously portioned, and the shrimp in their wontons are large and fresh. The hotel also has Vietnamese and Thai restaurants downstairs, all at fair prices. There's a mosque opposite and Kowloon Park nearby, perfect for a stroll.

One Dundas

⭐ A Good Overall Stay We had a pleasant stay at One Dundas. The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated their assistance with early luggage storage and early check-in. The whole process was smooth, and the service was great. However, there were a few things that could be improved. The room did not have slippers or a “Do Not Disturb” card, which may have been missed or misplaced by the previous guest. The biggest issue for us was the hot water during showering. We expected the water to remain warm throughout the shower, but halfway through, the water suddenly turned cold. We had to wait for around 3 minutes before the water became warm again. This happened during our stay and was quite frustrating and inconvenient. As for the location, guests should be aware that it takes around 10 minutes of walking under the hot sun to reach the nearest MTR station. This is fine for those who don't mind walking, but it can be a little tiring in Hong Kong's hot weather, especially when carrying luggage. Overall, the room was clean and the staff were friendly, and we still had a pleasant stay. However, the hot water issue was definitely the most annoying part of our experience, and we hope the hotel can look into it. A decent choice if you don't mind the 10-minute walk to the MTR station, but hopefully the hot water issue can be resolved.

Although this was my second stay, the experience this time was far from as good as the first (perhaps due to the room type). I stayed in room 303, which the front desk said was a larger room. However, it was designed for disabled guests, so the faucets and sink were extremely low! It was very inconvenient to wash up (even though I'm short). The room also had serious mold issues, as you can see in image three. It's quite hot in Hong Kong right now, but the hot water pressure was very low! I nearly caught a cold showering because it was so chilly! The location is undeniably fantastic, with plenty of food, drink, and shopping options nearby.

This time, I came to Hong Kong with friends, and staying here was incredibly convenient. The MTR station is right outside, and the hotel is in a very bustling central Tsim Sha Tsui location. It's also a short walk from the West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station. The room matched the pictures perfectly; it was just a bit small, but the decor was new, and everything was clean and well-equipped. No adapter was needed to charge devices. The service was excellent; the front desk staff, both the gentleman and the lady, were very gentle and patient when speaking, and they were always helpful with any questions. On our last day, since we had a late flight, they kindly stored our luggage. When we came back to pick it up, they even thoughtfully asked if we knew how to get to the airport, which was really heartwarming.

We always stay here in Imperial Hotel whenever we are in HK due to its prime location. The staffs have been familiarized with us as we visit at least twice a year. We were always given a good room and our latest stay is the best that we had. We were given the highest floor with the overlooking view of the harbour. It is so pretty especially at night. As to housekeeping I can say u have to request this service as this is not normally done on a daily basis.
