"Recently visited this hotel as a family of 4 and overall it was pretty good but falls short of 5 stars vs other properties in the area, namely the Cullinan and the Regnum. The hotel is looking tired in places and needs renovation and touching up. The rooms in particular need updating as they look dated now and some of the fixtures and fittings are either faltering or broken. The rooms themselves are a decent size but again fall short of the size and luxury feel of those other aforementioned properties. We also stayed in the terrace area which, to be honest, feels like an abandoned part of the hotel. Really stuffy in the halls vs the main building and also messy in many places. There were the same dirty tea and coffee cups with spillages in the area where the ping pong tables are for three days running without being cleared up. The pools are good and look very nice but lack the variety and utility of the other properties which have swim up options and more for pre teen and teen children close by. The water park is very tired and dated now and is in need of better upkeep and updating. Again, compared with other properties the difference is quite stark. The food certainly elevates the hotel though and is very good. The Asian and Steak restaurants are exceptional and I would highly recommend them. Excellent food and fantastic food and drink. Well worth paying the supplement for. The Turkish and Italian restaurants serve very nice food as does the 24 hour bistro. I did find breakfast a bit lacking compared to other properties. The pools snack bar was good although choice was a bit limited. The ice cream and ice lolly bar was very good and the kids loved it. Service was a bit varied in our experience. Some was superb, as noted the Asian and Steak restaurants offered excellent service. The manager at the Asian restaurant was great and excellent with the kids. The people serving at the pool were also very good. However, in other parts service felt a bit lacklustre. The 24 hour bistro was a bit variable as it could sometimes take a long time and they would never return to your table to ask if you wanted another drink. We had a very bad service experience at the Turkish restaurant one evening. We were told there were no tables but we could see some. We were then begrudgingly taken to the table for someone sitting at another table to come and say he was reserving those, which for some reason the staff bowed to. We then saw another table and asked about that but was told children were sitting there and were coming back. Five minutes later another couple were shown to that table by that same waiter with us still standing there. We then asked to see the manager but they then relented and showed us to one of the other empty tables they said before that we could not have. Other families were coming in with no issue and the staff were also rearranging tables to accommodate them. The common denominator was that those guests were not English. I did feel "

"We had a wonderful stay overall. The hotel itself was great, everything was well maintained, we had in total 4 rooms and the kids had an amazing time throughout the week. The atmosphere and facilities really made it an enjoyable holiday for us. The only aspect that fell short was the food. Having stayed at several 5-star all-inclusive hotels before, we were expecting a higher standard and more variety. Unfortunately, the buffet felt quite repetitive over the week. We especially missed the traditional Turkish charcoal-grilled dishes such as Adana kebab, Urfa, lamb shish, and chicken shish, as well as items like içli köfte, which would have really elevated the dining experience. This feedback is shared with the intention of helping improve what is otherwise a fantastic hotel. We truly loved our stay and would happily return if the food offering was enhanced."
