The service is great, and the facilities are complete and well-maintained. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again. The environment is pleasant, and there's a large, paid parking lot right outside the hotel lobby. There are many great restaurants nearby, and it's only 1.2 kilometers from Chunxi Road with access to two subway lines.

I stayed here for a business trip, and I added the WeChat of the hotel's personal assistant. Every time, they would help me prepare the invoice and water bill in advance, which was super convenient. The hotel now has a self-service laundry machine on the first floor, which is really handy for both leisure and business travelers. Food deliveries can also be brought to the room by a robot. Although the hotel might have been open for a while, its location is truly excellent.

Meishan mindong Suyuan Hotel

We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

I originally chose this hotel because it's only 3km from the city center, surrounded by upscale shopping areas, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. From the moment I checked in, the doorman downstairs helped with my luggage and patiently waited while I bought water, truly making me feel at home. The housekeeping staff are always fully uniformed and incredibly thorough with their cleaning. A special thanks goes to Andy at the front desk, who was incredibly patient when I returned late at night, explaining the menu, how to use the TV's screen mirroring, and the restaurant's location. He even patiently helped me search online for a Qingcheng Mountain day tour when I expressed interest. The hotel's restaurant also boasts very authentic Sichuan flavors. The service attitude, from top to bottom, is absolutely perfect. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next trip to Chengdu.

YUNXI · Yunxi Tianji S Design Hotel (Chengdu Tianfu Square Chunxi Road)

This hotel is my top choice for travel, and its location is simply unbeatable. This time, I stayed at the Tonino Lamborghini Center by Tianfu Square, and the location was definitely the biggest plus, right in the heart of the city's central axis. Just a few steps from the hotel entrance is a subway interchange station, with Lines 1 and 2 connecting to the entire city, making getting around completely stress-free. Tianfu Square and the Chengdu Museum are within walking distance, so you can soak in the old city's cultural heritage with a leisurely stroll. A short subway ride takes you to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, and a quick taxi ride gets you to popular attractions like Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli. Downstairs, there's a bustling commercial area with plenty of unique snack shops, making shopping and eating incredibly convenient. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views through floor-to-ceiling windows; by day, you can overlook the city's main thoroughfares, and by night, you're treated to the sparkling lights of the entire square. Despite being in a busy area, the soundproofing is excellent, offering both convenient access and peaceful rest. For anyone visiting Chengdu, I highly recommend this place. Its prime location is a huge advantage, making your travels effortless and enjoyable.

Staying at this Vienna Hotel in Jiuzhaigou was a great decision; everything exceeded my expectations! They offer a shuttle service directly to the scenic area's visitor center every morning, making transportation incredibly convenient. The front desk staff was attentive and thoughtful, and the check-in process was quick and easy. We were traveling with a child, and after we connected with them on WeChat beforehand, they even helped us arrange a pick-up car from the station. Upon arrival, seeing we had a child, they proactively upgraded our room and provided a complimentary breakfast for the little one. Their service truly deserves a thumbs-up! The hotel's decor is grand and impressive, and the room's cleanliness was impeccable – the bathroom and bedding were spotless and odor-free. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety of nutritious options, perfect for fueling up before a day of hiking. The gym was well-equipped and maintained, which was great for stretching out and relieving fatigue after long periods of sitting or walking. With all these excellent amenities, it's truly an outstanding choice for accommodation.

This location is fantastic! It's less than a kilometer's walk to Kuanzhai Alley, and super close to major attractions like Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Sichuan Museum, Wenshu Monastery, and Jiuyan Bridge. It was great to be able to pop back to the hotel for a nap after a tiring morning of sightseeing and then head out again in the evening. The hotel is very smart and modern; if you have any issues, just call 'Xiao Shi'. They also offer free coffee and afternoon tea. It made for a very enjoyable two-day weekend trip!

Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Garden Inn Chengdu Taikoo Li. The staff were exceptionally helpful, professional, and always greeted us with genuine smiles. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The hotel’s location is perfect—within walking distance of Taikoo Li, IFS, and many excellent restaurants and attractions. Our room was modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. We especially appreciated the attention to detail. It truly felt like the hotel cared about every aspect of the guest experience—even the quality of the air we breathe. Everything was clean, fresh, and comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere after a busy day of sightseeing. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines outstanding service, an excellent location, and modern facilities, this is the place to stay.

The hotel amenities are excellent. The laundry room and gym on the 29th floor are a huge plus, and it's super convenient to get to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, so you can easily take care of all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs. The breakfast spread is fantastic with a wide variety of options, including kid-friendly and non-spicy dishes. The staff are incredibly kind and gentle. Our entire stay was wonderful, and they even offered a complimentary panda-themed laundry service upon checkout, which was incredibly helpful for us travelers. The room facilities were also top-notch, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this place when you're in Chengdu!

This hotel is super close to popular spots like Kuanzhai Alley and Kuixing Street. There are tons of great food options and shops nearby, which I loved! 😋 I really liked the design of the Orange Hotel; the color scheme is quite charming. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were beautiful and kind, offering warm and attentive service with smiles that brightened my whole day. The room and bathroom designs were very tasteful, with a lovely vintage vibe. The amenities were excellent – a rain shower, smart toilet, and convenient sink. The room itself was clean and tidy, with plenty of natural light. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning was fresh and quiet, allowing me to get a fantastic night's sleep and shake off travel fatigue. I have to give a special shout-out to the large TV in the room. It has smart screen mirroring, and the sound quality of the speakers was outstanding – listening to music felt layered and立体 (three-dimensional) 👍👍👍. Finally, I really appreciated the thoughtful souvenir gift from the hotel 🎁. Thank you 🙏. I'll definitely choose the Orange Hotel brand again next time!
