"The location is very good. It only takes 25 minutes to drive to Brussels Midi (no traffic jam at night). It is right next to the highway intersection, and next to the Aalst outlet (very small). If you are traveling to Bruges or Ghent, it is a good choice to bring your own car."

"Unfortunately, the beds are not double beds. Some modifications are necessary. The rooms are generally okay, although renovations are being carried out discreetly. We also had dinner with a large group, which was absolutely terrible (apparently catered food). There were no options for even minor variations, for example, regarding allergies or vegetarians (people were simply told there was nothing to eat for them). They had to eat out. The waitstaff were incredibly unfriendly. Clothing was soiled, etc. – no apologies or any reaction whatsoever. Breakfast was mediocre. Every slice of sausage/cheese was individually wrapped. The pot of coffee was undrinkable, so everyone rushed to use the coffee machine. All in all, it is in no way worthy of its supposed 4 stars."

"An absolute hidden gem. The staff were incredible. I arrived late in the evening, the restaurant was due to close, I was told if I could be ready to order within 15mins I would be looked after. I was there in less than 10 minutes. The food was outstanding to say the least. The service excellent. The room was very large, comfortable, warm and clean. Massive bathroom also. The only pity is was here for work. This would be a wonderful venue for a romantic getaway. Indeed, I believe the entire hotel and venue would be ideal for wedding."

"We stayed in family room. The room was fine. We think that the wall or insulation is light because we can hear TV from other room. Lift also makes so much noise at night. Breakfast was excellent with omelet and bacon. Honesty bar is a good add so we can enjoy our drink on our own. Staffs are great as well. Great location, near the center and close to train station. We’ll come back when we visit Aalst."
