"The welcome was warm and friendly, and the room was available quickly despite the hotel having few guests. It's quiet and makes an ideal base for exploring the south of the island. The grounds are beautiful and spacious, with a huge private parking area. The room was large, but the breakfast was very basic if you stay for a few nights; there wasn't a single hot option like an omelet, eggs, bacon, or pancakes. There was a plumbing problem for two days, resulting in no water pressure or hot water. We had to request a different room. The pool was being cleaned and therefore unusable for the entire stay; there wasn't a single sun lounger available, nor was it possible to use it during the day. Crucially, the hotel didn't inform us of this beforehand, even though the pool is the main attraction of the property. This is a blatant lack of professionalism. Under different circumstances, the hotel might be pleasant, but I would not recommend it, as there are others in the area that are far superior for a similar price."

"We had a 10 night stay in Piccolo Feudo hotel in the small inland Sardinian town of Sanluri, The hotel was within walking distance to the town centre with plenty of Pizzerias, bars and shop to visit. Sanluri has a few historical sites to visit, namely the Medieval castle at its centre. Definitely worth a visit to get some insight into the history of the town. The hotel itself was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was included between 07:30-09:30 and consisted of warm freshly baked pastries and a few other items to choose from. My only recommendation for breakfast would be a larger variety of cooked items, for example eggs. Rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The hotel has its own free car park with space for about 7/8 small cars. We think the hotel only has staff in the morning around breakfast and then again in the afternoon around 4pm for check-in, there is no staff on site during the night. Guests are given a code to enter the property after 9pm. Staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is appropriately 35mins drive from Cagliari Airport. Would highly recommend travellers hire a car, as Sardinia is bigger than you think. With some fantastic areas to visit nearly a 3 hour drive from Sanluri."

"The location is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful wild dunes and amazing sunsets, but it seems like the hotel is riding on that alone to justify the price. There are many superficial "luxury" features, but the substance, and the details, are way off. So much is wrong, starting with the pervasive sewer smell which is, apparently, something that can not be fixed. The rooms are small, ours was missing robes and do-not-disturb tags (the housekeeper barged in because she could not see the do-not-disturb light in the sun). Lots of other little problems in the room like incomprehensible design choices in the placement of light switches, missing basic toiletry amenities, no replacement of beach towels etc. The regular restaurant has a small menu that does not change (although the Maitre was accommodating to dietary requirements). The waitstaff was overwhelmed and literally running into one another and bickering. The upscale restaurant was pretty much what one would expect, also very few menu options. Curious that it is located in between two sides of the other restaurant ensuring constant pass through. It is pretty obvious that the hotel does not attract quality personnel (the housekeeping staff seemed particularly clueless). Few of the staffers seem to be trained, the ones who are responsive and pleasant seem to be new to hospitality and just (to their credit) trying very hard. We found some workarounds with meals at the small beach restaurants just off the hotel premises: basic food but a lot more together and, for us, a lot more fun. We did have massages at the spa and the therapist was very good. We brought all the problems up to the manager who listened politely and suggested various seemingly generous but ultimately odd solutions like a room upgrade to a room that did not face the ocean as we had chosen, etc. All in all we felt there was a huge discrepancy between price and quality and not much concrete plan to improve that ratio. We do travel extensively and understand very well the category this hotel aspires to, it is just not there. As much as we would love to be in the beautiful landscape again, we would not want to stay at this hotel again."

"This is an exceptional property. The rooms are romantic and fun. The patios are all private with the best view of your life. The food is delicious. And the manager, Antonio , he is amazing. We had a flat tire and he fixed it for us. Which wasn’t easy."

"This inn is located in a tiny village of 500 people. English is not readily spoken. Yet we managed, with the help of Google Translate and marginal Italian and English on both sides to form a feeling of closeness and camaraderie with our hosts at this beautiful place. My wife and I stayed here three nights and enjoyed fabulously prepared dinners by Fabrizio each night. A fire was lit in the fireplace each night, home made Sardinian wine served and good conversation ensued. From assistance with luggage and parking to help with laundry, Maria Rosa and Fabrizio were generous considerate and delightful hosts. Our stay here was a highlight of our 3-1/2 weeks independent tour of Sardinia. Great sightseeing options within an hours drive. Clean and spacious accommodation."
