"Very clean room and shower (shower for one person only very small). No shelf to put things in the bathroom, very small sink. Very kind and pleasant welcome and unbeatable price. 5 minutes walk from the large beach. Hotel overlooking the road with a one meter by two meter pool next to the parking lot. Breakfast not extraordinary although varied. Room overlooking a vacant lot under construction, not great sound insulation. I didn't like this corner of the island at all and the entire north, which is ultra-touristy and lacking in greenery. Good for one night but no more if you have a room not overlooking the sea."

"A truly pleasant experience. Everyone we interacted with was helpful, attentive, and friendly. Hotel: The room covered all our needs and was a relaxing place to return to at the end of the day. Argiris, Panos and the team of staff on reception/caring for the hotel were welcoming and relaxed. The cleaning team kept everything in check and always had a cheery greeting for us. Restaurant/Bar: We had more opportunities for interaction with the staff here - especially Malik. He did a great job caring for the bar/front of house and, in between duties, would engage us in friendly conversations. The kitchen staff provided good food - we even got some tips on how to prepare a couple of the dishes when we showed interest. Positive side note: Our stay took place long before the start of the tourist season. We understood that this would mean that most places on the island would be having work done and/or not be running at full capacity (especially in the wake of severe weather related issues in the area). Ipsos Di Mare was no exception. However, we were never disturbed by any of the work and never felt that anything was lacking at any point."

"Bad points: hotel room was pretty poorly furnished, no where to actually put anything. Beds where pretty much rock hard and fold out third bed would try and fold back on itself. Wouldn’t take a lot to improve with new mattresses and some nicer furniture. Good points: room was clean and tidy. Food was good although quite a small selection. Buggy car service to your rooms as it’s on a very steep hill. Well stocked shop on site that’s reasonably priced. Excellent points: the staff behind the pool bar and the animation team. Both were exceptional. Saka and Maliki behind the Pool bar went above and beyond. Martin, who runs the animation team was amazing, always available for a chat and have a laugh, and you can clearly see that he shows passion in his job as he just wants to make everyone happy!"

Pictures Suites ★★★★

"As mentioned in my last review (10/24), my wife and myself are back holidaying in Corfu again and - after spending 4 nights at the Mon Repos Hotel in Corfu Town (see subsequent Review) - we are now coming towards the end of another most enjoyable (10 nights) stay at the exceptional Pictures Suites property in Agios Stefanos which has, effectively, now become our home away from home. It is always a pleasure to come back to Pictures Suites to enjoy the exceptional facilities, enjoy the outstanding hospitality (both Breakfasts and Dinners are to be sampled to be believed - Christos is, without doubt, a first-class Chef) and, above all, see Michaelis, Nea and all her team members (new and old) again. What was particularly satisfying on this visit was to not only see the property enjoying 100% occupancy but with many of the patrons being returning guests. In addition, I was pleased to learn that after our departure the whole property has been taken for a Wedding and, hopefully, this will be the first of many more as it is difficult to imagine a better local venue! Sad as we are to go, we’ll be back again next June and I’ll be keeping my eyes out for more Turtle Nesting activity on the nearby Agios Stefanos Beach!!"

"Spent a week here with family and grand daughter. Was a bit worried after we booked and saw the strip etc... but were pleasantly surprised. Staff were so lovely, couldnt do enough for you. Hotel rooms were basic but very clean and had everything you needed, I had a duplex room which was a bonus. Breakfast good. Pool was lovely and pool bar was ran very efficiently. Could get snacks at lunch time from it, with lots of choice and good prices. Couldnt hear any noise from the strip outside in the hotel room, so that was good. Entertainment was ok, didnt really stay in for it, but the lunch time singers were a bit of a laugh around the pool. Situated in a great place on beach. Plenty of shops and bars to visit. Would definately think about returning. The reception lady even came to see us all off in the taxi pick up home. Nice touch."
