Kyriad Arles ★★
"The room was okay. We booked a two-night stay at this hotel through Ctrip, including breakfast. Arriving at the hotel a little after 9:10 PM, the front desk clerk warmly checked us in, but didn't explain breakfast. Generally, if breakfast is included, the front desk clerk will inform you of the time and location. If it's not included, they'll ask if you want to order it. However, since we arrived late, we didn't pay attention. The next day, when we had breakfast, no one at the hotel asked us to pay for breakfast. However, when we returned that evening, the receptionist who had been there before asked us to pay for breakfast. I explained that my room rate included breakfast, and that it was also stated on my English confirmation. Since I don't speak French and my English is only sparse, communicating with the front desk clerk was a bit tedious. An elderly woman tried to explain the fee, but the whole process was in French, so the front desk clerk sent her away. Later, a middle-aged man came forward to explain the fee. I asked if he was the owner, but he said no, thinking he was just a tourist or a neighbor, and there was no need to argue with him. Unexpectedly, he became furious, told me to leave the hotel, and threatened to call the police! We exited the hotel and, sitting on a bench near the entrance, called Ctrip customer service. Unlike the previous time in Andorra, the call went through smoothly. Customer service listened to my concerns and said they would contact the hotel front desk immediately and respond in 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the middle-aged man left the hotel and told us the police would arrive in five minutes. However, when he returned about ten minutes later, the police hadn't arrived. He stood behind me and engaged in a conversation with the person across from me, completely rude and unbecoming of a hotel employee. Later, I saw Ctrip calling, but my phone, presumably on Do Not Disturb, didn't ring. So I called Ctrip again, and their customer service offered me a solution: I'd pay for breakfast first, and Ctrip would compensate me. I also asked that Ctrip apologize to the hotel for kicking us out and let us in. Later, a middle-aged man walked out of the hotel, smiling broadly, listening to his phone. He handed me the phone. It was Ctrip customer service, saying they had already communicated with the hotel and that I could check back in after paying for breakfast. After I hung up the phone, the middle-aged man's attitude changed drastically. He smiled and asked me to go through the formalities with the front desk. When I asked to pay by credit card, the front desk said no, and required me to enter my card number into their computer. How could I feel comfortable with that? I said I had to pay in cash, but the front desk looked hesitant and looked at the middle-aged man. He said it was okay, and the matter was resolved. I thought the matter was settled, but when I went back to open the door, I found that the lock had been changed. I went back to the front desk, and they gave me a new key. How bizarre!"
Hôtel Arles Plaza ★★★★
"Great hotel if you are traveling by car!!! Clean room, fitness, sauna, indoor pool - can you ask for more? The only complaints I have are for one the breakfast which is quite expensive and second the tv channels which are mostly in french..."
Urban Style Arl Hotel ★★★
"Hotel in the edge of rocket d'arles in a commercial area, easy access by car. Original déco, large room. The staff of the reception is very nice. Beautiful surprise price quality ratio"
Mercure Arles Centre Arènes ★★★★
"The front desk staff were very friendly and nice."
Ibis Budget Arles Sud Fourchon ★★
"We stop by on the way to Camargue natinal park .It was good location at mid night. We only stay 8 hours to sleep. It was very affordable price to sleep 3 people. I have no complain. But toilet smelled a lots."
Premiere Classe Arles ★★
"Reception only speaks French and is not very open to those who do not speak the language. Otherwise, the hotel offers a good quality/price ratio."
Ibis Styles Arles Palais des Congrès ★★★
"Even with the doors and windows closed, there were still many mosquitoes in the room, affecting my sleep. The location was a bit far from the old town."
Logis Hôtel le Rodin ★★★★
"The hotel is close to the Van Gogh Sanatorium. There is a small town nearby where you can eat. The hotel also has a swimming pool and the room is very small."
Hôtel de l'Amphithéâtre ★★★
"Very pleasant stay! The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

Hotel du Forum
"This charming hotel takes you back to the last century … It is ideally located in the centre of the old town so the sights are within easy walk. Unusually it has a pool and a very attentive bar-man. There are vintage artefacts everywhere…. For a truly French experience, stay here."
Sowell Family les Amandiers
"Really not great for families. It's getting old all around. The food is more than meh. No activities for children (no playground, etc.)."
Le Mas de Peint - Hôtel et Restaurant
"An amazing location and the excellent choice for staying in the Camargue. The house perfectly decorated. Very friendly staff. Don't miss the opportunity having dinner at the terrasse, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. "
Logis Hotel des Granges
"We went with a group of birdwatchers for a week. Given room 2 on the ground floor looking out to the garden. Great unless it rains when the path became a big puddle which is a problem for all outside rooms, Room comfortable and good bathroom with aircon . The staff are friendly . Evening meal was a fixed menu , the beginning of the week it was very nice but de tip rated towards the end . One night was a skinny chicken leg in what I could only describe as an overcooked vegetable soup, strange, never seen broccoli that’s white! I think the cook changed during the week & that was the difference. Nice location though."
Hôtel & Spa Jules César Arles - MGallery
"Highly recommended, the breakfast restaurant is especially good"
Hotel Spa le Calendal
"The South of France is a truly unique place! Arriving late at night, I left the train station and dragged my suitcase all the way to the hotel. The night view along the way was like stepping into a medieval European oil painting. The room was spacious enough, with a small table and chairs by the door. It was very relaxing."
Odalys Residence Le Village Camarguais Les Gardians
"The complex houses two accommodation companies, including Odalys, as well as private rentals. It looks abandoned: small arenas overgrown with vegetation, a closed pontoon on the lake with a half-submerged pedal boat... The adjacent sports grounds belong to the local council and were deserted during our visit. The car park isn't supervised. The accommodation itself had a musty smell and outdated fixtures, etc. Arles is quite a distance away. Nothing about this place felt welcoming. We won't be returning."
Mas de la Chapelle
"Charming, if slightly surreal hotel in which you feel as if you were in a tropical forest. And as with tropical forests, be well-armed against the mosquitos. The place is absolutely crammed full of quirky and unusual artefacts which have clearly taken years to collect, staff are extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast is standard continental fare. The hotel was difficult to find, even the satnav had trouble, and given that the hotel is about 10 minutes away from the town centre, a car is essential."
Le Régence
"Everything I could hope for in a 2 week long base for exploring Provence. Located within easy walking distance from the train station as well as the historic and artistic sites of this ancient city. The couple operating the place were very friendly, personable and encouraged my efforts to speak French and jumped in with their English when needed. I was provided with a clean, comfortable and affordable room with a view overlooking the Rhone River."
Hôtel du Musée
"I travel a lot and have rarely stayed in such a meticulously clean and maintained environment. The staff were all welcoming and the breakfast was very good. The only problem, as always, were my room neighbors, whose conversation I heard until 11:30 pm, between them and on the phone. Unfortunately, there are always guests who forget about the existence of others. "
Mas Petit Fourchon
Le Cloître
"positive: location. negative: no air condition. do not stay in summer. tacky decors. mediocre breakfast. unwelcoming, aloof staffs. parking little distance from hotel, dragging the luggage not fun and of course paying extra for parking."
Hôtel la Muette
"This is a very popular hotel in the local area and very unique. The clerk was very friendly and wanted to remind us about parking before arriving because we had no cell phone signal on the cruise ship. After the call failed, he asked Ctrip to call me. After he still couldn't contact me, he sent me an email with detailed instructions on how to enter the city and how to get into the city. How to park your car. Very touched and grateful to them. The hotel is located in the ancient city and is very uniquely decorated. We all like it. When we left, they were picking fruits under the olive tree at the door. It was a beautiful scene!"
Hôtel Le Relais de Poste Arles Centre Historique
"The hotel is well located, clean and beautifully decorated. I strongly recommend"
Ibis Budget Arles Palais des Congres
"It was a nice stay. We also liked a good breakfast. Probably will choose it again."
Maison Douce Arles
"Nathalie was so wonderful making us feel welcomed. We felt at home & safe during the 4 nights we were there. There is a good variety for breakfast and we enjoyed the special treat that she makes daily. The property is centrally located, walking distance to the sights & restaurants. The room we had was quiet and big with a comfortable bed and a big shower/bathroom. This is an excellent place to use as a base for a few days. My husband and I are very grateful to Nathalie for her help when there was a problem with our next destination. The problem was resolved before we left Arles."
