"We had a spacious room with a sofa on the top floor with a covered balcony. And a splendid view! Excellent beds, plenty of cupboard space, large and good towels, excellent shower. Unfortunately some mold in the seams of the shower cabin. Less attractive entrance, reception on the 2nd floor can be reached via elevator. Downstairs at the lift, ideally located ski room with locker, ski boots are very well heated. Some noise from outside at the front sometimes in the evening/night. Taratata, at the bottom of the building, is recommended as a restaurant."

"My husband and I flew to Geneva for a trip through Switzerland, Italy, and France. Our first night was spent at the W Verbier. It was outstanding. Just driving from Geneva to Verbier was so beautiful. We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by Emma and Maude at reception, who were the right blend of friendly, informative, and professional. The room we were given was gorgeous. Attached is a photo of the view from our balcony. The bed and pillows were perfect. It was so good to sleep off jet lag in such a beautiful and peaceful location. The food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast couldn't have been better. We met Francesca and Blaise at breakfast, who told us about living in the Swiss Alps. All the rest of our stays on the trip were great, but none could compare to the W Verbier."

"A lot of good points for this family hotel that is perfectly run. The hosts are always present, very nice and extremely helpful. The rooms are large enough (some have renovated bathrooms, others not, try to get the former) and the breakfast a notch above average with nice local products. A very good points also for the spa that is of unexpectedly high quality for an hotel in this category. Congratulations. Good Wifi. The single negative point for us was the lack of double beds. The single ones are very narrow and quite unpractical (and they came with heavy winter comforters which were nice but a bit out of season in July!). Altogether a very good choice in a rather preserved village if you want to be close to Verbier but avoid its snobbish environment. "

"This is a great hotel…super central, lovely mountain views, great decor, incredibly friendly/super helpful staff, excellent restaurant, great terrace for drinks….a fantastic place to stay. It also has a very welcoming and laid-back feel, but the restaurant is buzzy at night if you also like a bit of atmosphere. Strongly recommend The Shed if you want a modern hotel, it one that feels both professional but also really friendly. It’s not easy to do, but the my do it well."
