"Arrived here after a very wet motorcycle journey from Scotland only to be greeted by a super friendly chef , who was busy setting up the Argentinian BBQ ,and the manager ,who was busy interviewing staff. Given that we were much too early for the checking in time and also soaking wet, nothing was too much trouble. They sorted out our accommodation, got us lunch and helped us with recommendations for a lovely circular village walk. Had the best burger ever in the evening while sitting beside the log fire with a few pints of the local ale. The breakfast in the morning was cooked and served by the same chef who had been on duty the night before and cooked us a perfect Yorkshire breakfast to set us up for a day on the Yorkshire moors….. perfect place to stop. Will definitely be back!"

"Very poor maintenance and general cleanliness. Old and tired building, dirty carpets everywhere, bath panels blown and hanging off, taps broken, spa changing room with buckets catching water and a hole in the roof, very poor quality and hugely over priced"
