The Mount Rooms ★★★
"Great room decent size friendly staff. Only down side to it the bed was hard and the pillows were thin. Hot water was hit and miss in the shower one day you will have some the next you don't. The heating didn't work in the room but got a heater from reception. Overall a pleasant stay and would stay there again."
Barry Island ★★★
"Easy and friendly check in. Great location and lovely staff but such a shame the breakfast at brewers fare was not up to regular premier in. Standards and there was no coffee machine only instant coffee. Very disappointing and I probably wouldn’t of had the breakfast if I knew"
Celtic International Hotel Cardiff Airport ★★★
"Big room and good service, if 5 star, I will give that 3 star hotel, only breakfast is very simple"
Gail's Guest House ★★★
"Lovely guest house, me my husband and our daughter stayed for 1 night, the beds are really comfy and the room had everything we needed. Location is great short walk to the beach, parking was on road but we found a space easily on a Saturday morning. Breakfast was ok we would stay again"
Travelodge Cardiff Airport ★★★
"Great price for fairly convenient location for me. Two issues : toilet didn’t flush well and some buttons on the TV remote were faulty"
Goodstay Lodges by Urban Space ★★
"A great area of lodges, bars, food places and coffee! 5min walk from Asda and 20mins to the beach and amusement park. Stayed during the heatwave so the place was extremely warm and only a tiny fan which wasn’t much use. Very much out of control of the owners but consider if you know it’s going to be hot when you go. Kitchen had everything you need for cooking (no oven, but has a stove top and a microwave) and utensils. The shelf with crockery was dusty (and therefore the top most dishes and plates). The outdoor space could have been swept before we arrived. A cosy little place and in cooler weather would have been very comfortable for 2 people."
