"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL An absolute disgrace they should be removed from any booking platform check out other reviews and pictures what a disgrace the new owners obviously have there own plans for the place. We booked a room weeks in advance for a family wedding arrived and was basically given ******** excuses by some scruffy old guy wearing a football shirt supposedly looking after reception that we couldn't have a room as there were gas problems, then told by someone on the phone that people were still in the room we'd booked the bloke was then laughing about the fact I was annoyed with his colleague on the phone its a good job my wife was ushering me away as his night could have got a hole lot worse when he commented "well there's a premier inn down the road " AVOID BOYCOTT DO NOT FUND THEM WITH YOUR HARD ERNED CASH THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. My only blessing in disguise was the fact I managed to book in at premier inn. No offer of compensation and I had to drive back to the hotel and demand my money back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY"

"Very friendly staff welcoming us which made us feel immediately at ease for a relaxing weekend. The hotel is maybe a bit dated but the room was spacious and the bed as always super comfortable. It's well located for exploring the area, we found a really nice pub called the Airdale Heifer an easy 10 min stroll from the hotel. There is a Brewers Fayre attached to the hotel which was fine for breakfast but don't expect fine dining."

"Nice enough hotel, room was spacious and well equipped. But it was a little bit old and grubby in the bathroom, not terrible but not brilliant. The old building is lovely but the extensions are pretty ghastly."

"As always a great stay with great facilities. Staff always friendly and helpful."

"Nice location and service are top 👌 easy access and close to trains and bus stations"
